JuiceRx is my go-to place to get my favorite bowl, which is the Banana Dragon! The base of this bowl is super light and creamy without a bitter aftertaste that some berry bases may have. The toppings complement the base very well and provide a nice variety of textures with each spoonful. The juiciness of the fresh fruits on top is a nice contrast to the crunchiness of the shredded coconut. In addition to being delicious, the Banana Dragon also looks very colorful and aesthetically pleasing with its purple base and light blue whipped cream on top, which makes for great pictures! One thing to note about this particular JuiceRx location is that it closes relatively early (at 3 pm) so you will need to plan accordingly. I am definitely looking forward to being a regular here as the weather heats up in the coming months. Hopefully, I will get the chance to try some of the other bowls and items on the menu, but I do find myself repeatedly ordering the Banana Dragon because it is so great! read more

This is by far the best açaí bowl I've had! While it is a bit pricy, I would say it's worth it for the quality. The Harlequin Monkey bowl and fruit alchemist bowl had tons of tasty toppings that were all natural. The workers were super friendly and helpful in choosing out different items. Orders that were supposed to take 10 took 40+, and only because they kept deciding to combine orders of other people based on ordering the same bowl vs completing an individual order at a time...which drastically compounds wait time (duh!) That's why it was 40 min not 10...because you made 4 extra bowls. Someone please train these kids to finish an order...it's honestly not worth the hassle of the horrible service to come here. As a green smoothie lover, I was disappointed with our experience here. I spent $13 on a smoothie, the green dream. They were very busy & we waited about 15 minutes for our drinks-which isn't a problem, but we did not get what was advertised. It is a very small, crowded indoor space. It's hard to order, ask questions about the menu or talk to staff with the sound of blenders constantly going off. The Smoothie was very bland for being advertised as a sweet green smoothie. It wasn't even blended properly, I had multiple large chunks of fruit in the cup. It's disappointing because we asked staff for recommendations and the drinks we got were very mediocre. Another friend ordered a coffee and it was not a good roast. I love the concept of this place, but it's not worth the price. I didn't even finish my drink, $13 wasted. Yummy juices and bowls. This location is right by corepower yoga so super convenient after some yoga! I got the green dream which was described as light and refreshing-- it definitely was! I like how you can customize the drinks by adding boosts or, if you're like me, take out the ginger. The green dream was fruity and had a kick of sour due to the lemon. The acai bowls here are interesting, but not amazing. I got the harlequin monkey, and while the flavors of the toppings all blended well with the acai, the ratio of toppings to acai was off, with half of the bowl consisting of the toppings. The acai itself was also a bit icy and slightly melted when they gave it to us, which was definitely a bit disappointing. While the flavors of this bowl weren't necessarily my personal favorite, I can see why this is a customer favorite. read more

Stopped by Juice Rx for a light breakfast and the açaí bowl truly added brightness to a gloomy Sunday. I went in person, and was greeted by staff and able to order right there. Everyone there practiced social distancing and other safety precautions and the staff made it easy to order, and had quick turn around in how quickly they prepared the order. I ended up landing on the Fruit Alchemist, and I was shocked at how amazing it was. It was apple juice, cherry, banana, strawberry, and pomegranate açaí, topped with a very crunchy granola which added great crunch/texture throughout the entire bowl, strawberries, blueberries, banana, almond butter, shredded coconut, goji berries, bee pollen, and coconut whip. I also added peanut butter for an addition 50 cents. This was a very quality açaí bowl. Potentially the best I have ever had. The texture of the açaí was spot on, the fruit was layered and paired well, and the almond/peanut butter added nutty flavor to the tartness from the berries. My favorite part was the granola, it was very crunchy, had good flavor and just added overall great character to the bowl. It was pretty pricey, about 15 dollars however, they do not skimp you on and fill the bowl literally to the top. It was such a healthy and refreshing treat, a light way to start my morning and I was very full after eating. Thanks Juice Rx! I highly recommend, go get you some. read more

I can NOT contain my excitement about my FAVORITE acai bowl in the city, finally opening up right down the street from my house!! HALLELUJAH. Alright.... now that I got that out of my system, on to the good stuff. On my first trip, I of course went with the Fruit Alchemist acai bowl. You cannot go wrong with an acai smoothie base, covered with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, goji berries, bee pollen, coconut shreds, (housemade?!) granola, coconut whipped cream, honey and a healthy drizzle of almond butter. YUM. Yes, it is pricey, but you are getting fresh fruit and to me, it's enough food to satisfy my hunger. This location is also great because they have a cute seating area closer to the gym side, with a dining room table and couches to relax on. Even the man working the counter seemed happy to be here. They also offer pre-bottled juices, homemade kale chips, spiced almonds, and healthy dessert options. Some of the desserts I saw included raw coconut or chocolate truffles, with the ingredients listed right there on the label for you to check out. I love that they are sweetened with things other than raw sugar (blehh). Next time I come in (which most likely will be sooner than later...) I want to try the Keto Acai bowl. One of the only places I have seen around the city that offers and advertises a keto/low carb friendly meal. Overall, I'm super happy JuiceRx expanded to Lincoln Park, and I'm excited to try pretty much everything on the menu. :). Will update as I do! read more

We ordered: Green Magnolia - a life changing green smoothie! Tasty and healthy! Rejuva Root - a red mix juice of beets, apple, etc. Not the best taste if you're not a beet lover. Black Phoenix - a creamy and chocolate taste smoothie with all good stuff added! The correct way to start an energetic morning! Harlequin Monkey - probably the most popular açaí bowl here. I can't say it's healthy given all the peanut butter/Nutella/nuts/banana... but it's sooo delicious! Avocado Toast - topped with pomegranate, very special and yummy taste. I found this place on Yelp while I was in Chicago and decided to give it a try.. its such a cute little shop with lots of variety. Food, drinks, elixirs, juices, smoothies, etc etc... I was surprised by how much they had to offer! I picked up a bottle of the HANGEROVER elixir and the GUT elixir-- you can guess my reasoning. Reasonably priced at around $6 each and a nice qty. While I see there are many positive reviews, I had a few issues here. First service was a bit slow. The inside is small and very congested and no one asked if I needed any help with selection as it was very obvious I needed a bit more assistance. Every drink I saw was made with almond milk and coconut milk with not much variance and just not my preference. They do have espresso but they do not have decaf. One item was around $13. Also they don't open until 8 am which is a bit late if you plan on getting a drink after a workout especially if you have a job that starts early. read more

Ordered delivery from here today for a healthy lunch! We got our food in about 30 min. I got the Tuscan toast. I liked it but had to add some salt (I do like my food pretty salty though ‍). I'm starting to feel like acai bowl establishments are a dime a dozen. The acai bowl here, at least the one I tried, was pretty on par with the best ones I've had in Chicago however to my knowledge they have a monopoly on this particular area. I have to point out that although they open at 7 the acai bowls aren't available until 8 a.m. My avocado toast was extremely tiny & lacked any flavor at all. The establishment wasn't particularly busy on a early Saturday morning however they seemed a tad disorganized as they didn't have pumpkin seed for my avocado toast & my order came out separately. Not things to prompt giving or taking away stars but they also forgot to include my check in discount which in turn made me contact them & they did in fact rectify. In closing I recommend the acai bowl, it's a very nice size & the elixirs are actually worth the money also. Parking is scarce but if you're brave enough you can do the "15 min tow zones". read more
