Before I arrived, I didn't realize they were located inside of L.A. Fitness so finding it was a little confusing. There's a parking garage where L.A. Fitness will validate your ticket so you don't have to pay. The parking garage also serves several other businesses so it may take you a little trial and error to find the entrance to L.A. Fitness. Part of the reason I stopped by is that I saw they have a Yelp Deal. After buying the voucher and trying to use it, I was told that the previous owner created the deal so they were unaware of it. Luckily, they were still willing to honor it. I'm not sure if they've taken the deal down, but if they haven't, here's your heads-up. Since the Yelp deal is for a good deal of money, I ended up ordering quite a bit. They have a combo deal where you can get a sandwich and a smoothie. I got four different smoothies and four sandwiches. For each smoothie, I added an add-in for an additional charge. That got me to the value I needed for the Yelp deal. Lunch for all week! They have a couple of tables if you'd like to eat there but it's more of a grab-and-go spot. The sandwiches are paninis and they were good and used healthy ingredients. They have a grilled cheese option, chicken pesto sandwich, etc. A lot of their sandwiches have spinach. You can easily make a comparable sandwich at home but you do have the convenience factor here, especially if you work out at the gym. The smoothies were also good but nothing to write home about. All-in-all, a convenient and solid addition to L.A. Fitness. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here if you're not a member of the gym, but if you are, I'd take advantage.

As someone with Celiac Disease, I love how they offer gluten free options for their food. (Their food is also vegan.) I always go for the breakfast sandwich with smashed avocado and chili sauce. Time to Order: Varies - the Taro Milk Tea came out very quickly (few minutes) but the honey lavender tea drink took longer (I watched them brew it fresh). I ordered a Taro Milk Tea at 25% sweetness with tapioca. Hit the spot, good taro flavor, and the tapioca texture was great. I would say by personal preference that it was a tad starchy and I don't like crushed ice as much because it starts getting sucked up with the boba, but it was still a good milk tea at very reasonable price. I tried my partner's honey lavender tea (beautifully presented) at 25% sweetness and it also, surprisingly, wasn't sweet for a honey drink! The lavender is real, not a syrup, and the only sweetness comes from the honey. I'd definitely come back for their lunch deal ($10 for a banh mi, milk tea, and chips). It's awesome that they're an option in the area for so many kids oriented activities.

If you like strawberry, banana, apple juice, and protein this a good drink for you. It did have a bit of a sour after taste at first but I got used to it after drinking it some more. It also is a bit pricey for the portion size but it does come with a lot of ingredients. I came during the grand opening and it was packed with a lot of students but the smoothie baristas still managed to get orders out in a quick manner and were super sweet. You can order at the kiosk or with one of the smoothie baristas. The space is fairly small with the main purpose of it being to just taking and dispensing orders. It is more of a to-go place but there are some tables outside if you wish to hang out after grabbing your drinks.
