My daughter loves going here, so I've been three times, but It isn' t my favorite place to take her. First off, they do not at all do any monitoring of mask wearing. there were a LOT of adults and children unmasked, coughing all over the place. It got so bad one day that I pulled my kid out after half an hour because NO ONE IS WEARING A MASK. The "referees" don't do anything to enforce it, nor do they really do all that much to watch the kids. They're just angry bored teens. They don't let you have water bottles in the play area so to get a sip of water you constantly have to come out of the play area. It is also pricey. For an hour and 10 minutes its almost 20 dollars and they PACK THE KIDS IN THERE. From a covid-standpoint, it sets of all my caution meters. The lady that works the front desk is lovely and the facility is clean, but.....there is a lot of bad covid-era practices going on. read more

Had my daughter's 7th Birthday party here. she and 14 friends had a blast. The establishment is very clean and they assign a staff member to help out with your kids. Unlike so of the other jump places this one has timed private time in each of the two rooms. Which is great since it's just your kids and their friends. You also get time in a private party room with a throne chair for the birthday kid. The place is very clean. When your party arrives they wait in the waiting area till their time starts so make sure your guests arrive at least 10 minutes early. There will be a big wheeled bin with your child's name on it where the presents go. I kind of wish the bin had a lid because at times that area is quite busy and if the staff member at the desk on the other side of the room isn't paying attention it is easy to have someone swipe a present out of the bin. Once your time starts the kids go into the first room and take off their shoes and put them in cubby holes on a wheeled cabinet. (They wheel this over to the next room) They start on time and you only get so much time in each room. I suggest your kids wear grippy socks and pants that cover your knees. While The kids are jumping in the second room. They give you some time to set up any stuff in the party room. My only gripe about the party room is you're supposed to have access to the refrigerator in there. Unfortunately I did not have access to the refrigerator because the party after mine came early and put their stuff in it. I would have liked to have some of my stuff in there since some things should have been cold. Luckily I had brought drinks in a cooler so they were already cold. If not I would have been kind of mad about the refrigerator thing. You are required to purchase pizza from them but you supply your own snacks and drinks. They currently get the pizza from Newington Pizza. All in all it was a fun time and the kids had a blast. And nice not have to clean up the mess. read more

In Connecticut it seems that Bouncy places come and go. So many different places I've brought my daughter too and they are all closed now. Then I visited Jump On In. Its a chain/franchise with multiple locations in various states. 2 of which are in CT. We visited the Newington location. It is awesome. Its inside of an industrial park. Which most children's places are (ample space). Its also in a great section in Newington. Not that far off the main road that connects to New Britain. Inside they have a lot of large and cool inflatables. Some are REALLY tall. They even have a zip line with foam squares that kids can fall into. The inflatables are well maintained and the place is staffed with enough people to monitor safety. We went for a birthday and everything went like clockwork. The facility appeared to be very effecient and the colors/design of it all was excellent. I can definetly see my family going back again to bring our daughter. She loved it and pretty central in CT. read more

This place works wonders for kids. We went to a birthday party here and my toddler had a blast. Everything in the interior is immaculately clean and brightly colored for the kids. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bounce houses and obstacle courses are a blast for the kids. I really liked the set up for parties. Great place for play dates with the kiddos. Very clean and staff are super friendly. Appointments to jump have to be made in advanced so that the play area isn't too full. Lots of space for active toddlers and small children to run around. My son was happily exhausted afterwards. They sell juice, water and ice cream in the building as well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the price, $13 is kind of pricey for only 1.5 hours of jumping time but we will definitely return. read more

Although the kids had fun, I'm a bit disappointed with our party experience. I've never had a party at a "party factory" such as this; we usually have our kids' parties at home, so I had no idea what to expect and the complete lack of communication didn't help. I was told we could arrive 15 min. early to "set up"; I thought we'd be setting up in the party room, not simply piling our things (some which required refrigeration) on a cart and standing in the lobby. The kids had adequate time in the gyms and I appreciate that they have exclusive use of the gyms. The gym is also much cleaner and better maintained than other "bounce" places I've been to. But once we got into our party room, I was less than impressed. I had all of my food, decorations, etc. organized and I had a specific plan for set up. Next thing I know, the "referees" are tearing through everything and just setting up with absolutely no regard for what I wanted to do. I tried to explain myself and was ignored and it just wasn't at all the way I would have done it. I felt like we were being rushed (despite paying a ridiculous $25 for 15 extra minutes) so that they could pack in the next party. I spent hours making a custom cake and cupcakes and I wasn't even given a chance to take a few good pictures before the attendant starts lighting the candles (something I wanted to do) and the lights were turned off. My husband remarked "that could've been a $500 cake and that girl wouldn't have cared less". I made chocolate snowflakes to top my daughter's frozen theme cupcakes and a special chocolate topper for her cupcake, and the attendant starts pulling them off and tossing them on the counter - I guess she thought they were plastic toppers or something?!?! The girl was pleasant enough but not interactive with the kids so I'm not really even sure what the point was of her being there other than making sure we got out of there according to their schedule. It was actually quite awkward and I would have rather just done things myself. As I said, the kids enjoy the gyms but I'm not sure I'd have another party there, especially for the price. read more

We had our son's 3rd birthday party last month here and it was a blast for him and his friends. They enjoyed very much, from gym A to gym B. Place was very clean, equipments were in great condition and staff were friendly, helpful and organized in coordinating the party. The only setback in my and my friends' opinion is that time in the party room wasn't enough - it was restricted to 30 mins. With appetizers, pizza, cake and dessert, it doesn't allow much time for everyone to enjoy the food and mingle. It's almost like " shove the pizza down your throat and leave "... I hope management can think of a better idea for reasonable time spent in party rooms because 30 minutes is just not reasonably enough. Especially with their steep price for a party package. I went for a kids birthday today and it was okay nothing out of this world. I was greeted promptly at the door by a pleasant employee but that's where the friendly employees stopped the two helpers for the party didn't smile once. The time limits for the two different spaces seemed rushed but I didn't ask to know the specifics. After playing we went into the party room which was really tight with limited space to sit and everyone seemed on top of each other but again I didn't see if other rooms were bigger. The parents kept saying the PIZZA was really good but I declined, something about un-smilling faces making the food you eat doesn't sit well with me. I will say the place looks new and clean. Awesome location with great customer service! When you have a child under the age of 10, you spend way too much of your adult time attending birthday parties at these bouncy gym places. There are a ton of them in Greater Hartford and I naturally have my preferences. I recently received a post card in the mail informing me of Jump On In's Grand Opening promotions. We first visited on a Friday night and my son had a great time. Free play, pizza and a Disney movie meant that my son was annoyed when we showed up early to pick him up. We decided to have his birthday party there and were very satisfied with the customer services as well as with the fact that the total party time is half an hour longer than competitors. We did not feel rushed but everything still felt very organized. We got great feedback from our guests and several people mentioned hosting their own children's birthday parties there. Ok I had my daughter second birthday party in July, the front desk staff was really helpful in helping me book the day. (pros) I love that you can bring your own food, sodas, decor and cake except pizza. They let me bring all the stuff a day before the party which help a lot. Day of the party they allowed me to decorate the room even before the party started it's usually 20min before entering the party room so I got a heads start. (Cons)so I brought all the drinks a day before so it can be cold wrong they probably forgot to refrigerated them my guests had hot drinks. I ask the manager for some ice they gave me a bag of ice which had just a hand full of broken old ice cubes that it seems it was left there by a former guest. I ask many times over the phone before booking if the party room had music, wrong it was like crickets in the room they said the speaker were shot. The pizza arrived like a good 25min late. They said the delivery guy had car problems. My husband offered to pick it up but they said it will be five more minutes five minutes turn into 25 the manager should of not waited and picked it up. It delay all the party adults were eating while the kids just sat there. The two helpers were young and I had to ask to help me out. They never gave me the paper plates,cups or napkins I had to go looking for them in the drawer. They gave me an extra 15 min but I was really upset about the music my daughter loves to dance I really wanted to get her dancing on her birthday. We celebrated our son's third birthday here in May 2017 and everyone could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed themselves. Our guests ranged in ages from 1-11 and they all were able to to be entertained by the equipment in the gym. We brought in our in food in addition to ordering pizza from the local vendor that delivers and we were surprised to find that it was really, really good pizza!
