    Meat & bean burrito
    Kaylynn M.

Pretty darn good meat and bean burrito! I still haven't found what I'm dying to find in GR when it comes to a wet burrito but this is probably the closest so far. Bonus they do $8 burritos on Thursdays.

I was lucky to be there for $8 Wet Burrito Thursday. The people and the food were perfect. I really appreciated all of it. Thanks

Let me tell you, I spent 4 years in Grand Rapids for college and when I came back here for a…read morewedding, I told my wife, don't get Mexican food here, its awful. Well after a week, she was craving Mexican food and researched this place & showed me the reviews and I thought maybe things had changed since I left. Things have not. The salsa here is tomato juice, there isn't a hint of spice. The chips seem like they went down to Mejier and got them on sale. They managed to get my son's carne asada taco wrong, my wife ordered the floutas/taquitos (whatever they have) and for the first time in my life I saw her not finish them. My tacos weren't worth the money and I went in with LOW expectations. I'm bumping this up 1 star b/c they are probably good for Grand Rapids Mexican Food. FOR ALL OUT OF STATE CUSTOMERS - especially those from Texas/Colorado/New Mex/Arizona/California and the West Coast... don't get Mexican food in the Mid West, just wait till you get home.

Inside it's clean and looks like a typical Mexican restaurant with some added neon signs and accents. The place had a decent crowd. Probably around 16 or so people eating. Sat me in a booth. Brought me chips and salsa immediately. Chips were good salsa was good. Smooth and not any heat so majority would like it. Server came over and got my drink order and I asked him about a few dishes on the menu. He was very nice and answered all my questions. Menu is large and they have lots of the usual fare and choices. I couldn't decide and he helped me narrow it down. I got the chicken chimichangas. They came super fast and hot. 2 small chimichangas with a sauce, refried beans, a small scoop of quac, sour cream, and tomatoes. Really small. Like not enough to evenly distribute to the chimichangas. And the quac was dark like it had been exposed to air for a bit. Taste was OK all around. It was decent. Nothing spectacular but OK. I ate it and it was filling. If you have a large appetite you may want to get something else. Overall it's just OK. Probably try someplace else next time.

Service was quick, efficient, and everything came out to order. The food was good. We tried a protein bowl, a couple tacos, and a three buds dip trio. The Street Corn dip is amazing, but neither of us were fans of the dirty queso. There was a single piece of chicken in it, which was huge, just not super scoopable! Tacos were delicious. It's already summer at Condado, which also means $6 frozen margs! Of course, I had to indulge and the prickly pear lavender single-handedly will get me back to Condado all summer. My fiancé was eager to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs, so we were delighted to see that there were screens playing popular events and a couple shows to enjoy over dinner. This is a great mix between your typical bar & (non-authentic but tasty) Mexican cuisine.

Unfortunately, my experience with Constado Tacos was extremely disappointing. I ordered through…read moreDoorDash and was honestly shocked when my food arrived. The presentation was very poor and looked rushed and unappetizing. For a restaurant that specializes in tacos, I expected the food to at least look fresh, well-prepared, and properly assembled. The biggest issue was the amount of meat in the tacos--or lack thereof. There was barely any meat at all. The tacos were mostly tortilla and toppings, which made the meal feel extremely skimpy for what I paid. I understand that portions can vary, but this was far below what I would consider a reasonable serving. I should not have to search through the toppings just to find the meat. The overall quality and presentation simply did not match the price. When you order from a restaurant, especially through a delivery service, you still expect your food to arrive looking like something you would be proud to eat. Unfortunately, this order did not give me that experience. I was really hoping to enjoy Constado Tacos, but based on this experience, I would not recommend it and I personally would not order from here again. Hopefully, the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously and improves the portion sizes, presentation, and overall quality of their delivery orders.
