Like all the other Asian massage places in the area, I have to admit, this one was pretty good. I usually ask for deep tissue because I have a lot of knots to get rid of. This place gave me consistent pressure all throughout my treatment--the kind that leaves you sore for a day or two after; the kind that makes you feel like you got your moneys worth! I have to repeat, this is an Asian massage place so don't expect much. My masseuse had her cell phone next to my head for the entire duration of my massage. It rang a couple of times and startled me. She seemed like the owner and the one in charge of the business calls, so she needed the phone close by. She also left me to answer the front door numerous times whenever there was a new customer in the front. This took away time from my hour long massage which irritated me. She also took many trips to the back to get hot towels, remove the hot towels, get water for my foot bath, and remove the water for my foot bath. But for $20, you can't expect much. Beware of the hot towels. My masseuse didn't bother airing the hot towel she got from the back before she placed it on my back. It was so hot, I popped up to get it off my back. Her response was "It's okay" and hustled me to get back onto the flatbed face-down. Once again, you're only paying $20 for an hour long massage so you can't expect much. If you're looking for relaxation here, you won't get it. The masseuses like to talk to each other in Mandarin while they are working on you. Would I come again? A friend and got there at about 10:15 on a friday moning and there was noone else there, but i think the lady was not expecting anyone so she had to call a guy to come in for me (now that look back on it, i think it was more like she called in a favor or a bribe) Now mind you, before i continue, i am a rather large woman (of bavarian decent), so i must look like a water buffalo to them. Despite just losing 20# in 1 month, i know i have a ways still to go...i say this now so you can factor it in if you choose to read on... I have been coming here off and on for years, and this newest incarnation is different to me. Clean, yes. Professional, yes. Priced right, yes. I budgeted 10$ for tip, so i didnt have a funky exit... THIS WAS BY FAR THE HARDEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED IN MY LIFE, and im pretty content with it so far...i like it very hard, and this was that and more...i did have to ask him to lighten up several times, but i think there is a cultural roadblock there...where you and i might sense another person wincing or even hear the words "lighter please" or feel a tap, you would (hopefully) lighten the pressure in response...rather, there was about a 30 second reprise, then right back to it... Again, not upset, but i will probably be bruised tomorrow. Today i took a ton of vitamins and about doubled my already high water intake+1 tylenol. I think ill be ok, but i wanted to review this rigorously for the rest of the furture patrons My friend had a woman masseuse and told that it was really rough at the beginning then after she requested "lighter please", there were no other issues for her (all the while im grunting and doing lamaaze breathing right next to her)... I have gone to many different kinds of foot reflexology massage locations AND THIS LOCATION has my favorite massage giver. (NOT gonna name MY SPECIAL person, secret ;b) This person has been the best one that I have experienced in all my years with reflexology/massage parlors. The English is very limited. You will have to utilize some body language, hehe. The place has cool temperature, slightly lit by the Chinese lanterns, has nice relaxing Chinese flute/string music playing in the background. You are given a small cup of tea at the end (a bit watered down, could be better.) Unlike some others that just have you seated, this place allows you to have a seat while you get your feet prepared and soaked in very warm water (mixed with some kind of herb, I believe.) Then you will be able to lie down on a small bed face up and later face down. I feel that this place is excellent with its one hour full body massage. For $15, you have your whole body, feet, hands, face, scalp (glute and piriformis, if you are comfortable) worked out. When I leave, I feel so much euphoria. My knots were deeply worked out, muscles thoroughly massaged. The next day, I get the heavy sore (only because I like deep strong pressure.) For me, heavy sore = EXCELLENT work! I literally get my muscle fibers re-straightened, lymphatics flushed, meridian system activated, extreme relief from any muscle pains, and great sleep. Be mindful that being sore the next day is NOT a bad thing. However, if you want softer pressure, YOU CAN tell them. Some people do not tip and I find that very cheap. Just be kind and remember to tip for their outstanding service. I always add $5. read more

I've been to several other places for foot massage and this by far is the roughest ever! I repeatedly asked the guy to be gentle but either he didn't understand what I said or he just can't be gentle. The next day my body started to ache a little bit. The place is not that clean or nice looking inside. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I went with two other people and they both said their massages were ok. And because the people that work there were actually very nice. But will I go back? probably not. There are many other nicer and better places around. read more

Terrible! Guy was looking texting/ looking at his PHONE!!!!! It started out well with perfect pressure on my shoulders. Come to my feet.. I noticed he was rolling a ball on the sole of my feet with pressure fluctuating. I thought it was weird for him to not use his hand- but whatever. At times he would even pause. I thought maybe he was falling asleep, so I looked up and saw him on his damn phone. He didn't even realize it was wrong. He just looked at me with a stupid blank look on his face. He spent easily 20-30 min on my feet I think, because I'm just judging based on his much attention he put to every other location. First time here and I thought I'd give it a chance. I took my daughter to get us a massage at Angel foot massage, it was great. I was in so much back pain - Kevin and Steven took us in immediately. The staff is very nice. I will go back next week. You cannot beat the $15/hour rate. The only difference of this place to others I've been to, they have no private rooms and the beds are kind of close to each other. I don't mind that. The place looks clean. Parking is full on weekends, but you will still find a place. Make sure you are in-and-out within an hour or you will get a parking citation. I've been to several Asian countries and love the people. The shopping mall has plenty to offer. read more

What a wonderful massage! I felt the effects two days later which was so nice! We walked in when we were waiting for our table at Seafood Cove #2. They were able to take the three of us back for our hour massage. We weren't given much direction on what to do so that's why I docked 1/2 star. Once we were ready, we were able to start the massage. Our feet were put into tubs of hot water and you easily forget that you are in a room with others. Once you get on the table, you get some hot stone action! The pressure was perfect. After the hour was up, you pay up front. It was $20 as of this writing. Another 1/2 star off for chattering patrons. There was a group of elderly folks waiting to get massaged and they talked very loudly outside (the door was open to let in air). I find this extremely rude especially after being told to be quiet by the owners. read more

Came and brought my mom along with me. I got my massage that went well. However, when my mom got out of her massage she was upset. Come to find out the woman who was massaging her was on her phone! What was supposed to be a relaxing time became an irritating time for her. And NEITHER OF US got the free hot stone they advertise. I'm only giving three stars because the man that massages me did a good job. But to find out that they allow that type of behavior is extremely disappointing. We will not be back. read more

$15 per hour!!!!!!!!! Should I even keep going with the review? I like a very firm, deep tissue massage, so this place was perfect for me. If it's something you're not use to, I really DON'T recommend this place then, cause this style will bruise you. The massage starts with a hot water foot soak, then neck and shoulders while sitting up. Afterwards, the water is removed and you lay on your back. You get your head, face, shoulders massaged, followed by your arms, legs, then feet. You feet are then rubbed and the stretched (various depending on massage therapist). Lastly you flip over on your stomach and your back and butt is massaged! She kept up with her firm, deep tissue the whole hour!!! Tipped her $15, because it was worth may more than $30! read more

If i could give zero stars i would've but today my mom finally told me what happened at this placed and I'm horrified. This used to be a usual place my parents would drop by when they visit Los Angeles but two days ago when they went manger and staff has changed. There was only two people an asian lady and a mexican man in his 40-50's. My mom came in for a leg massage and the man was the one to work on her. He was not only rude by constantly asking for my mom to switch over to a full body massage but when started to massage her leg he kept spreading it wide open even though she tried to close her leg multiple times. THEN when he couldn't properly massage ( still trying to convince her to switch to full body) she told him to just massage her left arm only for the remaining time. He told her he needed to massage from the side of her chest all the way down to her arm. Even after her telling him only to massage from the elbow down. HE PROCEEDED TO MASSAGE ALL THE WAY UP TO HER SHOULDER DOWN TO HER CHEST AND TOUCHED HER INAPPROPRIATELY. She stopped it there and he knew what he did wrong! He ran to the back and stayed there the whole time without coming back out and when my dad went back in to talk to the lady nothing could've been done because she only spoke chinese. DO NOT GO HERE. The lady was nice and did a decent job BUT the guy employee sexually harassed my mom. If any women gets him please stop him from even starting change or leave. I don't even know how to feel knowing that he is still working there and how many others people he have done this too. FIRE HIM. This is unacceptable! You can not beat the cost of an hour foot and body therapy for 15.00. This place is quite, clean, legitimate, nice and very, very good.I have been coming here for three years. Everytime I feel tight in the shoulders or my back I come here and get all fixed up. If you are a first timer at this, don't turn away. This is a must come and check the little diamond. The Cons: 1. I have painful bruises along my lower back after receiving a massage here earlier this afternoon. The woman doing my massage went extremely hard on the pressure. 2. Its difficult to communicate change in pressure etc. because the employees' understanding of english is limited. 3. I also dislike how the employees seem to speak behind customers' backs in Vietnamese, making jokes/complaining. The Pros: 1. The price is unbeatable 2. I found Angel Foot Massage on Yelp. The reviews are really good, so I thought I will give this place a try. When I first enter the place is really clean and professional.
