I had a good experience at Julio's Mexican grill. The food was good and the lunch specials were great! I got a lot of food for the price I stopped by Julio's on a weekday for lunch. I'm lucky I got there a bit early because it got packed quick!! Although I see why - the lunch deal was great. I got a chimichanga. It was so much food!! The flavor was ok, pretty one note, but that's what I ordered :) I liked the refried beans and chips + salsa. No complaints from me. Service was a bit slow - however our server noted that they were a bit understaffed. Bathroom and interior were all clean and nice. Plenty of parking Overall, good experience, no complaints

The food was delicious! I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were on point. My spouse ordered the tamales and there was nothing left on his plate. From the outside it looks small, but much bigger inside. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. However our waiter took a bit of time to take our order and it wasn't busy. However overall great food and would recommend if you're craving Mexican food!

Yassss! Finally found a decent Mexican restaurant in The W and Spring area. I had to pick up my orfer and to my surprise when I got home, I said jackpot!!! I found the spot! My burrito looked so good and huge. It had enchilada sauce, burrito and it was enormous. Just like how we like it back home in CA. I will definitely go back for more and to try other things. I'm a happy camper.

First time coming here and it was solid. I would highly recommend the flautas, they were delicious. Tacos and quesadillas were good as well. The only downside was the rice. It did not represent authentic Spanish rice or red rice to me. Services was good, friendly, and timely. I would recommend.

Decided to try more Mexican food tonight because well one can never get enough queso. Started with the large chili con queso with chorizo. Very cheesy. Not a lot of chorizo but enough. Chips that came with it were kinda chewy. But the complementary chips and salsa that come before the meal were crispy at least. Got the supreme ground beef burrito and the ground beef enchiladas which both tasted pretty identical except one had flour tortilla and the other corn. Same sauce on top etc. Obviously we should've thought harder about mixing it up a little. They were both ok. For desert we had to try the fried ice cream. Was pretty good. I don't think they deep fry the ice cream in batter like other places. It seemed to just be rolled in corn flakes and came in a deep fried sugar sprinkled cup. We saw a birthday and looks like the staff will dress up in Mario and Luigi outfits and come to your table to sing happy birthday. Pretty hilarious. Oh they have a kids menu and it says kids eat free sundays (see pic)

We went to this place after a soccer game so it was a party of 13! Took over an hour to get our food! Wouldn't say much about this since it was a lot of us but other people would get there and get their food super fast! Like really fast! But hey it's ok no biggie! Big party I understand. The service was good! Our server was on his A game! ! -We had a cheese ball jalapeño stuffed with shrimp! It was good it needs more shrimp - my son liked the torta de fajita - my enchilada expert my daughter didn't like them she didn't finish them- I wasn't a fan of them either- green enchiladas 3/10 Carne asada fries- 7/10 they were good! But please don't add lettuce- lettuce does not go in pico! Lettuce doesn't go in carne asada fries! Tacos de birria 2/10: the consume was not good! The tacos were not good at all! The meat needs to be better quality- carne de deshebrada is not for birria!!! The service was really good and everyone was nice! The reason for the 3 stars not 2 is because of the drinks !! The drinks were good !! This place is a 2.5/5

I stopped here for a quick meal with my daughter. As you can see, we only ordered 3 items which totaled $18.37 and I left an even $4 tip. However, as you can see once I checked my transactions, they had changed my tip and my total was $37.07. I called back 2 days later and the same person who waited on us, answered the phone. She obviously remembered me and says it wasn't on purpose, it was an accident. I guess it's easy to add an extra $14.70 tip to the even $4 I left. I informed her I wanted to speak to the general manager, and she provided me the phone number. I will not be returning to this location at all, the service was ok but the fact that they are so untrust worthy has ruined any chance for me going back. Plus, the outside and the restrooms needed a hard clean. Check your final receipt

Recently tried the Spring location, and not long after got to try this Woodlands location. I was super happy because this location has Mole enchiladas on their menu. Anytime I can find these I have to order them. Of course we had to start with margaritas and I got a frozen peach margarita that came with a gummy worm in it. Not sure if that's always how they serve them, but I thought it was cute. We ordered Queso to start with as well which was extremely thick and a little hard to stir up before serving. The flavor was good though. We also tried some type of stuffed shrimp jalapeno appetizer that was good, but each one is massive and just 99% cheese with a piece of shrimp and a sliver of jalapeno. The mole enchiladas were the star of the show and were super delicious and filling. I will definitely be back for these!!

We had ordered from Julio's Magnolias branch before through uber eats and the food was amazing and fresh. So this time we thought of trying the Sawdust branch as it was closer to home. We went there for pick up. We ordered Vegetable Enchiladas. As soon as we tried the first bite we felt that the enchiladas were not fresh. We could taste the sourness. The beans were totally bad, so we didn't touch them. But we still finished the enchiladas thinking it might be because the two different branches might have different tastes. My and my wife woke up today and both of us have bad stomachs. We didn't had anything else after our dinner. I would recommend to stay away from this Sawdust branch if you don't want to pay a visit to the doctor the next day. Thanks read more

This place was worth worth the wait! I got the Charo Grill and it was delicious! Their chunky guacamole was so good! My mother in law got the vegetable enchiladas and they were so good that I'm ready to go back to get that. They were super clean and every one in mask. They even sprayed down the high chair for my granddaughter without asking them to clean it. Very impressed! read more

This is a cute local hole in the wall. The guys are hard working and attentive. The food is consistently good. Grilled fish tacos are best with the yummy with the hot chipotle sauce but the green sauce is tough competition. All that said, the best part of the experience is definitely the blood orange margarita! read more

The food is always fresh and they always follow the comments provided on uber eats orders! If you are looking for delicious food please try them out. First time here. EXCELLENT!!! We had the 5 street tacos plate (1 of each meat) and all the meat was tender & good! Had the Sat-Sun special of Birtis Beef Taco plate... FANTASTIC. And had the 2-taco al carbon plate - very good! . Salsa is perfect. Chips are light and very good. We will definitely be back. We did the dine-in service. read more

I came here due to the good reviews... the service was decent and friendly. Small hole in wall restaurant which usually means great food but this wasn't the case here. I ordered a spicy seafood plate. The red snapper was dry and the shrimp was not edible. I had to throw it out in my napkin...I've never had this experience at any restaurant. My husband complained about his burrito. They put some brown sauce on it and my son's tamale was covered in the sauce too! If I go to a Mexican restaurant then I want REAL Mexican food not some strange Tex-Mex BS . Perhaps we just ordered the wrong food, regardless we will not be returning. I voiced my complaints and they didn't do anything to compensate. read more

Usually this place is pretty good, but the last time I ordered to go they forgot my beans and everything was just kind of thrown together and mixed up in my combination dish. Decided to give it another chance. Ordered chicken fajita as for 2 and the chicken was so dried up it wasn't edible. Had a burnt chicken taste that made me sick!! I think it's a place that's taking advantage of the pandemic and just throwing anything at you!! Too many other Mexican restaurants to choose from and this will no longer be my choice! read more

I don't mess around with my Mexican food. This place is great. First visit was a total win. Owner was there and all about it! Talked about the food, the quality, the specials, and offered some suggestions. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent. Queso was awesome. Fajitas strong. Enchiladas, excellent. Go read my other reviews.... If a place is anything but excellent, I tear it apart. This place is great. Seems like a place that will have to put a patio outside to accommodate more patrons when they get popular. There you go, you're welcome. read more

Service was fine but food extremely disappointing. Had Chicken enchiladas with ranchero sauce. Sauce poor, refried beens not too good. rice was good. Enchiladas well below average. This place is tucked away in a strip center and I was lucky enough to decide to give it a try! The service was prompt, friendly and I felt very welcomed. I couldn't decide what to order because everything sounded wonderful. I had many questions, and several of the waitstaff came over and visited and told me their favorites and gave me great suggestions. I tried the street tacos, a combo meat they suggested. I LOVED IT! I had a margarita which was probably one of the best I've had in a while. The quest and chips were delicious. The red salsa was delicious but I'm a weenie when it comes to spicy but the green sauce was amazing. When my street tacos came out, I still had more questions. I asked which sauces go best on each taco, and he brought me out an array of sauces and told me which ones to try on which meat. I was thoroughly impressed. Will definitely be going back to this place. Everything was delicious but must say I loved the personalized service the best. :) read more

I wasn't told I'd be charged extra and didn't see anywhere on the menu where it said that. The restaurant is small with only tables and maybe 4-5 seats at the small bar. The noise level was moderate throughout our stay such that one could easily carry on a conversation with table mates without having to scream. Almost all patrons were nicely dressed. Since this is a Michelin acknowledged restaurant two years in a row, we were expecting uniqueness and we were not disappointed. That said, food was very good, but I would not rate it as spectacular. The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.

The meat was tender and flavorful, the tortillas were perfectly crispy, and the consommé was rich and delicious.
