I'm guessing they handed them out at school so he was super excited to try this place. And don't forget it was $14 without us having to pay for my older son smoothie. I think the quality is there to demand these high prices so this won't make me lower my rating of the place. I finally landed on their special, the Sorsi Sunrise, and it was refreshing, fruity and without the added sugar you see at some smoothie shops. It was also very pretty, à la Erewhon smoothie vibes. Something I didn't realize until dropping in is that they carry a lot of grab and go healthy meals, too. There were several vegetarian options, which I appreciated, and I ended up picking up the egg salad for lunch. I liked how fresh all the ingredients were, and they added celery to their egg salad and didn't add a bunch of heavy bad ingredients. It was light but not super flavorful, but it felt like a healthier egg salad that did the trick for lunch. I ordered at the counter, a honey lavender latte and a power bagel. I was quickly told they were out of turkey, so I switched to a Cali bagel instead. I when to set up my computer and start working. After about 15 minutes, both sets of couples were gone, I was alone in the cafe, and there was no coffee and no bagel in sight. My order or name had not been called. I went up to the counter and a nice worker (who had not been the one to take my order) asked if I was there for pickup. I told her I had ordered in store around 15 minutes ago and was just there to check on my order. She told me the order had been picked up and tried to confirm that I didn't pick it up. I pointed at my computer and said I had been there the whole time. She was apologetic and remade my order, which took about 7-10 min. She was even kind enough to bring it over to me directly. The latte she made was a honey almond instead of a honey lavender, but that was ok. The bagel sandwich was very good. While it was made right, and the worker who fixed the problem was very nice, I am just still confused as to how my order when to the wrong person when there were so few of us in the cafe. I did enjoy this place though, and would go back for breakfast. They also have a nice meeting space that can be rented for free.
