How about you guys clean this place. Tables were sticky and smelt like dirty dish towel. The windows and front doors look like the haven't been cleaned in months. It's disgusting these days. Not sure what's happened or is happening there. Junction 52 used to be one of our favorite Friday night places. Now it just feels and looks grimes. Clean that dirty place!! Your arms shouldn't stick to the tables. The table closest to the kitchen entry is so wobbly and your drink almost tips over. Won't be going back anytime soon. Shouldn't feel like I need to take a shower after I leave. Arms sticky from the tables and stinking like a dirty rag. YUCK read more

I cannot say enough good things about these people. Wasn't expecting much from something with Bar and Grill in their name but we went in and were greeted by nice friendly happy people. Got our table very quickly and ordered our food. So many things on the menu it was very hard to decide. Hubby got the French dip and I got the spicy Antonio. Both items were fabulous. Kind of surprised on a Saturday evening how many families were there but with the food that good and the service that friendly I can sure see why people bring their children, this was a great place. I was very disappointed in their advertising 1/2 off Happy Hour for all drinks. I ordered a bottle of Josh chardonnay and was charged $36. I asked if that was the 1/2 off price and was told "yes, it is" - really $72 regular price for Josh. I can buy it at Von's for $12 a bottle. Some mark up! I have been going here since it has opened. Great service and good food. Today was unreal!!! Got there at 2:30. Got seated on the patio. Was given a menu. Sat there for 10 min and waited. Two service workers came out and cleared a table. Never said anything. I finally asked if there was anyone in this area. Reply: yes. Someone would be out. Waited another 5 mins. Saw no one. We left. It was not busy so I don't know why we were ignored. It has never happened before -- even when they are busy. You are greeted and asked what you want to drink while you wait. I've come here with several girlfriends a few times now and definitely enjoy this little place! During COVID, they have extended the restaurant into the parking lot with covered tents for plenty of additional seating to maintain social distancing. The staff is very clean and wear masks the entire time they are serving. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced! I definitely recommend their grilled fish tacos - they are delicious! In my grilled fish taco was a twistie tie, like the kind you put around bread? I stopped eating it immediately and it took quite some time to get a waitress over to help as they were very busy The waitress did apologize but also proceeded to charge my son for it! He said his burger wasn't very good either. They did take the fish tacos off the bill but they really didn't seem too surprised that was in the food. Employees don't wear masks, tables are not disinfected between diners, laminated menus rather than disposable are used, non-service dogs are allowed. Six months into the pandemic? There is no excuse for this. Makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen. read more

Ambiance is good servers are good. Our server failed to mention that it was four more dollars to switch your french fries out for tater tots. Not just tater tots in lieu of french fries there's a four dollar charge when most places do that for free. That was annoying, but good craft beers and decent food but there's lots of places like that. read more

I'll cut to the chase it's losing 1 star because the service was so slow. 8 minutes before anyone came to the table after we were seated. After we ordered, it took almost 30 minutes to get a rueben and a French duo. The food was good, not great. But it took almost 15 minutes to get a togo box. More disappointing was that they were seating every table and ours was maybe three feet from the table next to us. At first I gave this place a rating if 3, but after seeing that this has been going on for a while, I'm lowering it to a 1 star and will not be back. read more

YUM!! My husband and I went out to breakfast last week for the first time since March. We had tried another breakfast joint in town two days before and it left us unsatisfied and wanting. Saturday morning at 9am we showed up at the Junction and had a wonderful experience. The Junction has an outdoor seating area beyond their patio and we were able to sit outside, in the shade and at least 6 ft from other customers. Our server, Megan, was not only kind but had a wonderful easygoing personality and it came through in everything she did. Megan knew the menu and gave us some delicious recommendations. She was spot on!! The avocado toast was delicious & exactly what I had been craving. My husband had the chorizo and we both walked away happy and stuffed. i had fish and chips for dinner and carrot cake for dessert. I love fish and chips nd haven't had any in a long time. Boy, was I disappointed. these were the WORST fish and chips I've ever had. Fish was dry and overcooked, tartar sauce was flavorless, fries were soggy. The carrot cake was moist, but the frosting and filling was not to my liking. Me and my husband went to Junction 52 right after we picked up our marriage license over a year ago, so have been meaning to come back since. The dining room was pretty full so we opted to sit at the bar. I ordered a beer and my husband asked for a menu because we were planning on having lunch there. The bartender threw food menus at us and made a comment that the drink menu was not on there. He then gave my husband a menu that was only wine which seemed like a slight. He ordered a beer. We decided not to eat there and wanted to finish our drinks and leave. During this time, there were several patrons who obviously knew the bartender who were talking about bringing underage women home. They were obviously intoxicated and talking very loudly. They even made comments of following these women home and laughing about it. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Absolutely disgusted by this experience. read more

Soooooo... I'm still in Santee and eating my way to Monday. Today I chose junction 52. Good choice. My friend and I were greeted by a young man at the door. We chose to eat out on the patio and were met by a young lady who sat us down quickly and took our drink orders. Shortly after, Jordon came to our table on one of her many visits to our table. She was polite and very professional. Her knowledge of the menus was amazing. She had s quick answer for any questions we tossed at her. Great customer service. Our meal arrived promptly. The presentation was above average and the pictures I took didn't do any justice to these babies. My tacos came with flour tortillas as ordered and meat fell out of the tortillas. Tons of guacamole topped them off and since they were " Cali " style a handful of string type fries were mingled in the mix. Very tasty addition. The price of our meal came in at a little over $60 with tip. They even diced up a hamburger patty and put it on a container with a lid for a doggy bag. We enjoyed our visit. All aspects of our visit. You can't go wrong with this family friendly bar & grill! There's a TON of TVs to watch your favorite sports games. The drinks are delicious and the food is bomb! This was my first time coming here since the Junction took over the original Fifty Two East Eatery. We were always a huge fan of this place and I was sad when I found out that they were switching ownership. I must say, they've actually done a great job at sprucing up the place a bit. The energy here is fun, casual, and welcoming. They always have happy hour specials, and great craft beers on tap. This is a great spot to watch the game, or eat out on the patio. I've been a regular here for the past 3 years or so, and I love this place. Of course, there are days when they may be short-staffed, service is slow, the food can be a little off, etc. (no one is immune to the economy or the abysmal labor pool), but once you get to know that people who work here and the other regulars who visit, those few and scattered complaints are a very small price to pay for the warmth, good company and conversation that happen at this little, unassuming place. The pours are generous, the staff are genuine and engaged, and the many regulars who visit will enrich your lives as they talk your ears off. This place is the modern equivalent of those old school saloons they show in Westerns, except with hosts that are more welcoming and a rich diversity of characters from every walk of life. read more

My boyfriend is a regular here so we frequent this place often. They are always pretty busy, especially when a game is on, but even so they do a great job accommodating so you can watch it! We usually get there 45 minutes early to put our name in. They have a great beer selection and the food is pretty good but there are a few misses. There is a full time happy hour right now that can't be beat--1/2 off all appetizers and drinks! I've tried most of the appetizers at this point. The Brussels sprouts could use a bit more flavor but still not bad. The potato skins are bomb--basically one "skin" is 1/4 of a potato topped with cheese, bacon, and sour cream and are really filling. My group loves the loaded tots with pulled pork, but my favorite is definitely the grilled shrimp taco and fish taco! Unfortunately the lighter options are not worth getting. The chicken lettuce wraps had no flavor at all, and the seared ahi was also really weird. The fish was fresh but the Cajun spice was just totally out of left field and kind of ruined it for me... They've expanded their outdoor seating temporarily, but I'm curious to see how they make do when indoor dining is back to 100% capacity. Before reopening as Junction 52, the restaurant had a decent amount of indoor seating. They have since remodeled so that the bar takes up 1/3 of the indoor space and it's difficult to imagine they'll have enough tables! They've installed wall to wall TVs which is awesome, but I'm not sure how many customers will actually get to view them. Overall this place is great and is definitely worth a visit! read more

So I have been coming here since this place opened as 52 East! I still love this place even with the changes they have made. I actually love that they offer steak and prime rib which were not options before. They did however take away Adams bread pudding which I think is a big mistake. No one around her has really good bread pudding! Anyway the hubby and I both got prime rib a side salad (with no tomato or onion) the steamed veggies were amazing and cooked perfect. The baked potato had a slight Smokey flavor which was awesome. I am very picky when it comes to food. Service was excellent from start to finish. There was a 30 min wait to be seated but that's to be expected during these times. This place is definitely one of our favorites. Maybe just bring back the bread pudding maybe the owner could ask Kylie or Adam for the recipe! read more

This was once my go to for food in Santee but the new owner/owners destroyed the quality of food served. Very disappointed.

Food was great, however had to wait for the bar type table to be cleared to sit down as did three other families. Appetizer, soup and main dish all came out one after another, didn't even have enough room on the table. Teresa our waitress was not around and the lady who brought us the food asked us to put our appetizers on our main dish plate to make room! After paying for the meal we spoke to Alex who only patronized us with lip service. Worst service I've received in years!
