She told me that Julie worked independently from the Chiropractor office (the sign outside the building said "SCHWARTZ CHIROPRACTIC") I asked her if I could have Julie's correct number. She told me she was busy and asked me to come back 45 minutes later or I could wait for her in the lobby. I said I waited. About 50 minutes after that Julie came to the front office and greeted me. She took me to her massage room and asked me to pay $30 for one hour. I gave her 2 twenty dollar bills and said that she could keep the change. Julie said "no thank you, I don't take tips" and she gave me $10 back. I thought she was strange. After that Julie asked me to undress and lay down on her massage table. She did a good job on my sored back. She used her elbows to give me deep tissue on my back, then she massage my legs with medium strokes. Then she cracked my neck skillfully. I'm a regular customer of Julie. She is a petite Vietnamese lady who has been working in this location 504 South Brookhurst for a long time. The sign outside this building is SCHWARTZ CHIROPRACTIC because the building belongs to some chiropractor; Julie rents a room in this building to work independently - a kind of independent contractor. Julie is honest and serious. She likes to have the kind of clients who are on time and well-behaved. She told me the first time I came to see her that if I was good and well-behaved, I could come back to see her again for a good massage. She is unusual because she always refuses the tips from me. I asked her why she didn't want to take the tips, she said "just pay me 30 bucks for a good massage and you don't have to worry about the tips and don't ask me why". She is tough but not greedy like many other massage therapists. I keep coming back to see her because she always gives me the best massage and extra time too! I think she can charge 60 dollars for an hour of good massage, but she charges only half of that price! There was one day I was late for my appointment with her. She got mad at me and said some bad words at me while she gave me massage. I said I was sorry. Few hours after that when I was in my office, Julie called me and said that she regretted what she had said to me and asked me to forgive her. How sweet!
