    Breakfast sandwich on a biscuit
    Meghan G.

I was happy to make my first visit to June's and beat the rush early on a Saturday. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches to go. The sitting area is cozy and I appreciated that there was a bench for those waiting for orders. Service was friendly and quick. The biscuits of the breakfast sandwiches were really the star- grilled on a griddle and fluffy as ever. We'll be back.

There is a small counter where you can order Boba tea and cookies made by Sweetened Memories in Durham. I tried the Jasmine Boba with homemade jasmine pearls. I liked it because it wasn't too sweet. Cookies were great. The cats are confined to a separate room so if you are allergic, you can still get Boba tea without direct exposure to the animals.

I have been twice with friends on two different Saturday afternoons. The drinks are good and I can't speak about the baked goods. The process of getting into the cat lounge is easy and well thought out. The cat lounge is modestly sized and cat-ified (in the words of Jackson Galaxy). The space can be a problem when heavily booked (it was on both occasions). I would recommend the Tipsy Tabby consider a cap on a certain number of guests because each time I went, there was an awkward number of folks as opposed to available space/cat location in the lounge. This crowding really takes away from the experience and makes the $14 pp cost seem exorbitant. I'd be willing to pay for a guaranteed private or at least not crowded experience. The cats are sweet. The cafe is good about informing guests about their preferred petting spots, demeanor, and names. I wonder if I'd have a more pawsitive experience on a weekday.

And they have free wifi which is great for working remotely. I also would love to say the service is fantastic. I don't know the name of the girl who served us but she was so friendly. And the drinks came out super fast! We got one of the energy drinks and a mocha. The energy drink was really good (very similar to a Rush at aroma joes!) and my dad enjoyed the mocha. But here is my only complaint.... The scones are not great. I think it is nice that they have a wide variety of pastries. But the scone (blueberry white chocolate) was both super dry and overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it. It was honestly reminiscent of crumbl cookies. So if you like sickeningly sweet scones (like the cookies at Crumbl!), then this would be great. I've had scones like this where it is balanced, but I fear this was too much and I probably won't get a scone here the next time I come. Otherwise, this spot is really cute and I highly recommend checking it out!

The hummus was a wee bit on the salty side, but paired perfectly with the pita that is so good I ordered an extra piece to polish off the hummus! Their sweet potato fries are a bit on the pricey side at $8, but they are addictively good, perfectly caramelized, and portioned generously -- ideal to split between 2-3 people. There's plenty of parking and indoor seating in a spacious, tidy, and well-lit cafe. There is a clean, single-stall handicap-accessible bathroom. There was only one server who was kind and sweet. Best of all, the cafe is a nonprofit and the profits are used by a local synagogue to serve the needs of their local community!

Everything was ready to go when arrived- quick and easy. Online ordering is always a plus. The restaurant is more spacious than I was anticipating and very clean. Let's start with the falafel plate: Delicious and fresh! The homemade pita was a winner. I truly hoped the hummus wouldn't disappoint because sometimes it just does and it was the whole dish's base. My concern was totally unfounded. As for the rugelach? Let me tell you, had I ordered in I would've ordered more than I did! The dough and sweetness was just right. Best I've had in New Hampshire.
