This is only my 3rd visit to this chain. The first time was either off or I ordered wrong for my liking. That was one in Spokane. The 2nd in Couer d Alene, Idaho and here in Puyallup I found the food to be hot, fresh and flavorful. And the prices with the freshness and size of burritos are fair. Sorry but I do have to say my favorite fajita burrito is on 85th in Seattle at Gordito's. But Julanito's is more accessible and good too. read more

I love visiting this place. The portions of most of theur food are big. The orders have not once been wrong and I love that they have a drive-thru. This place has about the best quesadillas in town. They are extra large too and they are not greedy with the meat. If you get a carne asada or chicken quesadilla, best belief you will enjoy it. The tacos are to die for, we get cravings of it, thats how good they are. They are pretty authentic and me having lived in Mexico for a couple of years I can tell you do taste like the street tacos in Mex. The tortas are also delicious, pretty big size amd the bread is always so soft and tasty. I totally recommens this place. We have also sat inside the restaurant to eat and the place was cleaned, had a T.V and it was spacious. Meh. That's what I have to say about our dinner from Julianito's... just meh. I ordered the veggie bowl with no cheese or sour cream. What I envisioned was what the menu described: rice and beans with fresh chopped veggies on top. What I got was a bowl of sludge. It was literally so soupy that it required a spoon to eat. Super disappointing, especially because a veggie bowl should be pretty darn simple. Why did you have to complicate it, Julianito? I asked my boyfriend what he thought of his cheese enchiladas. "They're ok... just ok." His meal's portions seemed smaller in comparison to a typical Mexican joint (where they bring out food on monstrous platters). We also ordered some chips and salsa. Chips were good, salsa was hot as all hell. And listen -- I like a little spice in my life. But this was "take a bite of salsa... gulp a mouthful of water... take a bite of salsa... gulp a mouthful of water". I can't imagine a 0 or 1 Star person being able to handle that salsa. So yeah. Again -- meh. We ordered via the drive thru so maybe my expectations were too high.
