They were both awesome!!! So fresh, all veggies crisp and cut to order. We literally left nothing. Love thatvwe have a new local spot severing up fresh very tasty food. Can't wait to go back. Build your own breakfast sandwich

Tried this new adorable little place (next to Joe's Meat Shoppe) for the first time today and they did not disappoint! I got the "build your own" breakfast sandwich with a plain bagel, two eggs, American cheese, and ham- nothing fancy, but what I was craving. :) It was perfection! The bagel was just the right amount of toasted; the cheese was perfectly melted, the ham was high quality and delicious; the eggs, scrambled just the right amount. It seemed more like a three egg sandwich! It was huge! I also got a regular coffee, which was delicious as well! Looking forward to trying more of their menu!

My friend got the raspberry cream cheese stuffed French Toast, which was also delicious. (I sampled!) They have homemade baked goods (breads, muffins, and a variety of donuts) that are to-die-for, too. I never leave without a few donuts to take home. It's quaint and small inside, but not uncomfortably so. You can either sit by a cozy, lit fireplace, or by a window. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. You just can't go wrong with The Copper Lantern.

The blueberry muffins would have caught my eye even if I hadn't come for one already. Blueberry Muffin: Dense, wobbly, moist but not saturated, light angel cake flavor, numerous blueberries of good size, but not bulbous. Crunch in the crown from just the right amount of coarse sugar sprinkles, but no crispness in the overhang. Uniform pillowy soft texture throughout. Very good muffin. Coffee: Hot, medium bold flavor, and refills from your server. Service: Exceptionally good. Outstanding first impression. Looking forward to trying the homemade donuts and some traditional non-bakery breakfast items.

So on our way home we trekked down 1A to Rye, NH looking for this place. Well worth the stop, easy to place order and wait was minimal. Got the fluffy chowder and hot buttered lobster roll. The chowder was outstanding with good amount of lobster meat mixed in with the clams. It was hot, thick & creamy, the roll was also outstanding and every bit as good as advertised, loaded with lobster meat. It's definitely a repeat visit if ever back in the area.

I was a bit nervous heading in 30 min before close. I felt like the soup was a really good value, for taste and quality. I'm partial to soup, and preferred the Fluffy Chowder, as it was less sweet than the bisque, bringing together the best of both worlds. The grilled cheese was very good, chunks of lobster with the right amount of cheese to hold it all together on bread that was perfectly toasted to support what was about to go down. It came with a smaller portion of soup for dipping. Would definitely go back!
