Great service, food and price! Lots of options and everything tasted great. They were busy with to go orders but we still got our food timely and server was attentive. Don't miss out on their happy hour specials.

Jump Tokyo is always such a great vibe with fantastic prices on sushi rolls. They're always coming up with new specials and deals to keep everything affordable which is must appreciated. The rolls here are fantastic, and there are so many to choose from. I love coming here with friends and splitting lots of rolls and apps to try lots off the menu. The staff is always friendly and efficient getting rolls and drinks out quickly, even while busy.

Put your pinkies down and eat some great Sushi. Get your fill. The prices are on point for what you get. The kids at SDSU are all about it. That's how we found it. Colorful and bright, fresh and delicious. Won't break the bank.

I think I found my new sushi restaurant. Perfect for big families because their prices are great ! We went last week and we got a lot of their March specials! You have to get the Jalepeno bombs to start things off ! My favorite sushi roll was their power roll ! Must try! Part of their march special was the 3 hand rolls for $19 !! My friend got their bulgogi platter and it was loaded. He loved it. My other friend got the chicken katsu curry and loved it. Before you leave make sure to stop by the ice cream fridge !!! You won't regret it ! The servers are nice and helpful with the menu. Restaurant was clean. Definitely coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised with our visit. We ordered both salmon and yellowtail kama, deep fried avocado, 15 piece sashimi plate and the red dragon roll. I loved the yellowtail kama it was perfectly cooked! I didnt like the salmon kama, it was too fatty. The deep fried avocado was okay would have been nice if it was stuffed with crab or tuna. The roll was okay but the rice was a tad hard. The sashimi plate was an exceptional deal and while it wasnt the prettiest looking fish, it was surprisingly tasty and fresh.

Restaurant is located in a good plaza with plenty of parking! Service was wonderful and Sarah (co-owner) was lovely to talk to regarding recommendations. The food was delicious, Sarah Roll had a spicy kick with good texture and the Cucumber Candy roll was a refreshing, all protein roll! There was plenty of seating for small and large groups and had people coming in and out the entire time we were there.

Was in the area and stopped by this sushi shop. I ordered Letici roll, a scallop handroll and seared salmon nigiri! I love their wasabi here!! Everything was delicious! This may be my new go to spot!

We go to this place with my family all the time and they remember my sister and her husband and kiddos, and are so friendly to families. I went tonight with just my bf and I and they made their freshest best rolls we've ever had. We always get the Long Island roll 10/10 and just added the Oishi roll tonight which will be the new order moving forward 10/10 too, plus the salmon belly and blue fin tuna nigiri was so insanely fresh and good. We also had some gyoza too that did not disappoint with a tasty dip. The hot saki is delicious and most of this had a happy hour discount M-W 3-Close. We just had a fabulous time with the friendliest staff and just a truly lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Can't recommend them enough!!!

Boyfriend and I last minute decided to grab sushi for dinner and had this place booked marked so glad to finally try it! Came here on Saturday evening around 7pm. It's next to a brewing company and there was football game so the lot was pretty busy. Not sure how the parking is otherwise. It has a decent sized lot though. Been looking for a place with decent priced quality sushi and think I found it! We got seated right away and food came out pretty quick. Ambience was lively with kpop in the background. We ordered Letici's Roll, Energy Roll and Popcorn Shrimp roll and a miso soup. Everything tasted pretty good! Would recommend and come back!

Our server was Elin was terrific. The Kano Hama had some kick. Nice size all the rolls came with good size. The Mango Prima and Power rolls were yummy. Fresh. I gulped up the salmon skin hand roll. The Sampler Tempura was just the right size we happily enjoyed it. Highly recommended

First, street parking only but don't let that deter you from coming coz every inch or foot that you spend walking to this place is all worth it. Secondly, love the ambiance. Reminds me a lot of those ikazaya pubs in Japan but a little more chic and modern. They have bar seating of about 10 and 6-8 tables inside. But they also have outdoor seating. So I came at exactly 11 am and I was the second guest and they sat me at the bar. By 11:30 am, the entire resto was full, not granting it was a Saturday morning but people prolly got smart to come here early before the lunch crowd gets bigger. So for the food, I had to order their Hayachi Omurice and Chef Soichi's Chicken karage and both were BOMB! 11/10 each! Love the flavor of the rice and nice touch of thin slices of meat and the egg was perfectly made. I just wished there were heapings of those egg. The sauce was slightly tangy but love the flavor. The other star of my meal was the karage. Prolly the Top 2 karage I've had. I liked how they sliced in lengthwise and there not too much coating. And it wasn't oily and very juicy inside. Well seasoned and it came with lemon wedges and kewpie mayo. All I did was sprinkle some Nanami Togarashi for an added umami flavor. Overall, this should be on your top 10 restos in San Diego. Service was excellent, the servers were all friendly and always smiles!! Kudos to you guys!! I'll be back for sure!!

Unlike several of the other Michelin guide or Michelin Star sushi establishments, they offer more than just Omakase. While the do offer Full Omakase for $189, Nigiri Omakase for $140, and Petite Omakase for $65, they also allow you to order nigiri, sashimi along with multiple other specials and cut rolls. On our first walk in experience, we ordered the Petite Omakase which included 4 seasonal dishes, 6 pieces of sushi, a light fish broth, and a small dessert, we also ordered some add-on sushi. On our first reservation here, we opted for the Full Omakase, which was absolutely amazing. It is hard to find any fault in the experience here as everything is done with such meticulous care, and exceptional service, making you feel welcome. I cannot recommend Soichi enough!

I've ordered the Omakase each time and while I still love the atmosphere and the energy from Chef Soichi and the staff, I do have to say that this last go round was not quite as good as the last two. This is meant to be opinionated criticism to help improve but I think the dishes could use more diversity and depth. Having done a fair share of omakase from places like Kinme and Matoi, I feel like this isn't that much more memorable or special and I'd hate for it to follow the same path Tadokoro did where they were absolutely my #1 choice and fell after they got their star (which they later lost). We came celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and were seated right away. The server was initially attentive and explained the specials to us and answered every question since it was our first time. The food was delicious and more affordable than expected. We got the tuna tataki ($18) and salmon crispy rice ($14). The tuna was so tender, it just melted in your mouth! We also got the spicy tuna roll ($9) and oyabun roll ($17). The oyabun had a nice smokey flavor from the torched salmon and the spicy tuna was classic. I was really impressed with their specialty cocktail, shochu sunset ($12) which was very yuzu forward with a hojicha finish. We also got their specialty junmai ginjo cold sake ($23) which was smooth and easier to drink than I imagined! This is a great date night spot. It's not too fancy but makes you feel exclusive with the intimate space. Unfortunately, not only did we ever get any water refills, they charged us for a birthday dessert we never asked for. The server asked us if we wanted anything else and we explicitly said we were full and intended to just finish our drinks/bottle of sake. When he finally came by, he said, "I know y'all said you were full but here's a little birthday treat" and gave us the blueberry pana cotta. When the bill came out, the pana cotta was on the bill! It even said birthday under it but didn't subtract the price at all. That left us feeling super awkward. We got charged for a dessert we didn't ask for or even get to choose. It felt very sneaky and even if we didn't eat the dessert, it would've felt rude disputing the cost. Something that was intended to be a nice gesture ended up ruining our experience. I'm not going back if I'm going to get random charges for celebrating.

Service was ok, they were attentive but definitely slow getting the bill and that awkwardness of them hovering as they hand you the machine to pay with your card and the screen shows the tip. it's like ugh they are standing there starring kind of makes you feel awkward. :: ORDER :: MISO SOUP ($4.50) - nothing special about their miso soup and feel it's a dollar more than many other average sushi restaurants. I did like gave more tofu in their soup. RECOMMEND ULTIMATE HAMACHI ($19.00) - Salmon, avocado and cucumber. Topped w/ Yellowtail, fresh lemon slices, and ponzu. I was told this was one of the two most popular/ordered rolls off the menu. I was thinking this was going to be a very creamy roll with a splash of citrus and would love it but the yellowtail fell below standard for me. Although the piece of yellowtail is small and on top of the sushi resting underneath the lemon slices - towards the middle of eating roll the yellowtail seemed to have a subtle fishy taste for my liking (yellow tail should not be fishy). Perhaps it was the quality of the fish or what but something abut it wasn't it. You won't notice if you are dunking your rolls in soy sauce or letting the lemon slices hide the flavor but I was able to taste it. I ended up plucking the yellowtail off of my rolls and the rolls were up to standard as what I was expecting... creamy with a splash of citrus, that told me that the yellowtail was def off the night I ate there. I'm sure I'd be back but not in a rush. There are many other restaurants to be had. Until the next review...
