    Curry chicken with avocado
    Rachel P.

I love Jamaican patties but I also don't have too many to compare to. For me- it hit the spot. My favorite was the curry chicken with added avocado. So flavorful and I like that it was creamy in a way.

I am a Juici Patty customer, with this being the 4th location I have visited. I think the drive thru is a unique feature. As we walked in, we were told from the back they would be with us in a minute. She ended up helping all the cars in the drive thru before helping us even though we got there before some cars. I get that traffic backing up isn't great, but it shouldn't mean my food takes forever. If you want a quick in and out, do add extra to the patty- I added avocado because it's such a great balance with the spicy patty, but if I would have known it would have made it where they were serving people who came in after me, I would have stuck with the plain patty. Now the reason for still 4 stars is because the patties are absolutely freaking delicious. Make sure to pair it with a coco bread for a delicious meal. I probably won't be back to this location but will stick to the ones I go to normally where I do get better service.

This is a great idea for a last-minute snack, for lunch, dinner or even a beach picnic. Flaky, melt in your mouth flavor will keep you coming back for more. The service was great. The drive-through lady gave us options. Help helped us to pick the right package for us for the day for lunch. The ambience is very bright welcoming, fun and as well delicious Highly recommend !!!

I was in Davie and came across Juici Patties. I usually get my jamaican patty fix from the frozen foods section at the supermarket but these are pretty good. It was raining heavily so the tunnel drive-thru was perfect. I ordered 1 beef patty and Coco bread; you can get the patty mild or spicy. And I got a Jamaican Grape soda. The prices are very reasonable. The young lady who took my order was very nice. Highly recommend, will be back!:)

Drive thru is the best!! Very well designed and thoughtful accessibility. This is directly across from the Hard Rock Hotel which is very popular and convenient.

Authentic Jamaican beef patties! The inside was clean and the people were friendly. My only complaint is the price, it's a bit costly.

Picked up the spicy beef and mild beefs, they were also good flaky, good amount of filling and flavors, no complaints at all.

She was not stingy with filling the plate up. The lady that helped us today was sweet as pie. She was warm, sweet and professional. The place was clean and the food aroma filled the room. Pure goodness! I'm so glad I found this place. When my craving for Jamaican food comes back, I now have my go-to place. 100% recommend!

Initially saw some pictures on Yelp that convinced me to give this place a try and I'm so glad I…read moredid! It's a small, mom-and-pop-like shop which of course is the best kind of restaurant IMO. When I walked in, everything smelled amazing and all the food was covered up, which I can appreciate for cleanliness purposes. I was greeted by a smiling and upbeat Simone, who is super warm and welcoming. This was a very pleasant surprise given how my beautiful Jamaican people do not always get the best rep for customer service (IYKYK). I ordered the oxtail, rice and peas and some jerk chicken. Simon gave me a beautiful, and packed plate. The rice and peas was SOO good, I was happy just eating it by itself. The oxtail pieces were big and juicy and FALL-OFF-THE-BONE good. The cabbage had a distinct color and flavor that I LOVED. I give the overall plate a 9/10 only because I didn't get any carrots with the oxtail or sweet plantains in my order which I personally prefer and personally feel should come with oxtail meals. Also because while the jerk chicken LOOKED AMAZING and was nice enough, it didn't pack as much flavor as I would like and they didn't have a signature sauce with it (again, a personal preference, try it yourself, to see how YOU feel). Overall, this was an awesome experience. I would definitely eat here again and strongly encourage you to give it a try if you haven't yet, even just to experience the pleasure of meeting Simone.

Some restaurants serve food. Others serve memories…read more For me, Joy's Roti Delight isn't just the best Trinidadian restaurant in Broward County--it's a place that's been part of my life for years. I've been eating there since they were in their original location connected to Lauderhill Mall, and no matter how many restaurants I've visited as a chef, Joy's has always felt like home. Walk through the front door and you'll see the large photo of Mr. Vishwanath "Joy" Sawh. That picture is more than decoration--it's a reminder of the man whose kindness and passion built a place that has fed generations of South Floridians. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to meet him. He was genuinely one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. And the food? Simply outstanding. Their doubles are, in my opinion, the best in Broward--soft, fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with authentic Trinidadian flavor. It's no surprise they're one of the dishes people rave about over and over in public reviews. The curry goat is tender and deeply seasoned. The curry chicken is rich and comforting. The curry duck is phenomenal. The stew chicken tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen. Pair any of them with their flavorful rice and peas, curry potatoes, or curry chickpeas, and you understand why Joy's has built such a loyal following over the years. But believe it or not... my favorite side is the pumpkin. Funny enough, I used to never eat pumpkin. Mr. Joy himself convinced me to give it a chance, telling me how good it was for me. If you know what I mean I finally listened--and I've been hooked ever since. It's funny how the smallest conversations can stay with you forever. Don't leave without trying their homemade pepper sauce either. It brings just the right amount of heat while letting the flavors of the food shine. As an Executive Chef who's fortunate enough to eat at restaurants across South Florida, I know great food when I taste it. But what separates Joy's isn't just the cooking--it's the heart behind it. The recipes, the consistency, the culture, and the people have made this place a landmark for Trinidadian cuisine. Rest in peace, Mr. Vishwanath "Joy" Sawh. Thank you for the meals, the conversations, and the legacy you've left behind. Your name still brings people together around a table, and that's one of the greatest accomplishments anyone in the restaurant business could ever hope for. Some legacies are written in history books. Yours is written in every plate that comes out of that kitchen.

Once again one of my go to's when in the mood for trini food! On this visit my friend got a veggie roti and I got 2 doubles.. 1 with curry chicken.. we also got 2 pineapple ginger juices. Everything was delicious, filling , and ready quickly.
