    Seafood tofu soup
    William L.

Been here a few times, the soup's always been a good choice. Would've loved some more sides and seems like they've been reducing the portion sizes. Other than that it's a very solid choice inside the food court. I'm a big fan of the soft tofu and the bold/spicy flavors of the broth, especially on a colder day! Can't go wrong with soup/rice and some sides and I've always enjoyed the simplicity of their menu (with the pictures) so you know what you're getting. Service's always been consistent and fast. Overall, a pretty authentic Korean experience and one of many options to choose from not only in HMart but the surrounding areas off Long Point. There are definitely better options but this spot's always been convenient and quick so it gets the job done!

Sunday night delivery - gamjatang, kimbap, Jokbal and soondae.

AMAZING Jokbal! I was in Houston for 4 days and I ordered delivery from here twice - the Jokbal is that good! The soondae was super fresh and yummy (but no salt - I don't know if they forgot or they don't do it. Next time, I have to remember to request it). I ordered the regular kimbap on a previous trip and it was DELICIOUS but something was missing this time - still good so I will order again on my next trip. The gamjatang was slightly bland but still flavorful. The ttoekbbokki - I will pass on next time, veery bland. Highly recommend!!

First time trying food here! I had a vegetarian tofu hot pot and it was very good! The staff there was very welcoming and friendly and good service. I like the simple environment with many menus The price is also reasonable! I paid $12.98 for my dish and it comes with some side dishes and rice along with a delish hot pot! Very good place to try Korean food if you are around and highly recommended! Come and enjoy Cheers

    Spicy Cabbage Short Rib Soup

Very delicious! Had pork, tofu and kimchi soup. Served with rice., kimchi, cucumber and daicon radish sides Also short rib soup is great.

Another option at the food court inside Hmart. Definitely looks authentic compared to the other options. We ordered the pork and potato soup. Well spiced but a little light on salt. Portions are solid for $14.99 but overall felt it was a bland dish. The kimchi on the side had a very strong chemical fermented taste as well. Not impressed but still better than next door.

This is one of many restaurants in the food court of H-mart. We always stop by here when we go grocery shopping and pick up a beef roll for $8.99. It's always made freshly daily and is a really good accompaniment to the spicy soups they offer here. The broth on their beef soup is really flavorful and comes sizzling in a clay pot!

The actual cute little jummas hard at work!

I found a new hangover cure and it's not pho. Jumma's Dumpling Ramen. It's just... wow. It's like a waay better version of the any cheap packet ramen you could make at home. The noodles are thicker, very different from the thin foamy Maruchan or Nissan Cup Noodle noodles. (I just said noodles 3 times in a sentence lol). And there's a supple amount of veggies along with soft delicious slow-cooked onions. The dumplings I didn't think I'd like as much as I did. There was so much flavor packed in the meat. It tasted better than my mom's actually, and she makes really good dumplings. (shh don't tell her). They even put egg in the ramen. Idk about y'all, but when I make ramen at home... I'm pretty lazy about it. Even when it comes to egg. This thing was $6.99 and a pretty BIG bowl. You'll definitely get the best bang for your buck with this item. They also have these cooked Korean beef sushi rolls ("Beef Kimbab") available for purchase at the register. They make great grab and go meals for lunch, definitely check those out.

    Galbi Tang

While Emmy friend grabbed food next door, the photos of the food at Jumma caught my eye. So many delicious soups and broths! I was eyeing the soft tofu soup or the Galbi Tang. As you can see from the photo, I ended up with the Galbi Tang cause I wasn't in the mood for crazy spice! The broth was clean and soothing.. a little on the bland side but exactly what I was looking for. It had lots of white radish and onions in the broth, which added to the sweetness. The Galbi was a bit too tough though - I had to chew hard to get it off the bone and everything ended up stuck to my teeth. Not the most elegant meal. But it was good for a food court meal - comes with sides, though the kimchi wasn't my favorite here. Located right in the H mart food court, you can't go wrong for a quick bite with lots of different options! Tables were spaced out appropriately for social distancing and honestly, not a lot of customers fighting for these tables! Staff were friendly and adhered to mask rules!

    Eel

The eel over rice is delicious! I haven't found much Korean food I like, but this was yummy. Bbq eel over rice with a sweet sauce and strips of seaweed... delicious. Be aware that it's quite sweet, so it's not for everyone. The service was friendly and I'll definitely be back here for the eel!

Galbi tang (short rib soup) and spicy beef soup.

Had some quick bites here. Great Galbi Tang (Short Rib Soup), perfect for the cold weather like this. I also ordered Kimbob (Korean Sushi) for take out. The taste and freshness were incredible. It filled me up just right, and only $3.50. It was a challenge to find seating. Because of the H-Mart's layout, all the food court vendors share just a handful of tables. If you have a group of 4, it would be challenging to find 2 tables together during peak hours. The wait was kind of long. I guess it was because of Saturday. Parking was nearly impossible, as well. I'd like to try other items next time, during weekdays, of course.

Always enjoy going to the H Mart food court so many selections, my food was fantastic just like it usually is. after you order make sure you pay attention to them try to flag you down to tell them your food is ready!

    Spicy rice cake

This place is in hmart. I ordered Korean spicy rice cake and very disappointed of how little they serve for what they charge. $7 is too much for this plate. Taste is just soso. Won't return in the future

Price is a little high but the portion sizes make up for that, really recommend the Chicken Katsu

They have Korean Kimbap which I was so happy about! My husband got one of their soups and it was delicious. Definitely worth eating at.

This location in spring…read morebranch is their original, and I grew up coming here for lunch every sunday after church. 1) Jjajangmyeon: My brother loves getting this one. It is sweet and a bit soupy from all the sauce. The noodles are chewy and bouncy, and get coated in the sauce nicely. There is a good amount of meat that comes with it too! The flavors are great. 2) Jaengbanjjajang: This is my go-to and personal favorite noodle dish to get here. It is similar to their original jjangmyeon except that it is less soupy and has a bit of spice. The spiciness adds a nice kick balancing the sweet and savory flavors. There are also lots of different mix ins like squid, shrimp, beef, and vegetables! The play on textures and contrasting flavors is why I love this dish 3) Spicy Chicken Wings (Yangnyeom): For not being a chicken wing restaurant, Paiks sure does serve some banger wings. Juicy big wings with a slight crisp on the outside. The sauce is amazing. It is that sweet and spicy yangnyeom korean fried chicken sauce. 4) Tangsuyuk: I never visit Paisk without ordering their tangsuyuk. Perfectly fried with a great chew. The pork is not too porky or gamey which is nice, and the sauce is a sticky sweet and sour sauce. 4) Gunmandoo: Their panfried dumplings are quite nice too! I haven't gotten them in a while, but they were solid Overall, I don't think there was a single dish I disliked here at Paiks. Service is standard, not too fast not too slow. The ambiance is not really one for dates or anything. It's super casual with metal chairs. It can get a bit cold. There are restrooms and water dispensers. They used to have the self serve yellow radish but now they just serve it with your meal. You have to clean your table yourself and put all the dish trays in the back
