I took it to Archies..false! I did NOT need a new item; they had loosened the wire in the back of that piece and all it needed was to be plugged back in! I called you guys for lock out service, and he showed up on site, then he did not walk out of his car for more than 20 minutes because he was on the phone with his friends or whatever. Then he slowly walked out of his car and did the job which takes about 30 seconds. Absolutely great place doing honest work. My car stopped moving a few months back and I had to have…read moreit towed back to my house. The tow truck driver thankfully helped me figure out it was the alternator but I didn't have a lug wrench big enough to get the right leverage and get the old one out. I called Morgan Service to see if I could pay them to drive a few blocks over and help me and he offered to let me borrow one for a while and it worked like a charm. I brought it back and he was nice enough to check my work (I almost tightened the belts perfectly) and get the belts just right so they weren't whining. As long as I live around here, I will be bringing our cars to Tom. Highly recommend him as a human and the business as a whole.
