June is a contemporary Mexican in Thornton Park with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The food is served tapas style and everything comes to the table at random times throughout your meal. We were lucky to get a patio reservation day of. The patio is very spacious with large tables and umbrellas. There's also large plants that separate the tables, which keeps it intimate and quiet. They also play music on the patio with a mixed playlist. The dining room is also gorgeous but when we walked through, it was a little loud. Service started really strong but we had some hiccups along the way. Our server forgot to ring in two dishes. He also overcharged us by $100 by accidentally charging us for another table. The manager was able to sort out the overcharge, but nothing was comped and it didn't feel like they made an effort to make good on their mistakes. As for the food, this would've been a 5 star review, if the service had been good, as this was some of the best food I've had in Orlando in a long time. We ordered the avocado, crab tostada, flautas, corn bread, sweet potatoes, and wood-fired chicken. Everything was delicious, but the standouts were the sweet potatoes, corn bread and the chicken. I'll definitely be dining here again!

Cheers for the vibes and the complete transformation of the old graffiti Junction! We arrived late in the evening for a reservation and decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted by two bartenders who were very sweet. We ordered the salsa board, the sweet potatoes, chicken El Pastor, and the buenolo cookie dessert. We wanted to try the ribs, but they were unfortunately out. Apparently, they are the most popular item and they go fast every weekend. I'm not sure why they don't make enough, but you have to be very early to get it. One of the servers said that they ran out of it at 7:30. We ordered two drinks, and I was a little underwhelmed by the presentation of mine. I got a watermelon margarita and it was in a short glass that was like in timeout or put in a corner. The drink immediately put me in a "huh?"mood. The drink had zero vibe to it. Overall, I thought it was a decent experience and I am happy that I did try it! I think it's a very popular place for locals to be able to just walk over and I think that would be over more often if that were the case. A good tip would be just to go ahead and park in the parking garage just because parking is extremely tight here. We did go to the rug room upstairs as well and they do serve food items there too. Try it, you may be surprised!

One of the most fantastic places we've been to in Orlando. Everything was delicious. You can't go here and not get the guac + salsas though superb all around. We sat in the bar, but the whole restaurant was gorgeous. Our server was also the sweetest! Great job June

The restaurant is beautiful. I've seen the location change over the years and they did a great job with the renovation. We had such a great experience. We went on a Saturday without a reservation. When we first arrived they had only bar seating available but they were also about to close from lunch to dinner. We asked if we could reserve a table for dinner and he was able to squeeze us in for around 5. There was a festival going on at lake Eola so we walked around there to kill time. The service was good. Our waitress did great explaining the menu and making suggestions. It was three of us and we ordered a free things to share and try. The fish and the carrots were the two stand out items. They were both excellent. I will go back just to have to fish again!

I've had this spot on my list for a while now. I'm glad the turned the old Grafitti Junction into something beautiful. Their fresh take on upscale Mexican cuisine is amazing! I've been eyeing the Avocado board for a long time! The waitress did an excellent job explaining the board and accompanying salsas. They were all fresh and delicious! We also had the fried chicken, which was their take on an Asian inspired orange chicken! The restaurant is beautiful! It's the perfect atmosphere for a girls night! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

If you're in Orlando, June needs to be on your restaurant hit list. I came here for a lovely dinner on a Friday night and it was jumping. I highly recommend making a reservation! Also, parking in this area is a bit tough but we managed to find a spot in an empty lot. The restaurant itself is stunning and gives a Tulum-like ambience. Absolutely gorgeous and one of the best upscale Mexican restaurants I've been to. We sat at one of their high top tables and the service was great. For the eats we shared... 1. Avocado and Salsa board (4/5) Gorgeous presentation and it comes with 5 tostadas for dipping. The guac was delicious and I loved the variety of salsas, my fav was a darker red color that tasted like roasted chilis and lime. I wish they served more tostadas because we had so much salsas leftover (you do have to pay an extra $5 for more). 2. Carrots (5/5) Who knew carrots could taste this damn good? The carrots were roasted to perfection which brought out the natural sweetness and the creamy farmers cheese on the bottom paired with the cashew sauce on top was immaculate. 3. Short Rib (5/5) The star of the freakin show. Please get this if you are a red meat lover. Fall off the bone tender meat that has incredible flavor. Quite possibly one of the best short ribs I've consumed. This can definitely be shared between 4 people, because we had way too much leftover for 2. The short rib is served with a side of salsas and like 5 warm corn tortillas. Also, would recommend ordering more tortillas because the amount of meat there unless you wanna go carb-less. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic vibey spot that actually serves really good food.

This restaurant has been highly recommended by a friend who told me it was the best restaurant in Orlando so I was highly eager to try it out. We came here on a Sunday morning so we were able to check out their daytime menu. I'm from Australia and I struggle to find really quality brunch places here as compared to back home. This place nailed everything. The short rib and eggs might have the best short rib I've had since moving to America. Amazingly tender and soft, highly recommend not missing this dish. The grilled avocado was recommended by the server and this was a can't miss as well. It was basically a make your own avocado toast and you're given all the ingredients; the grilled bread that comes along with it was also a perfect crunch. The brioche toast was decadent and well balanced with the berries and cheese. Can't wait to come back here and try the night time menu one day, but I might just stick with this spot as my go-to brunch in town. If we had more brunch places in the same vein as June I'm here for it!

I see this place has amazing reviews, it was my favorite. It's almost a little overly trying to deviate from traditional Mexican. Mind you I've been to some really well done elevated Mexican restaurants. The drinks were ok. The flautas were hard, we thought the first order was just overcooked but no the shell is just really hard, like stuck in my took hard. The duck lacked flavor, was greasy and tough. We did go later in the evening, not sure if that makes a difference. But that being said our server was fantastic! Amazing personality, super attentive. Genuine tried her best to make this enjoyable. The atmosphere inside is loud. It's definitely a great spot for a birthday dinner or a group gathering outside is nice and peaceful best spot if it's a date night.

June is a welcoming and warm Mexican restaurant. The modern décor, multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas, and three beautiful bars create such a vibrant but refined atmosphere. We chose to sit at the indoor bar that also serviced the outdoor bar portion. Our bartender was fantastic and made wonderful recommendations that absolutely delivered. We had already eaten dinner, but after our bartender recommended the cornbread we had to order some. We were absolutely delighted when it came out, it almost too adorable to eat though. It was shaped just like little corn cobs! Not only cute, but it was moist, flavorful, and completely crave-worthy.m, especially with the butter sauce it came with. For cocktails, we had the Passion Fruit which was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Their Espresso cocktail made with tequila which was smooth, bold, and such a fun twist on the classic. It had the perfect kick without being overly sweet. Everything we tried was thoughtful and beautifully executed. If this was just a small sampling, we cannot wait to go back and explore the full menu. June is officially on our must-return list to try out their entrees.

I've been here twice once at the bar, once at a table and both times were such a good time! Right in the heart of Thornton Park, June Orlando has the perfect vibe for girls' night, date night, or honestly any night. The drinks are great, and the hanger steak YUMMMMM. Fun fact: it's actually the butcher's cut, which explains why it's so flavorful! Me and my friend were also obsessed with the Wagyu beef tostada.

Modern and fusion Mexican spot in Orlando that's worth checking out for date nights and special occasions. I came here as a group of 5 and made a reservation on Resy 2 weeks prior. Initially, we weren't able to get the time we wanted, but after I messaged the restaurant through Instagram, I was able to change the time. I was also able to add birthday details in the reservation since we were celebrating 2 birthday's. Walking-in, I enjoyed the tropical, classy, and intimate vibe of the restaurant. The décor was beautiful. The lighting was on the darker side, but good mood lighting. For food, we did family-style for the following: - Wagyu Beef Tostada: Delicious, great combination of textures, and a generous amount of meat. 2 tostadas per order. - Avocado with Tostadas: Guacamole with 5 tostadas and several sauces with increasing heat levels. I wasn't super impressed with this dish. The guacamole and sauces weren't as flavorful as I hoped and the "spicier" sauces were not spicy enough for me. - Fried Chicken: Tasty, but just reminds me of regular orange chicken from a Chinese takeaway. Nice of them to give us this on the house though. - Hanger Steak: Steak quality was good, but not mind-blowing. Also could use more flavor. - Duck: Loved this dish! Definitely inspired by the Chinese peking duck since it came with hoisin sauce. The duck was meaty and fatty. I also liked the crispy duck skin. I wasn't a fan of the corn tortillas it came with though. They were pretty grainy and gritty. - Elote: Cheesy, creamy, and good. Pretty standard. - Coconut Cake: A bit too sweat and it was overkill with the toasted coconut. - Crème Caramel: Ugh this was so good! Despite being very sweet, it was creamy and delicious. I enjoyed the burnt flavor from the brulee in this one. I also really enjoyed the service in this experience. Our server was super friendly, gave us a detailed rundown of the menu, and even made sure our two birthday celebrants got a dessert each. For parking, there's several paid parking structures around or you can do free neighborhood parking if you don't mind walking for a bit. Overall, a solid experience here with varying dishes from mid to delicious.

3.5 Stars A vibey spot in Thornton Park!! I can't believe this used to be a Graffiti Junction because it looks 100% different. Came here for a friend's birthday lunch and was blown away by the atmosphere and menu. The new decor is Tulum-inspired and feels trendy and organic; I loved the use of natural materials and different textures. The menu is a small, with an emphasis of fresh, healthy ingredients. We got the Wagyu Tostada, Fish Tacos, Frittata, and Short-Ribs and Eggs. I loved the crunchiness of the Wagyu Tostada, but Truffle Chimi was too salty and made it a bit too much to eat. However, paired with the Fish Taco, it became balanced, because the taco was cooked perfect but bland. My friends enjoyed their Frittata and Short Ribs, but we did think the prices were a tad high for the portions. Service was fantastic; we had a great time. Overall, I think June is a lovely addition to the area, but I'm unsure if I'd add it to my regular rotation.

Ate here last night with a few girlfriends and we loved it! Everything we ordered was incredible: - Crudo is a must have, I would go back just for this and the short rib. - Ceviche was perfect. Loved the kiwi in it! - Cornbread was a great starter and the butter with it was great! - Salsa board with avocado was so fun and perfect for sharing - Short rib was the best I've had, also great for sharing! 3 of us split all of the above + cocktails which they said were great! Beyond the food, we had impeccable service from every person we came in contact with! The design choices were so chic, down to the plating. Can't wait to go back! read more

first time at june! we sat on the patio which was super cute , and the overall vibe was amazing. the service was great and the staff were very helpful with explaining all of the menu items. we got the wagyu tostada which i could not recommend enough it was delicious. the fried chicken was also good with a little bit of a kick. for drinks we each got a shot flight which was 2 shots of tequila with salt and tajín on the side & orange slices with cinnamon. we also got a pineapple tepache agua fresca and a hibiscus basil strawberry agua fresca. overall experience was great and will definitely be returning read more

We Finally got a Trendy/Sexy restaurant, Gives a vibe of Ava in Winter-park, Beautiful restaurant with Beautiful people. Service from Vanessa was Spectacular. It's tapas restaurant Sorry no pics. Wife and I had, Fish Tacos was Special and a must trust me, price was a bit crazy for $9 for one taco. I rather you charge me 2 for $14 and I bet you would get more orders cause they are amazing but charging more than 7$ for one taco it's a bit crazy. Crab tostada and Wagyu Tostada was great. Fried Chicken I would also recommend. Make sure you get Churro and ganache dessert and ad ice cream and throw it on top gives a perfect balance,It's quite special as well and must. Came here because we learned Becca from Luke's was working here now....and we were not disappointed! Lively atmosphere with two bars and inside and outside tables. The place was packed for dinner at 6:00 on Saturday so definitely make a reservation. The drinks were great, we had the Watermelon and the Pepper. The food was fantastic too. We had the crab tostada, tuna crudo (my favorite), the carrots, fish taco and the short ribs (husband's favorite). Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We understand they will soon open for brunch and cannot wait. This is exactly what DTO needs! read more

Came here on a Friday night for dinner. I have walked by numerous times and have seen it crowded on a regular basis. So this Friday I decided to stop and try it. Food was very good. I had the tostada avocado with the salsa board and then shared their fish dinner along with a bottle of wine. The food was good, the environment is very active and loud, but it was good energy. My only complaint was I found it to be a bit expensive. For two people we shared one appetizer and shared one dish with the cheapest bottle of red wine they had and it was $140. It seems to be the trendy place at this point and people are willing to pay for it, but it was a little bit more than I wanna pay for one appetizer of tostadas and one piece of fish. Still giving it four stars because the environment was nice and our waiter who was from Michigan was amazing. read more

I made it very clear to our waiter: NO CILANTRO!!!!! Our guacamole came buried in cilantro so I sent it back. The kitchen scooped the cilantro off the top and sent us back a half order of guacamole. I should have sent that back too. Our hanger steak was tasty but was supposed to be for 2 people. I could have easily eaten this small steak myself. The quality was OK with areas of tough sinew we could not chew. We left hungry and disappointed never to return. read more

We made a last minute reservation same day. I made the reservation at about 5pm for dinner at 7:45. It was about 6 or 6:30 and my child was inconsolable so we had to cancel. We cancelled immediately. They charged us $40 for doing so despite the fact that we gave them at least an hour notice. It's completely up to them to decide whether to do so or not so they made the conscious decision to do so. I would understand if we just didn't show but given the circumstances it's ridiculous. We've been there a few times and won't be going back now. With this place, you either risk it to show up without a reservation where they routinely tell everyone it's going to be a 2 hour wait (even though they know that's a lie) or you have a reservation with a gun to your head to have to attend despite giving them the courtesy of cancelling. No thanks. They have clearly slowed down since opening and I'm sure they'll quickly realize it's things like this that make people never want to come back. read more

First time there and it was the 2nd best meal I've had in Orlando (Bull & Bear #1). We ordered crudo, fish (redfish), chicken and carrots - each of which were exceptional. Granted, I love Mexican food but overall there are very few, if any, restaurants in the area that check as many boxes as they do here. Look forward to returning soon. read more

When you walk in it's a very different then the old graffiti that was here previously. The over all atmosphere is cool and chill, a little loud but that is to be excepted for a newly opened, busy restaurant. We only had a couple bites and drink while we were just, last minutes decision to come here. We sat at the bar. The bartenders seem a little over whelmed. Not sure if it's the cocktails or what but the cocktail list is very minimum with only 7 in house options. Honestly they could probably batch make them and pour them in a glass. We have the Watermelon and pepper tequila drinks. Watermelon had a nice bite of heat with the jalapeños, more so than the pepper drink. Maybe there's no ice because they're so small they don't think you need ice? We order the wagyu tostadas. They were tasty and beef good quality. Do wish they added the truffle cream dotted around the tostada instead in the center. The tuna crisp was very good and refreshing. Overall the food and drinks are good. But the price of items seem a little high, especially for Thornton park. I would come back to try more and have dinner. read more

Ambiance is awesome. Kinda feels like Ava on park ave in a way. The drinks were nice, felt like spiked cold pressed juices. BlackBerry one was nice and tart and the cucumber one was verrrrrry juice like. Scrumptious. Tbh, the food was mid ‍ . The portions are soooooo tiny and not really worth your while. The intention is a tapas vibe, but even with that ordering style, a table would have 4 would each need to order 3/4 each to be satiated. And it's not like your small taste is that good, honestly. The crab tostada was drenched in butter, the tuna tostada tastes like it had strawberry jam on it, but the carrots..... sooooo fire. The staff was all lovely and attentive and young and fun. I'll probably be back to drink but I'm not counting on June to be a craving for me. Orlando did need a fun vibe like this in thorton park so I'm glad they're doing it! read more

Meals start off with complimentary chips and salsa (4.5/5), which are happily refilled upon request. We tried a variety of tacos (5/5) which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The vegetarian San Jose's fajita bowl (4.5/5) was tasty and served in a generous portion that is ideal for sharing. The cheese quesadilla (5/5) hit all the fresh flavor notes without the cheese being too sharp in taste. The churros (5/5) were the perfect dessert, having a slightly crunchy exterior and softer core as you bit into it. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we visited twice the same week while visiting the Orlando area. Service (4.5/5) was excellent on our first visit, and slightly slower on our 2nd visit, but still incredibly friendly with management checking in on customers to make people were enjoying their meals. Overall, I'd rate the food and experience a 4.5/5, but happy to round up since San Jose's is right up my alley for an ideal Mexican meal that is delicious and doesn't gouge you with prices like other restaurants tend to do. I'll gladly return on future trips to the Orlando area and will be recommending them to others, as San Jose's would crack my rotation of a Mexican restaurants I'd regularly visit if I lived locally.

I recently dined at June, a new upscale restaurant, and while the atmosphere was beautiful and vibrant, the experience was a bit mixed. The restaurant itself has great vibes stylish, lively, and still bustling even at our late 8:45 PM reservation. It was on the noisy side, but not in a bad way, more like an energetic crowd. Unfortunately, the menu left us disappointed. Out of the five entrées available, the hanger steak was already sold out when we sat down, and by the time we ordered, the short rib was also gone. Four of us had been looking forward to it, so that was frustrating. We settled on the chicken, which was tender and had a nice texture, but the flavor didn't stand out. I found myself still craving a hearty burger afterward. The avocado and salsa platter was decent, though heavy on cilantro which isn't for everyone. The chips, however, were the highlight of the meal: crisp, fresh, and genuinely delicious. Still, they didn't quite justify the price tag. Drinks were another sore spot. We were upcharged $5 just to swap tequila for vodka, which meant cocktails came out to $20 each a bit steep for what we received. Service was fine but on the slower side, which added to the overall sense that the evening didn't quite match the upscale expectations. Overall, June shines in atmosphere and presentation, but between limited entrée availability, uneven flavors, and pricey drinks, I left underwhelmed.
