Once you place your order, someone there will get you a seat, so you won't have to hunt for your own seating (which is soooo helpful) and then servers will run your food and drinks to you. We had the morning sandwich, turkey bacon and egg croissant , lavender lemonade, a lemon mini Bundt cake and the salted chocolate cold brew. The food was soooo good!! Came by for breakfast the other day and it was a decent experience. This cafe gave my NYCish vibes. There was plenty of seating indoors and the staff were uniformed and cheerful. Opted for a latte and it was decent. Espresso was smooth and temperature was on point. Opted for the turkey bacon egg croissant sandwich and it was surprisingly a miss. The croissant felt mass produced along with the egg omelette. The turkey bacon was decent. This is a nice spot, contingent on you not arriving during peak breakfast hours. Goddess and the Baker has some really good reviews so I wanted to try out at least their cold brew menu. They had a tiramisu drink that caught my interest so I decided to head over after breakfast. Upon arriving, the line was out the door for takeout orders, and it took me roughly 50 min from start to finish to get my drink in hand. Overall the drink was pretty good and I would be interested in trying their other coffees and food, but I can't really justify it with the wait time. If you're looking for a morning pick me up, come here to grab coffee and a bite to eat. Everything here is so good, you can't just get one item. They have all their pastries on display and you can tell each one is made with love and high quality ingredients. I'm a coffee person and had to come here everyday on my work trip to get the coffee. I got the Tiramisu and Salted Chocolate cold brew with condensed milk in it. It was so good, I kept coming back for more. I loved the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. You gotta have them heat it up. The chocolate croissant actually had a good amount of chocolate filled inside. The cinnamon roll hit the spot! I liked the bacon and avocado omelette. Every once in a while you find a place that is doing things with food that are mind blowing. Reinventing every day breakfast items into magical delights. When you enter this place and step up to the counter you realize you're at such a place. The pastry display is magical taking croissants and filling them with non every day items like Shakshuka, hotdogs and such. I had the chili crisp egg bowl which was amazing. I came here several times while in town for a work trip because (1) it was close to my hotel, and (2) it was a really nice place! I tried the turkish delight latte both hot and iced (it's better hot, in my opinion) -- it's sweet and the flavor is unique which I really enjoyed! I also tried one of their pistachio croissants which was very sweet but it was tasty; I'd never had one before and liked the taste of the cream. They warm it up for you too, it's nice to have in the morning with coffee or tea. I also tried their chili crisp egg bowl on the day I left Chicago, which did store and travel well all the way to the airport where I had it about 1-1.5 hours later -- it was very tasty, and not too spicy (but had a strong kick!). The texture of the food was particularly nice and even though it was $15 which is a little high, I was certainly full. I would definitely have it again :) The inside of this place is also nice; it's usually pretty full and the tables are full (in the mornings anyway), but it would be a good place to hang out and study I think. The bathrooms are also very clean and the staff are nice, and they give you a $5 birthday coupon :) Overall would rec a visit here if you are around downtown Chicago and want a drink or pastry! read more

The coffee here is very good, but the service is so painfully slow. It's a consistent issue, which is surprising given its proximity to the red line/morning commute route. The pastures are yummy, but coffee is the real winner. If they were able to tighten up the wait to even at 5min per customer, I'd be here so much more often! read more

I came here on the last day of neocon and the space was huge but I do recommend going a bit earlier to avoid the rush. I'm not sure if it's typically like that every weekday or just because of neocon. Everyone was super friendly and they brought my food out to me when I dined in. I like that the lattes you get when you dine in have a little muffin as well. I tried their cinnamon roll, iced tiramisu latte, and lox bagel. I do wish the tiramisu latte was a bit stronger but it was still pretty good. The lox bagel was delicious and the bagel was super soft and warm when I got it. Obsessed with this place and I so wish we had one of these in St. Louis. I came here twice during the span of my time in Chicago for a work trip. We stopped by here for brunch since it was very close to our hotel. I didn't realize there were multiple locations. I had the turkey bacon egg croissant and the wife got the avocado toast. We really enjoyed our food but the coffee was the best. We got the Vietnamese cold brew and that was so refreshing and good. It helped wake me up in the morning and got me ready for the day. I added some Cholula hot sauce to give it additional flavor and that really topped it off, yum! I wish they provided a knife if I chose to cut it in half, but the sandwich is manageable regardless. - Iced Oat Milk Latte (3/5): The ratio of milk was more, which lightened the taste. It was ok, but have had better on another occasion. Still enjoyed the muffin treat! I wish it came with a straw for dine in. Nice laid back spot to grab coffee, a pastry or a sandwich. We were mainly there for coffee. It was about 70 degrees so I got the iced shaken espresso and my wife got the goddess sweet cream cold brew. My main observation on the drinks is that they weren't overly sweet which was welcomed! Usually, I'm requesting sugar free syrup and/or oat or almond milk vs whole milk to cut down on sugar and carbs and I want to taste the coffee. We both remarked that the drinks were just sweet enough. My espresso was served in a glass that made me think of an alcoholic drink (see photo). We also grabbed a croissant and coffee cake. The lightly sweetened drinks balanced out the sweetness from the pastries which were fresh and tasty. Service was great and the vibes were chill. Great stop for lunch or an afternoon snack! The space is beautiful and bright, I loved the atmosphere. I got a Yuzu Lemonade and a Caprese Sandwhich and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that it was super expensive especially for a quick bite - we got two sandwhiches, a bottled Soda, and Lemonade, along with with a souvenir water bottle but our total was around $100, and even with the bottle that seems like a lot and was not what we were expecting, so just keep that in mind. read more

I was having a staycation in the city and wanted to try something new. I've always seen this cute coffee shop but I've never stopped in. Well, I finally did! I have to say this is such a cute little coffee shop. The line was pretty long upon entering but it moved rather quickly. Before I knew it I was at the front of the line so don't let that deter you. They have so many bakery and drink options that I could barely decide on what to get. I decided to go with a chocolate croissant and pistachio latte. Both were perfection. My fav was the chocolate croissant. It was so flaky and chocolaty! I grabbed a seat by the window so I could enjoy my treats while doing a little people watching. It was a nice chill vibe and a great place to get some work done or just relax and read a book. Busy busy! The line moved quickly. We were given menus while outside. You place your order at the register and stand to the side to wait to be seated. I don't think this is the typical process, but it was so busy that day, order was needed amongst all the people. It was organized, quick, and staff were still friendly despite being extremely busy. I ordered the Turkey bacon croissant and hash brown for breakfast. Hash browns were just ok, the sandwich could've used more bacon and less egg. I'd return and try other things. This is my wife's favorite coffee shop chain so I have to give it a 5 stars (haha). But in reality, every time we go, it's always a hit. Never had a full meal like this before and it was delicious. Gyro Pita with Fries, delicious. The arrive was good too, nothing out of the ordinary BUT it is very thoughtful of them to have a HUGE water jug outside for people and doggo's. So nice when I see restaurants do that, they care about the community. The vibes were good too, I believe the manager came out to check on us, great vibes. It's not great - the pastries and coffee only just ok - the service can be downright rude. We went twice, because it was close to our hotel - after a good experience ~3 years ago at the Millennium Park outpost. The first time, we went for coffee and cake, I was hoping for rainbow cake, but when I asked about it, the server looked at me as if I were nuts, she'd certainly never heard of such a thing. I had a slice of their strawberry-rubarb loaf which was decidedly mid. The second time we went for breakfast. Nothing was great - my pecan sticky bun was borderline stale, the other breakfast items were OK (burrito and sandwich) but ordinary, they messed up the coffee order (and initially refused to believe it), and most weirdly tried to gate keep which table we sat at, for no other reason than they seemed to want to. All in all we would not go back again. There are so many better places. read more

I used to work at Starbucks and this place has a handmade quality to it which I love.
