After checking out the menu, we ordered two bowls: Blueberry Bliss and Coffee Fix. I was craving coffee but didn't want a separate coffee drink, so this bowl satisfied every craving I had. Hubby was looking for fresh fruit and an açaí base to break his fast, and it blissfully did the job for him. They also offer grilled sandwiches and toasts, standing on their mission that everything is fresh and locally sourced. We sat back to enjoy our bowls, and reminisced about our hike. TLDR: Excellent, nutritious grab and go options. Great customer service. Inaccurate smoothies sold for $6 rather than wasted. After attending a recent Yelp event, I returned to try some of the other menu items. I particularly liked the Dreamsicle smoothie bowl and fudge energy balls. Juicekeys really nails their flavors while packing in nutrition. I only wish there were more vegetable/fiber options for the smoothies. The chocolate fix does have zucchini. Customized dippers, smoothies, and bowls are made in the back. The menu can be difficult to read and it seemed like there was only one copy on the counter. They recently upgraded their menu. The menu does have a QR code and is listed online. Note that the nutrition information was not listed on the printed or online menu. Juicekeys has a convenient online ordering option with self pick-up in the far right grab-and-go fridge. The other fridges are packed with ready-to-eat snacks and drinks. Many of these items did not have listed prices. I appreciate how they sell inaccurate smoothies for a discount ($6) rather than wasting them. The rest of the items are pricy, but comparable to other smoothie bowl shops in the area. $14 for a smoothie bowl and nearly $5 for an energy bite is a bit steep. This isn't my first time trying Juice Keys. I have visited the midtown location in the past. This location in Lafayette Village is small inside and without a dining area. There is only outside seating here which is perfect for enjoying frozen treats. I had the Green Goodness which has Almond Milk, Kale, Cucumber, Pineapple, Apple, and Ginger. I also purchased an Oopskey to-go which are leftovers from smoothies made throughout the day. Oopskeys are half off. Great buy! The service here is great. Loved coming here! Getting to chat with the employee while I waited for my food and drinks was great. I got three drinks and a sandwich from them, and all four was fantastic and healthy! I liked how light everything was and the unique flavors of the drinks. The shop here was a bit small, the only real downside of this place, but there is plenty of outdoor seating and ton of parking for quick pickups! Definitely recommend Juicekeys if you're looking for a healthy supplement to a meal! I got a 16oz Green Delight and it was SO filling, but also delicious! I loved how creamy it was and how refreshing it was at the same time. It wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of creaminess to it. The reason why I give it a 4 star is because it's a bit on the higher price ($11.95). It's certainly a meal. Juicekeys changed their recipes and they're really bad. We've tried the blueberry bowl, the strawberry bowl, the blueberry smoothie, the chocolate smoothie and the coffee smoothie, all since the recipe switch. They're bad, like... I just thew away the blueberry smoothie after 3 bites bad. And "bites" is right; it's so thick you can't drink it out of a straw. Isn't drinkable the point of a smoothie? Last time, my husband had to let his sit for a half hour before it was drinkable. Also, my smoothie didn't taste like blueberry at all, just dates--like a really expensive, calorie-dense sludge. It's a shame; I used to go nearly every week and really liked their bowls, but I don't think I'll be back. The employee was nice and said I could sub out a million things, but what's the point? At that point, I'd go to one of the many less expensive smoothie places. read more

I think this place has the right idea and potential to be great, but it was not the best flavored shots/snack I have had. This place used to be my family's favorite and we have the reward points to prove it. Unfortunately, the menu change was not for the better. We've tried six of the new smoothies and none of them are as good as the originals. I see the owner saying they can be further customized to replicate the originals but online ordering is not setup to accommodate that - it would take a conversation with their staff which is problematic on many levels. Next time, please involve more customers in your taste tests. As it stands, this change seems like a poor execution of a cost cutting initiative. Also, I truly hope someone is buying the bread and meat at this smoothie place because we sure aren't. read more

I have very high hopes and standards when it comes to smoothies... After visiting I wish one of two things: 1. We had a location where I live 2. I became an employee so I could see exactly how I could make said smoothie at home. They even had little samples to try a smoothie bowl before you even buy it. SOLD! I loved my smoothie and enjoyed it throughout the day even whilst not having it refrigerated in 80° sun. I would enjoy having a smaller portion available. I visited Juicekeys randomly, interested in what they had. The shop is very small but cute. There are two refrigerators with bottled juices, breakfast bars, and healthy snacks. By the window, there is a smaller fridge with shots (ginger, lemon, etc). The smoothie and bowls list is on the counter. There is a decent selection but they all seem pretty similar. The cashier was very friendly and helpful with the menu and quick to make the smoothies behind the shop. I ordered the Banana Bread and the Strawberry Cheesecake. Both tasted great and were super filling (I ordered one for my husband and tried a sip of his)! I never get full from smoothies but I did with mine. Juicekeys is definitely a great option for those with dietary needs and/or looking for healthier options. However, I don't think I can justify the $10+ for a small smoothie (no size options). I understand it is healthier and has better ingredients than most smoothie shops. I wish that I could afford this every day because it really is good. read more

Overall I wasn't that impressed with this place. It was fine but not something I'd go out of my way to get. My boyfriend and I went to Kwench up the road but they were closed for the holiday, so we came here instead. The storefront is very small with a few tables outside. So you can eat there if a table is free or take your items to go. First thing that stands out: The young female worker taking our order doesn't have a mask anywhere in sight. There's also no plastic wall/shield between the customer and the cash register (which maybe could have excused the lack of mask). As mentioned, this storefront is very compact, so it didn't feel very safe in terms of COVID-precautions. The customer service in general was also just pretty "blah." She told us where the menu was and then just waited until we said we were ready to order. Nowhere on the menu does it say you can personalize your order with other add-ins and she never said anything... I just happened to notice the small sign/menu (pictured) behind the register after our order was already in. The bowls and smoothies here are pricier than other places, so we expected the quality to be very high. I got the pumpkin pie smoothie and my boyfriend got the Blueberry bliss bowl. My smoothie was enjoyable, though it felt overpriced considering the ingredients were pretty basic (pumpkin, banana, coconut water, etc). It was also so thick I couldn't drink it with the straw they gave me so I had to scoop it out. The blueberry bliss bowl was several dollars more, but unfortunately the quality of the strawberries on top was questionable. They didn't seem very fresh and in some places were discolored. Between the customer service/COVID safety and the quality/price, I won't be rushing back. read more

My favorite flavors that stood out were banana, coffee, almond butter, and the chocolate chips. It's a huge bowl; definitely big enough for a meal. I'd love half sizes for just a little treat. BEST SMOOTHIE OF MY LIFE. Every smoothie I've had from here has been filling, delicious, and doesn't make me feel icky after like I had too much sugar. I recently had Inbraces put on and it was hard for me to eat and these smoothies were a game changer. They filled me up, I got my protein, got some vegetables in, and they are so tasty. My personal favorite is the blueberry and I switch out the cashew butter for almond butter and add zucchini. I've also ordered the blueberry the night before work and left it overnight in the fridge and had it the next day and it was just as fresh. My husband's favorite is the orange and strawberry. It's also nice to order one and sit outside or walk around Lafayette. I also read a review that someone said the smoothies were too thick...I personally love that because I know they're good ingredients and it's not diluted down with ice or water. It's like a meal. And if it's too thick for you then just wait 10-15 minutes for it to soften or eat it with a spoon (some people will honestly complain about anything). For the juices and food: the cocoa balls are amazing! They are like a treat but you feel healthy after eating them! I keep them in my fridge and have one before a walk/run to give me a little energy. Their juices are also really good, I recommend the carrot. For the toasts I've only had the avocado and the banana nut butter one and they are also really good in the morning when I don't feel like making breakfast. The app is super user friendly - I order all my smoothies ahead of time and then pick up - sometimes I'll omit something and add another ingredient and not once have they ever messed up my order. The price I think is very reasonable for the smoothies. It would cost me more than double to make one smoothie with the same ingredients and my blender is no where near as good compared to the texture of how these smoothies turn out.
