So, the first time I ate here, I picked up the food for delivery. But I went back on my birthday, February 21st and dined in with a one of my besties. One of the hostesses was just so sweet, I believe her name was Monica, bad memory. I intended to do my review that night, but got really busy due to a family emergency. It was on a Saturday and they were jumping, but the wait wasn't too bad. The food was so good, yet again, even better than I remembered from the first time. Tip: Make reservations! Our wait time was about 30 minutes but shorter than expected during our checkin at with the hostess on Friday evening at 6:15p. Our hostess was just lovely! She greeted me with a beautiful smile. I explained that we had 7 in our party but we could expand to 8. One person was tenantive due to traffic delays. Our hostess said it was not a problem and could easily pull up another chair! We were all smiles. Tasty seafood! My daughter and nieces ordered the $40 weekend special seafood boil bag. Seafood, Extra hot with all the spices and seasonings requested. Daughter always requests a $3 side of rice to which she dumps the remaining rice in the bag to absorb the seasoning when she finishes the seafood! Genius, right?! This was my 1st time here & it was cool. Everywhere that has fried calamari, I get but theirs was a bit tough. The seafood boil I got was so fresh & full of flavor, everything was so delicious. The food was good, the vibe was great. The staff was nice, there was some confusion on the gratuity at the door Vs what the waitress told us but it was fine. The location in Dallas off of 20 always caused digestive issues, so I was afraid to go to this location but I was perfectly fine after eating here. They had the big screens showing the game, so it was all good. Their drinks were amazing and hit the spot. Initially tried this establishment a few months back In Dallas and wasn't that pleased. Had a craving for some seafood and really didn't want to drive too far out to get some. So we decided to try the new location in Cedar Hill. OMG, It was soooo yummy . Everything was so fresh and the prices were very reasonable. What I love the most about this place is the flexibility of their menu . They offer half pounds on majority of their items allowing you to create the perfect seafood boil mix. They also have a great special for everyday of the week. It's a really nice location, With a lot of seating so I definitely see this being a great place to have a group dinner or birthday celebration. The food came out really fast , hot and fresh . This is my first time patronizing this establishment and I could say it was probably average or below average. I ordered the weekend special that came with a lobster half a pound of shrimp half a pint of sausage was added and corn and potatoes, but I did not get the potatoes. I don't like potatoes in a seafood bowl. The flavor that I got was garlic butter hot. The food was just average or even below average the hot attitude to the garlic butter distorts the flavor of the garlic butter and turns it into something awful. This is the first seafood bowl I've had where there was lime in the seafood bowl, which changed the flavor drastically. The sausage was not flavorful at all. Ordered strawberry margarita and a mango watermelon margarita and the strawberry tasted sour. We asked to get the strawberry exchange for another drink and when the waitress went to try and get it changed out the manager (Haley) refused and we had to wait over 20 mins for her to even come to our table to speak to us. She argued with us at our table in front of our food and everyone there while also spitting over our food. The drink had been gone from our table for over 20 mins. She refused to replace it, wouldn't leave our table so we could eat and refused to take it off the bill even though we did not have the drink nor did we drink it. If it weren't for Nyah our waitress the experience would be less than 1 star for me. Please give her a raise or get rid of the manager Haley as Haley was trying to make Nyah do her manager duties instead of providing customer service. read more

My mom and I had to move our own food to another area--unbelievable. The worst part? Not a single apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. If this is considered normal here, that's beyond unacceptable. I've heard good things about Juicy Seafood. There was not a wait in line and seating was readily available. We placed our orders quickly and our waiter/server was attentive and helpful. The food ordered was chicken wings, oysters, shrimp(no head), snow crabs, potatoes, corn, eggs, & sausage. I ordered the garlic butter seasoning. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be delivered. I enjoyed my seafood boil... everything ( crabs, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, & eggs) was well seasoned..not too salty and the portion was sufficient for 2 people. Everything that came out--the fries, the shrimp--looked and tasted like it was purchased at a big box store and reheated. The cocktail sauce came in a packet container--they don't even make this in-house...at a seafood restaurant. There's a tacky no-refund policy prominently displayed on the menu, and I am guessing it's because many folks would rather have their money back than eat what's served here. Terrible and a scam. The menu says no refunds and for a reason. The food was terrible, crab meat stuck to the shell, no seasoning, the corn was hard, the sausage was gross...the only thing decent was my shrimp and I say decent because it was just that. The cook aka the owner said that I could not exchange my food out for a full catfish meal though I still had to pay full price of the Wednesday special because they could not reuse the food. How is that an excuse for someone patronizing your business? In return for "free" I would've received 2 catfish and fries. Whenever I argued that that was crazy and asked if I could speak with the manager, they then involved the bartender because the manager was not there and the cook aka the owner did not want to come out. After the bartender pleaded with the cook, I then was told that due to me eating 1 1/2 legs of my crab (literally 1 skinny leg and a half of another skinny leg) and two shrimp, I had to pay $18.00 for my food. Which was $10.00 off of my food. I did NOT care for a discount of a refund and would've happily paid my $29 for a $14 catfish plate, but instead I was only discounted $10.
