Friendly service, for the most part (one busser kept giving me the evil eye for some reason), in a pretty dining room that does not feel like a hotel restaurant. The patio has lovely views, but the details of the decor inside are equally pleasant. Happy hour struck us as a bit of a ripoff - drinks were fine but not knock-you-over and pricing was unsurprisingly warm. (Also, happy hour prices were not applied on a couple happy hour drinks.) The food was pretty remarkable, though: I know everyone carries on about the $20-without-a-side green chile cheeseburger, but don't let that distract you from the grown-up food on the menu. The pork belly I had was spectacular (and a value - wow, that was a lot of meat) and the smoked trout/beets and smashed avocado apps were a delight. Dessert was nice, too. And the food was pretty reasonably priced (these days) for the quality - our dinner at Juliette was special and we're looking forward to returning. read more

We rolled into town at 7pm. Never been to Taos. Concierge at hotel suggested a few places not our vibe and i started searching online and found Juliette. It was less than a mile from our hotel so we thought we would check it out. Service is friendly and attentive. Margarita was STRONG. The bread is a must order. The artichoke was delicious but a little small. Smashed avocado was good. Cucumber is a must order. We ordered the pork belly and the chicken thighs. Both were delicious. The pork belly was grilled and the salad and the cherry sauce were all perfectly balanced. The chicken thighs were incredible. The grits. The broth. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Taos. read more

Love the spicy crab cake, the spicy tastes like laoganma. Overall food is good. Service was really nice. Ambiance is great for hanging out and date night. The only negative I would say is one of the new plates we got on our table has food stain on it and looks like someone used it. The server was nice, apologized and exchanged it quickly. Hopefully it's not happening often. Will be back to try other food. read more

The food here was good but nothing really blew me away. It was sort of annoying that the burger was $20 but it didn't come with any side. Still it was yummy. I liked the radish and trout dish. The Lima beans were bland and could have used some salt or other seasoning. Service was good! read more

We arrived late in Taos and needed dinner - decided on Juliette's as most places were closed. Staff was amazing! We sat on the outdoor patio and our server made the night. We shared fresh cheese starter with a half order of bread - to die for! All of our food was delicious: chicken thighs with grits, cheese dumplings and the Juliette burger. Cocktails were delightful. Only regret - no room for desert! What a great start to our Taos adventure. Again wish I knew our servers name as she was outstanding. The grounds of the Willa Hotel are beautiful- walk through the doors and be ready for a surprise. Juliette is hiding inside the front doors and the outdoor seats provide a beautiful view. read more

Taos has a hip new bar and restaurant in a great boutique hotel The Willa. The vibes are great, buzzy, lots of locals and the food is elevated in a way you might find in a more metropolitan eatery. We're going back tonight to try some more dishes. Also we are staying at the hotel and it's very nice. read more

A smashing bartender, Keegan, friendly, helpful, informative and made a good Manhatten ($16), served up in a lovely glass. Just the bulleit rye available, a couple other choices might be nice, Old Overhold or Basil Hayden for me. Situated in the revamped Hotel Willa, we could have been in L.A if it was nt for the Kiva and Adobe. We sat at the bar, it was warm and cosy all round. The food looked great especially the green salad, what a massive bowl of light and fluffy lettuce and oh so finely shred parmasen. Just a short 5 minute walk from the Plaza. A final shoutout to Keegan again for answering our slew of questions while he was trying to work. No pretension here at all just great customer service. read more

Cute hotel restaurant. The seating area is nice but it is open to the lobby area limiting the upscale vibe. The description we read said French and you could see and taste the influence. The bean soup with greens was a hit as was the smoked trout with shaved watermelon radish. The chicken thighs were enjoyed as well. Service was very attentive. We came here a couple of times to check out the bar and unwind. The ambiance is both modern and romantic. Service is fantastic! They just opened a couple weeks ago so was expecting some growing pains but you would never know! They are so attentive and the drinks are fire I highly recommend their espresso martini, very refreshing. We also got the smashed avocado which was so flavorful! The hotel looks so clean and modern. Juliette is a beautiful new place to relish an evening with those you enjoy most. I had to ask if it was a remodel or new construction, because it's so unique with a unique vibe that is hard for me to nail down , modern southwest? . It's unique with tasteful details like , nichos with indirect lighting . The diamond plaster finish glows in the perfect low light . I'm starting with the space because it makes a great first impression . That feeling only improves as you linger. The pool area beckons . But it can wait , there are so many great offerings to sample first . The Siempre Marg is perfect, my friend loves the coffee drink and the old fashioned. We have been lucky enough to be close by and they stay open until 10pm, A luxury in Taos these days, so we have gone a handful of times in their short existence. I can safely say that I will always get the beef tallow fries to share whenever I go here. Belgium not France is the where the frieten rule , and thus place has perfected them . It's a 5 step and time consuming process to turn a fresh potato into that crisp exterior with moist creamy center . Warning ! You will get hooked on these. You will crave them. Also the burger will be impossible to best in the future so if you are not ready to have all other burgers relegated to less than this one, you better not order it. Also you can order it however you want. It's going to come out a perfect medium rare . It appears to be hand cut steak. A warm Tartare would be my first choice on how to consume this . It's not far off. The menu is slowly expanding . There were 4-5 things on it the first week , all stellar, the pickled , (and I'll guess local carrots )are a perfect counter point to the fries. A healthy palate cleanser. The lightest cheese dumplings in a broth were a vegetarian dream. We saw a ribeye on the menu and had an amazing crispy chicken thigh dish on our most recent this visit with the menu having around 10 choices . We also had the best fries yet . They were a bit darker and crispier and disappeared faster than normal. I want to thank the staff at Juliette for their loving attention to detail, and bringing into existence a wonderful new offering to enjoy in this special area of Taos. read more

Burger good but no veggies or pickles felt too rich. Lima beans boring. Tartare was just beef in chili oil no capers or cornichon. No onions, nothing. Not even served with crostini or chips to eat with. I will admit the French fry's were stand out, but the lemon aioli doesn't work. How? Blakes Lotta burger better. The menu can be described as interesting yet short in offerings.We enjoyed the outdoor seating at dinner and the excellent ambiance created by the accomplished Kevin Canon jazz trio.The wait staff was superb :friendly and professional .Parking was easy and location convenient. The room is tastefully decorated, the service is downhome and enjoyable, but the true gem of the place is the food that stand out in a town far bigger than the quirky backwater of Taos. I made a reservation in advance and the reservation asked if we have any allergies. I put allergy to all dairy (which was an option). We got there on time and were seated. The waitress ignored us for 15 minutes and then told us if no one came she would come back. Another 15 minutes before she came back and took our drinks order. We were ready to order food and I let her know that I have a dairy allergy. She responded with everything here has butter. I asked if the chicken could be made without butter. She went to the kitchen and came back and said No. I asked her what could I have. Her response "do you have epi pen level allergy." Seriously! Then she said she will have to have someone come talk to me. And she will not put in our drinks order in case they could not accommodate me. We waited for another 15 minutes. No one came. So we told her we're leaving. She just nodded and turned away. Not the worst possible service I have had, but it was close. Rude, unpleasant, and completely not helpful. Not coming back. To anyone with allergies, please know that they will not accommodated you. read more

Beautiful remodel of old motel. Food was very pricey. The lamb was mostly fat and bone with a few bites of meat. The hamburger was rare rather than medium and came bare--no dressings. You had to request mustard or mayonnaise or ketchup. My wine was delivered as I finished my meal. It was comped, but I would rather have had it with my meal. The prices on the menu were higher than we remembered from our perusal of the menu online. read more
