While there pizza is very good, their customer service/employees are rude and unprofessional. I ordered a large plain pizza on the phone, walked in, was told I would be helped after they were done with the current customer and then they left and went to help another customer. Great pizza, usually very attentive staff. This last time I went in it took 5 minutes for any staff member to even acknowledge my presence. They then went in the back and did not come back out until another employee went to get them. That night the staff consisted of irresponsible teenagers and one manager who couldn't do everyone's job. My family and I went there this past Sunday. We ordered our pizza from a nice girl, I think maybe her name was Danielle. Then we go to find seating. We went outside since it was a nice day, but we had to clean our table before sitting. (One star lost). We decided to go back inside since it was a little too cool outside. We came back in and our pizza was ready. At the time of ordering, I asked to have one slice cut into bite sized pieces for my toddler. It wasn't done, but when I reminded, it was done. It wasn't that busy in there when we arrived and ordered. The water fountains they have placed all around the dining room - some were empty. I might go back. The pizza wasn't bad, not amazing but I know it will taste good. It was more of an appetizer pizza in my opinion but it hit the spot. read more

Props to Jules for vegan and gluten free options. It is fabulous that they use local organic ingredients and an impressive array of toppings. However, my praise ends there. Everytime I have visited I have been underwhelmed. Most recently I placed an order for a kids pie online. I stood at the counter unacknowledged for quite a bit while several workers waited on counter orders. I don't mind waiting but acknowledge me please. Plus, it wasn't overwhelmingly busy. It wasn't even 5 pm yet! After paying for my $15 pizza, I continued to wait another 10 minutes for my order. This brought my total wait time to almost 40 minutes! The pizza crust was chewy and kind of stale, not crisp and fresh. It was almost room temperature (had to sneak a bite bc I was starving) which leads me to believe it was siting there for awhile while I waited. The sauce was good but the cheese was super salty. In addition, I bought a treat for my kids- a grain exchange brownie for a whopping 4 dollars! This was one of many bad experiences here. Once I ordered a vegan pizza excited because they use Daiya cheese. They actually made me a pizza with moldy cheese! They made me another pizza without cheese, and gave me a credit, but how gross is that! There is one male manager who is very nice and friendly, however the rest of the workers seem to act as if they are doing you a favor. In summary, if you want to make yourself feel better by patronizing a place that advertises as being local and organic, great but don't accept freshness or timely service with a smile either. Been craving pizza for days... Tuesday 9/4/12 First stop: (Adrianna's Little Italy, Wrightstown~CLOSED~really?! wth) So I Yelped and located nearest with decent rating (Marco's Pizzeria 2102 S. Eagle Rd. Newtown~DID IT BURN DOWN?~found #2102, but it wasn't there) an FYI fellow Yelpers... Across the street we found- (Meglio Pizzeria 25 Swamp Rd. Newtown~FIRE OVEN Pizza that was soggy) The sauce was good, but pizza pie was small :( Still not quite satisfied of the pizza craving, we Yelped again and hit Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Newtown....Ahhh, how refreshing. It was open, with great service and it was tasty. Although I'm not a fan of reheat-pizza it was crispy and delicious AND organic. Wow! I will definitely go there again and order a fresh made pie. I LOVE pizza! After 4 years in the Las Vegas desert, without a decent pizza to be found anywhere I am glad to be amongst the east coast popularity of pizza joints, but I'm also picky. ;-) so....good luck to you. Jules has the best pizza. It's light thing crust and comes in so many healthy varieties. I don't feel guilty eating there once a week. My favorite slices are the Brooklyn (tasty garlic), buffalo chicken, ricotta spinach, butternut squash, mushroom, or eggplant. Every slice is truly divine. Service is quick. Seating indoor or outdoors is great. Parking can be tough in the lot. I recommend parking on the street and crossing over. Their cookie desserts are different and tasty. I like that they support local vendors and farmers. I don't have a single complaint about this joint and have been going weekly since 2009. read more

The gluten free pizza from Jules is fantastic. It is one of the firstgluten free pizzas I have tried that is not too sweet. The ingrediants they use are fresh and I have not had a bad pie yet. The prices are high and I do not like having to pay a surcharge for getting gluten free but I will keep going back. The only reason I cannot give them five stars is because they are horrible when it comes to customer service. At first I thought it was just me they ignore but the last two times I have been in I have witnessed other customers upset with the service. So the pizza is great just expect to wait! read more

I have to admit I wasn't prepared for such a thin and light pizza and they were not filling so 3-4 slices would be more appropriate next time. The best place around for gluten free people. Their gluten free pizza is actually TASTY! Their regular pizzas are eclectic and have great ingredients - although many of them just don't do it for me. Sometimes it's the overly sweetness of the caramelized onions (which are on SO MANY pizzas) or the fruit toppings that are too heavy for a thing crust, but I end up many nights shrugging and saying, "that was ok. I will try something else next time." Due to the GF friendliness though, we will remain loyal customers. read more

Excellent thin crest pizza. This is a true thin crust. Wide selection of topping to suit every taste. Service is quick. The checkout line can be a bit disorganized, particularly when picking up take out orders. Also, they always tell you 20 minutes for take out, but it's always 5-10 minutes less than that, and by the time you bring the pizza home, it is usually cold and not as crunchy. Jules pizza offers extremely thin crust pizza with extremely interesting specialty toppings. You won't find a lot of sauce on these pizzas but you can find lots of other interesting things like aloo-gobi indian pie; edamame and ricotta cheese; brie and sliced pears. I don't have the science to back this up but it seems to me that the relatively thin size of the pizza makes it cool down a little faster (heat transfer to surface area issue?). We took a couple of pies home and it was already pretty cool by the time we dug in. Might be better to eat it here right out of the oven to get the true experience. It is nice that they offer gluten-free crust (in addition to standard and whole wheat) and it's probably healthier for one to go thin crust but it also takes away from the pizza experience. Good pizza deserves good sauce (not here) and shouldn't need to be covered by all kinds of fancy stuff. Jules Thin Crust is more of a place to see some experiments in toppings than good execution. Nice idea but it's giving you something very different than your typical pizza so make sure you know what you're getting into. read more

I went with my older parents and toddler on a rainy weekday during the lunch hour. I feel I was a bit unfairly a bit difficult, though I was frazzled. After we ordered, I noticed there seemed to be no available seats or high chairs. The counter person was really kind and accommodating, clearing off a table as soon as one was available a few minutes later, with high chair. The pizza was delicious. This is not "regular" pizza, but high-end organic (great ideals) specialty pizza. My dad was less than thrilled by this, but my mom and I enjoyed it. There were many choices, and it was difficult to decide. I did feel hungry after 2 slices, though, and was disappointed to see they only seemed to carry gluten-free cookies and treats. I just wanted a regular ol' cookie! I would recommend if you like fancy pizza. It did take me back to my CA days. read more

A slice of pizza is tiny, and it's pretty expensive if you want to leave feeling full. I wasn't a fan of the thin crust, and because of the rectangular pizza, I feel that there's less crust per slice, but the crust is my favorite part. Not bad, but not somewhere I'd visit again. read more

A fun pizza experience. You have to like thin crust certainly and also be willing to go a little outside the normal pizza spectrum to like this place. But if you do, you'll did some great flavor combinations and lots of interesting pizza choices. I just had their local summer squash pizza for the second time - this time with the flowers on it, and I think I'm in love. Honestly, this is the best pizza around bar none. I find myself craving Jules when I want Pizza. Using local ingredients is a great way to go, and organic helps too. Their salads are really fresh and tasty too. We live in Princeton, NJ so where ever we are we order it from, Doylestown and Newtown, PA and Marlton, NJ. Now that it is spring Doylestown and Marlton locations will not make us the Winter Potato pizza. They want us to get the spring winter pizza that has meat on it and we are vegetarians. They won't accommodate us even though they have all the ingredients. EVERY TIME we order from Newtown, Jake fills our order and never questions it! read more
