    Rats with mites

    Their animals are mites / ticks carriers. I am treating from scabies that I got from rats purchased at Jules Pet shop. Just found a previous review from here stating that their snakes also have mites, so I guess birds and other animals do as well. Their animals are in very tight enclosures and some of them are not looking good. When you are appealed by the cheap price of an animal, think about how much money you will spend on your treatment to compensate the "good deal".

    Adopted a baby ball python and received nothing but sage advice, support, and jovial love from the staff, Dave especially. He is eager to answer any and all questions, super helpful, and very kind in general. We appreciate his hard work and passion for what he does. The mom-and-pop exceptional concern for customers is a unique gift.

    We bought our red eye tree frog from here a little over a month ago and we couldn't be happier. Sushi as we named it has definitely grown on the whole family. We've had no issues since we bought her home. And she's been a prolific eater since day one. Crickets don't last more then two minutes in the terrarium with her. Everyone at Jules was very nice, very helpful and willing to share knowledge. Thank you on behalf of my family. We're definitely looking at upgrading terrarium size in the future possibly adding another red eye but when we do we will be shopping at Jules!

    So i had bought a ball python from this store. And let me tell you it was the worst decision of my life. The poor thing had mites to the point it was anemic, underweight, and has just been a costly issue all the way around. All the snakes have mites. Which means everything in that store is probably a carrier. I now drive 30 min to get rats for my snakes instead of going to this place because i refuse to give their incompetent business anymore of my money

    I just bought a hamster here on Sunday, I was so excited and happy. He seemed a bit small, but healthy. He died today.. had a great cage set up and food. I think he had a disease..

    Absolutely shocking how this place has not been shut down. Birds are crammed together in strange containers like at a grocery store. Filthy conditions and obviously the birds are stressed and unhappy as most of them have plucked their feathers. Mice and small animals look dirty. Large reptiles stuffed in shoebox size container barely bigger than him. Owners and staff were extremely abrasive when confronted about the appalling conditions these poor animals are trapped in. Don't support this cruelty.

    Poor Savannah Monitor looked dead. No hides in the cage with 3 savannah monitors.

    Great fish. Their tanks are clean and well kept. Good variety of freshwater fish. Helpful. LOTS of different animals everywhere.

    I finally decided to give Petco another chance for a grooming appointment for my 7lb dog after…read morebeing cancelled on four separate time. yes, four times! and always on the day of the appointment. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a terrible decision. When I picked up my dog after his grooming appointment, I noticed nothing unusual at first. However, later that day, I saw him licking his paw non stop. Upon closer inspection, I was horrified to find an injury with visible redness between his tiny toes. Petco never mentioned anything about hurting my dog, which made their lack of transparency even more appalling. I called them the next day (as it was late when I discovered the injury) and was told the manager wasn't available. The employee I spoke with said they'd need to contact upper management to determine what to do. A day went by before I got a call back, only to be told the same thing. I informed them I was traveling to Vegas, and they promised to let me know which vet I could take my dog to. The condition was that if the vet determined the injury was Petco's fault, they would cover the costs. If not, they wouldn't do anything--not even offer a refund for the grooming service. To make matters worse, they never called me back as promised. I disputed the charge with my bank, and now Petco is fighting the dispute, knowing full well they hurt my dog. This is not just poor service--it's outright negligence. I will find the appropriate channels to hold Petco accountable because this treatment is unacceptable. Our pets deserve better care, honesty, and respect.

Instead, he received a call that a pitbull had broken loose from its kennel and jumped into Marshy's kennel and attacked him. My dog sustained a neck wound and had to be rushed to the emergency veterinarian for treatment. After an emergency vet visit, tears, and a lot of shock, I brought my dog hurt, with a hole in his neck ungroomed. He sat in a kennel for 1 hr and 30 min before being attacked. Now he is recovering, but the hole in his neck keeps breaking open. I should not have to be dealing with this! No pet owner should have to go through this after leaving their dog somewhere they believed was safe. I'm heartbroken, shaken, and honestly very angry! I didn't get a call from the store manager to check on my dog. They didn't give a damn. PetSmart covered the initial vet bill, I have not been given a clear explanation of how this incident occurred. The store manager stated that there were scratches on the divider but could not explain how one dog was able to access another kennel. This raises serious concerns about facility safety and supervision. Don't take your dog to this shit hole or any petsmart for that matter.

I brought my golden retriever in for the full package: ear cleaning, nail trim, bath, and groom. If you have a golden, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. The haircut alone was the worst I've ever seen, but the bigger issue is that they simply didn't do the services I paid for. When I picked her up and walked her around the store for treats, I realized she smelled worse than when I dropped her off. Her ears were still full of wax, her nails hadn't been trimmed, her coat felt dirty, and the grooming itself was shockingly uneven. I bathe my dog weekly, so she is never in that condition, and I initially assumed maybe they'd forgotten to rinse a product or had used a shampoo with a funky smell. I went back into the salon and asked if she had been bathed. The employee flatly said yes. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and asked to smell the shampoo they used, thinking maybe the scent had changed, but it clearly didn't match what was on my dog. When I asked again, three employees came out and responded with condescending, dismissive attitudes. Their red-haired manager rolled his eyes before walking me over for a refund. For the record, I wasn't even looking for a refund, it was a gift card. I just wanted to understand how a grooming appointment could go so wrong. When I got home and bathed her myself, the water ran nearly black, something that has never happened before. Her paw pads had been shaved unevenly, her coat was damaged, and the professional groomer who corrected it asked if a toddler with scissors had gotten to her. I contacted corporate at the time and never heard back. I have never once left a negative reviews for any business ever, but when it comes to my dog, I will absolutely speak up. Please don't take your pets here.

Disgusting. The staff at the PetsHotel are friendly. Getting info about my pets stay always seems to be the same scripted answer. I've noticed each time I arrive to pick up my pet no one is out front, there is no bell to alert that you're waiting so you're just standing hoping someone will notice you. Calling to check on your pet is hit or miss. I don't like that I've never seen the facilities where my pet is housed. No tour. No cameras. I'll be looking for other options in the area.
