middle-of-the-road. This place doesn't really warrant much more description, but for the sake of you zealous Yelpers, I'll provide some more detail. The bored staff were uninterested in waiting on customers. I ordered a taro bubble tea (with skim milk and low sugar). The drink took about 6 minutes to prepare (without a line). The flavors were bland and overly sweet. I asked if, truly, no sugar was added and they replied yes. When I watched them make the following customer a standard taro bubble tea, it was prepared the EXACT same way. So much for customizable drinks. Okay when the juicing fad came to town I just scoffed and laughed at everyone. But if you want a nice light lunch or just a pick me up, then Juicy Cube is your place to go. I've gotten several of their smoothies such as the Greenlicious which was filling and delicious. They have options with protein or just plain juice (vegetables or fruit). This place is always packed but you don't have to wait long because their staff is efficient. I also love how they seal their drinks so you can carry without a worry of dripping or making a mess. One critique: I do wish they would post their calorie and fat content for their drinks - you can get a general idea because they list all ingredients but you don't know the proportions. read more

This place is the spot for a great summer day to sit and have a drink. I grabbed a free sample of Strawberry Slush. Not only the slush was good but the environment inside the store made it seem charming and welcoming especially with the cute asian girls and nice music...I cant complain .. Absolutely horrible. The milk teas were disgusting and tasted really artificial. They put a lot of powder in the drinks yet they were still bad. The people do not greet you even when you've greeted them. When you walk in, they just stare at you until you order. The vanilla tasted like water and when asked to remake it to almond, he gave us the same one. Not to mention all their drinks are overpriced. My new bubble tea shop interest is Yakult, it makes me happy, and specifically Mango Yakult, cause lemon is for salads, and grapefruit messes with medications. So one day I am turned away from Coco's on 45th because they ran out, and on my trek uptown found Juicy Cube. Coco's was 'just alright' compared to this Mango Yakult: upsized to a large it came as a blended drink, no watery-ness, and no bubbles based on my choice, but long lasting refreshing balanced flavors.. I may have overdone it, I could've been thirsty, but they were so nice I will certainly have to go and test them on my other go-to, passion green tea w/bubble. read more

I really love this place! The juices taste so good! And nothing is overly sweet or not balanced. I love the greens and morning juices and the greenalicious smoothie with chia. The team there is friendly and work well, during lunch hours they are like a team of elves making these amazingly healthy yummy drinks. I also like their music, it always makes me want to dance. The place is clean, but I do wish they'd wipe the benches down more often as you can see fingerprints on them. read more

First time ever trying a healthy juice spot and i was impressed! I had the carrot, strawberry banana drink and it was delicious! Really enjoyed the quick service and how they serve their drinks ( plastic cup sealed with plastic top you can poke straw through). Best bubble tea you can get. Ive had bubble tea all over the country, and the world and i think this is hands down THE best. The milk is really creamy and rich and they fill the cup with tons of bubbles and very little ice. You get what you pay for and you get high quality tea. Not to mention the service is EXCELLENT. my gf and i arrived 15 min after they closed and the team was walking out. They realized we went there just for some tea (we were carrying our luggage) and the owner asked everyone to come back in and make us some taro milk teas. Wow. Love this place. I always order the smoothies (strawberry, kiwi, banana...sometimes with Kale). It comes out to about $6, but... it's NYC. Smoothies are $4-5 regularly anyway and usually not even made with fresh ingredients like here. The place is clean, workers are friendly, and I love the fresh fruit and veggie decor. I walk pass this Juicy Cube every day on my way to and from Yoga. I tried their all greens juice a few times and was satisfied enough to plan on making it a daily juice stop. Switched it up today and ordered their coconut blend. My 16 oz cup had about 10 oz in it. When I asked the cashier why my drink was short she told me I should have picked a bigger coconut. What? I told her she didn't give me the option to choose my coconut, but that shouldn't make a difference because they sell juice by the ounce, not the coconut. She told me that I now know for next time. I told her there would not be a next time. Go to Organic Avenue, it's a block south and though it may cost a little more, the quality is better, the pour consistent and the staff friendlier. read more

It's surprisingly hard to find smoothie places in the city so I was glad to find this place... but I got the Green Queen and it had too much peanut butter in it. It left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I had to throw it out after drinking a quarter of it. I wish I got the simpler smoothie instead and added acai to it, I would've gotten more value for what I paid. The prices are really high for juice but I knew that going in. What really pissed me off was it was my first time here and in trying to get the straw into the glass it spilled all over me and ruined my shirt and during this whole time the counter person is just looking at me and says yes that happens to everyone, well if it happens to everyone why not warn me and not just look at me while i do it esp. after I told you its my first time here. Trekked all the way here from Midtown west because I was hit with a massive craving for bubble tea and it was worth it! Got the Taro bubble tea and it was good a bit on the sweet side but perhaps they have unsweetened versions ( I will ask for this next time if so). Also I docked one star because the it was slightly warm (don't think they added ice) when I asked for a cold tea. Other than that it was delicious, especially the bubbles! Today I got a green smoothie from Juicy cube. I was def satisfied. You can see all the fruits and veggies are made fresh and they make it however it is you want it. I asked for a banana, orange, mango, spinich, and cucumber juice and it tasted so good. I'll keep going there to try more of the items they have on their menu. Best juice place in NY. Extremely clean and very nice personnel. Highly recommend it. Love the entire menu!

My only complaint is that, even though I never see less than 5 people working behind the counter during morning rush hour, they always have only ONE person making the juice/smoothies for the customers who are actually standing and waiting in the store so it takes forever to get out of there. That said, the smoothies are great, the staff is very polite/friendly and I LOVE that the lids are vacuum sealed so I can throw it in my bag and go. Wish I could go here every morning but when I don't have an extra 10-15 minutes to get to work I just walk down the street to Health King instead. read more
