Ugh I'm so disappointed in juice it up! This is the second time I've had a horrible experience. I don't understand what's up with their bowls? Seems like the açaí bowls are more like banana purée bowls now. This is the second location where I've gotten a bowl and it's more like a frozen banana bowl. I miss the days where I went into juice it up and asked for an açaí bowl and I got an acai bowl. Now when I go ( which I won't be going to any juice it ups anymore ) I pray I get a purple looking açaí bowl . Not a brown banana bowl with some açaí in it bowl. The service is pretty great here, they greet you as you come in and will give recommendations on which drinks they like best. It's kind of nice when you've had a very long day doing errands. I like that they have variety with their drinks from smoothies to juices, as well as boosts to add to your drinks. And not only do they have drinks, they have acai and dragon fruit bowls here as well! The bowls are great since they can be eaten on the go and have generous amounts of fruit with it. The Hawaiian is my favorite as they add coconut flakes with banana on the acai. The sweetner on top can be a bit much though, on the downside. But great nevertheless! For the most part, I've yet to be disappointed by a acai bowl. However, drinks can be very hit or miss. I've had drinks that were amazing every single time I've tried them, others....lets just say I won't order that specific drink for a while. Some drinks come out too bitter and sometimes even tasteless. Especially when you order their large, some drinks are very hard to drink through. My last drink was one of their citrus ones, all it tasted off was a bitter orange peel in a liquefied form. I wasn't happy but I really don't like to ask for a different drink, especially when I know the drink would be tossed if I gave it back for another. They add way way more ice then any other juice it up, and even the new raw fusion (which isn't supposed to have any juice) they added apple juice and like 3 spoonfuls of ice to it. This is the worst Juice It Up I have ever been to. They are run so poorly it is sad. I watched the workers use ice instead of the right amount of fruit and ingredients in order to make a larger smoothie and I witnessed them throwing away excess smoothy because they do not know how to measure properly. Drinks sit in the blender for 10-15 minutes before being put into cups. By then they are separated and no longer frozen. The owner Wraymond Sawyerr refused to allow his workers to remake my drinks but has no idea how many drinks get remade behind his back each day. Customer service and appreciation do not exist there. This is just a warning to make sure you check your drinks before you leave and speak up before leaving the store. read more

It's unacceptable for a restaurant or business serving any type of food to have no workers who knows ingredients that are allergens for people, specifically dairy in gluten. Not a single employee knew if the protein had gluten in it. Employees need to be trained on this because it could have awful consequences for those with food allergies. How can they ensure that there's no cross contamination if they don't know what's inside products? I went in on this particular day and I was served by who I believe was the owner; nevertheless, I had a coupon (which I purchased the coupon book from Juice it Up!) and it was for a free ziiing frozen yogurt. First of all this older man was not friendly at all, he did not have the courtesy to ask what flavor I preferred and then just handed me a plain COFFEE flavored frozen yogurt which was melting and disgusting! Only 3 stars because its always so hot and muggy in there. The business owner apparently doesn't understand that what customers want is a cool place to come and get their drinks and a cool spot to chill out for at least as long as it takes to get your order. I don't know about you but I hate going into a place and its hot and humid and much hotter than it is outside especially at 8:30 pm. I frequent this place and its always the same deal day or night. Ac makes people happy, happy customers keep coming back. Not even a fan running in here I don't know how the employees can deal with it and always deliver fast and friendly service. I would be one grumpy dude if I had to pull an 8 hour shift in those conditions. Besides this my drink is always tasty never so thick that I can't start enjoying it right away, nor so thin that it immediately goes watery. The flavor is always right and they never say no to special requests. The service is always quick and very friendly, the ladies always say thanks when I put something in their tip jar. Not sure what's up with the bad reviews. It's your standard Juice It Up. The place is clean, the bathroom is clean, and the service was great. The manager was working and was helpful and nice. The smoothies taste like...well, smoothies. They don't taste watered down, they taste exactly as they should. I'm not a smoothie expert (more of a seasoned amateur) but they seemed to put the right proportion of ice to fruit and blended it for the right amount of time. I wasn't crazy about the boxes lining the hallway to the bathroom, but I came to get a smoothie not critique their ambiance. 4 stars. read more
