The presentation points go to the perfectly blended Wundershowzen I ordered, the refrigerated display, and the cleanliness.

On top of coming with a…read moreplethora of topping options, you won't find another juice bar that makes ordering smoothie bowls so simple. I respect the owners mission and values. He is very persistent in delivering quality products to his customers and quality service. I used to work here, and my experience here has honestly played a big role on my take on health. I was a customer before employment and even after employment, because the quality is just that good at a fair price. If you really care about what you are consuming, this is a place for you. Also a good place to network your business and uplift others by posting sticky-notes on the window/wall!

I tried an acai bowl my first visit, and a smoothie and a cookie on my second. Yaahhh, the cookie wasn't the healthiest choice, but it was good. Although I ordered a salted chocolate chip cookie, the cookie I received tasted more like a salted gingerbread cookie with chocolate chips. I love gingerbread, so for me, this made the perfect pairing. On the other hand, if gingerbread is not for you, don't order this cookie. Unable to decide among the juice and smoothies, I was blessed to have the input of an enthusiastic team member. In the end I went with the strawberry mint, sweetened with monk fruit, with added protein. It was backed with flavor. I'm usually a green juice girl, so I already have a reason to return. Although I wish I lived closer, I'm excited to return to try a new treat.

This was a work lunch which is disappointing because I want to try some of these drinks. LET'S GO…read moreDIRTY HORCHATA!!! Dona Leti's has great salsa, and chips, no green sauce unfortunately. The decor of this place is like walking into a low rider's garage, there's bright murals all over the walls of skulls, Houston sports teams, landmarks and celebrities. It's a whole vibe walking in with the all the colors and reggaeton blasting. The restaurant was slow paced on our visit. The food took awhile to get to the table, longer than other places. Our server did inform us that everything is homemade from scratch. But it was an hour between when we ordered and our meals came out. That wouldn't have been a problem if I was halfway through my third Dirty Horchata, but it was my lunch hour and time is short. So that knocks it down a star. On to the food- Shrimp Quesadillas- good, the cheese was gooey and had a great pull. It was buttery and fried perfectly, the shrimp were crisp and well cooked. Rice- it was super! Loved it. Refried Beans- one of my coworkers didn't get her beans with the meal. So I gave her mine, since we only had an hour I had to take the beans to go. Don't ask about the guac because I gave it away! I will try Dona Leti's again. The food was very good, maybe a cook called in and it was just a bad day. All I know is the bartender better be on point when I go back.

It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks (water) and nearly 45 minutes to get our food. I had to flag the waiter down every time I needed something, and they weren't even that busy. I ordered the 3-taco entree ;two chicken fajita tacos and one steak fajita taco and I was disappointed when I realized they use dark meat chicken for their chicken fajita tacos. This was a first for me. Every Mexican restaurant I've been to has used chicken breast for chicken fajita tacos, so that's what I was expecting. Waiting 45 minutes for tacos and nachos, combined with the subpar service, really took away from the experience. The service, the food and service just didn't live up to all the hype. I definitely won't be rushing back.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 2/5 Overall: 4.2 My group got the fresh fruit shaved ice with strawberry ice cream and coconut pudding. The shaved ice itself was really nice and fluffy, with the condensed milk topping being VERY sweet yet not overpowering. The fruit toppings we got, for the most part, were good. The pineapple and cantaloupe were both okay, though I think they both could've been fresher, but the strawberry and mango were both really good and complemented the shaved ice. I also really enjoyed the strawberry ice cream on top. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it added another dimension to the dish. The coconut pudding, though, was quite disappointing, not tasting like much and overall just feeling like a random and unnecessary addition to the otherwise really good dessert. The ambiance here was the main issue. It is a little bit barebones and not very decorated, but that didn't bother me. What did though was the piercing high pitched noise of the electronics, which made it really hard for me to focus, and the flashing lights, which just made me feel really disoriented. Still, this place is a hidden gem in the Dun Huang Plaza compared to everything else around it, and is definitely worth a try!
