The setup was absolutely beautiful--light-filled, peaceful, and thoughtfully styled with gorgeous floral arrangements. Brenda herself has such a calm, warm presence. She's one of those people who makes you feel comfortable within seconds, which is especially important when you're wrangling a toddler! She was amazing with my son - patient, playful, and so in tune with how to make the experience fun and easy for both of us. There was zero pressure to pose or perform, she provides prompts for where to be but really captures fun candid moments. Brenda is the best!

I did a milk bath maternity photoshoot with Cristina and it turned out AMAZING!!! Even way better…read morethan I expected! Cristina was also so fun and great to work with, she made the experience so great. I got the flowers and my dress and head piece and while I was getting ready she set up everything herself. She has a really artistic eye and set up the flowers and greenery and then added some of her own decor like candles which I didn't even think of using. She also placed the flowers in a way where they came out amazing in the photos like having some blurred in front of the frame. She also had more creative ideas as we did the shoot, like adding a beautiful mirror and taking some shots through the mirror which was awesome. The other thing she was great at was directing. I'm not used to being in front of a camera so it can feel awkward and unsure of what to do with your arms or how your face looks. She would just tell me how to place my hands and head, to take a deep breath and relax so I didn't look tense and it just made it so much easier instead to be confident on what to do. She showed me the raw photos and they were already amazing but then she edited the favorites I picked and those were just sooooo super incredible I love how she edited them but didn't over-do it which is good because sometimes pics can look blown out or too fake but she just made it all even more beautiful. Anyway had such a great experience with her, she wasn't in a rush either whereas last maternity shoot I did somewhere else I paid sooooo much and was on a very timed clock which I didn't like. Had newborn photos taken this weekend and boy oh boy was it an experience. My little one just…read moreturned 21 days old and was not enjoying the photo taking experience, but Cristina was a true professional! I can not believe the patience she had for my screaming little man. She spent hours with us trying to get the best shots. I didn't think there was going to be any pictures to choose from but I was wrong; Cristina ended up getting some beautiful shots of my baby. So happy we went with her because she made a rough experience truly wonderful. We definitely plan on using Bernes photography in the future and could not recommend her enough!

Not to mention I'm not super organized so I didn't book my newborn shoots till my baby was 3 weeks old. I was worried he would be a bit too fussy or rambunctious to get the classic sleepy newborn pose. When we showed up and got settled sure enough he started to fuss. Kamilah was so incredibly patient and kind. She warmed up a bottle for me and even rocked him herself. Next thing I knew he was swaddled, expertly I might add, and ready for his first photo shoot. Although he never drifted off to sleep, what followed over the next hour was a beautiful, fun and peaceful shoot. He was a big ham in front of Kamilah's camera. Throughout the shoot Kamilah talked to my baby and told him he was handsome and was just such a lovely sweet person. The photos came out beautifully. I wanted make a calendar full of childhood re-creation photos, and it wouldn't have turned out as awesome if I had gone to any other photographer. Tiffany helped us with replicating the exact angles, helped us find really similar locations, and gave great direction in terms of posing smiling, finding the light (etc etc). When we couldn't find a location that would work, she put in the extra effort to photoshop us into a picture that was taken over 20 years ago!
