I love Thai food and am extremely happy to have this place in Chanhassen! It's a small family owned restaurant and offers great service. Last time we went there was a Sunday on the Labor day weekend and we accidentally walked in a few minuted past the closing time. However, they were kind enough to accommodate us and take our food order. The owner was great to talk with while we waited for the food to be ready. He has quit his banking job to focus on this venture and he is doing a great job! The food was very fresh and good! We stuck with the basics and ordered the spring roll appetizer and Yellow curry which came with a lot of chicken and vegetables than what we expected. With the deteriorating quality of Sawatdee in Eden Prairie and Na's Thai in Chanhassen, this is a great choice for nearby residents! Will update my review when I try more items on the menu :) read more

Not impressed. I had it delivered so maybe that was a factor but I was really underwhelmed based on the reviews. I got the short noodles with chicken, extra vegetables, and 4 level spicy. I also got the cream cheese wontons. Cream cheese wontons were good, but the short noodles were spicy, but not flavorful and oily. Not a fan read more

This is a new restaurant. Family owned in Chanhassen. Its small and is a sit down place, not fast food. They do have take out. The PHO and the Pad Thai were very good. Nice addition to Chanhassen. The girl at the counter is very nice. Good service. read more

The service was exceptional our glass was always full and the servers interaction with us was extremely friendly.We were able to get out appetizer within minutes after ordering and our entree very promptly. Food was great! Loved the cream cheese wontons. The veggies in the jungle surprise we're very fresh and perfectly made! Very good!! read more

Take out process was simple! I ordered online and texted from my car when I got there. We both got the yellow curry - one with chicken and one with tofu. Both were delicious. I also loved that you could customize the meal and add more veggies. We will definitely be going back! read more

Jungle Kitchen has a very small space and was very busy. We waited nearly an hour for our food (they told us the wait would be long after we ordered). It would've been nice to receive complimentary appetizers due to the long wait. I had the ginger chicken. It had less of a flavor burst than I expect in Thai food so I was a little disappointed. I found this place when I was searching for Pineapple Curry which was very good. We have also tried the Cambodian Rice Noodles. We did not order a spice level with these two curry dishes and they were just right. We like spice and these two dishes definitely had good spice. We also tried the Cambodian Short Noodles, Chow Fun Flat Noodles and Pad Thai. Unfortunately we forgot ask for added spice and these dishes were rather blah without it. They don't always ask what spice level you want so don't forget to ask for more. With some added spice I think they would have been very good. We ordered the Lemongrass Chicken at another visit and asked for spice level 3 and it was perfect. The Lemongrass Chicken had incredible flavors and highly recommended. Their egg rolls were also very good. Lunch specials are also a good value. Look forward to trying more items on their menu. read more

Good food but I've never had an order completed on time. Staff often tells you it will be done 10+ minutes earlier than when it is actually finished. Expect to be stuck waiting a while for food if you order from here. read more

Great curry. I really enjoyed the lunch special I ordered. The workers are all family and the business is family owned and operated. Always a good vibe with that. I would only suggest more meat to veggie ratio in their spring rolls, but other than that everything was fire! read more

I am Cambodian and live in the suburbs, so you can imagine there is nothing in the area for authentic Asian food. On a whim we decided to stop in fully expecting the ordinary Chinese take out. Boyyy was I wrong. The chicken curry noodle soup was like grandmas. The beef skewers were tender and flavorful. Pairs great with the refreshing pickled papaya and carrot side. We had a ton of sides too, but I am too lazy to describe them all, just know it was fire. Waiter was super attentive and actually asked me for more limes before I had to!! Ahhh so nice! So delicious! We stopped in for lunch and everything was fabulous! It's a nice small place. Service was excellent. I had the chicken curry and my husband had flaming chicken. Cambodian beef tasted like boiled beef with no seasoning at all. Two bites and it was in the trash.

Place is so so but for the prices they charge should be way better. fried rice was pretty good that was the highlight of our meal although a finer chop on the vegetables would have been an improvement. The Pad Thai was the worst, sticky noodles, an orange colored sauce that doesn't taste like Pad Thai sauce and the heat level was so far off, ordered medium hot and as far as anyone could tell there was 0 heat. Should have gone 2 blocks over to Na's and got better food. Improve the food or significantly lower your prices. read more

Inspired cuisine; inspiring family. Go for the food; go again to support their dreams. A small, spare space in a non-descript strip mall. An ambitious, interesting menu. Meticulous preparation. Authentic, love-filled family intention and ambition. An interesting thrust of Vietnamese, Cambodian, Thai and Pan-Asian dishes. We had an expected version of fresh shrimp spring rolls, although we were compelled to make our own sauce mix from the variety of fish sauce, hoisin, sriracha, and chili condiments at our disposal. The ginger beef was inspired, perfectly prepared with razor-thinly-sliced ginger medallions, and absolutely delicious--we devoured it. The short-stick rice noodles with beef was equally perfectly prepared with a lovely juxtoposition between the al dente rice noodles and the slightly crunchy bean sprouts. Lovely flavors and very tender beef. The service was sweet and slightly naive, which only added to the charm of the place. As we were there till late in the afternoon when everyone else had left the bulding, the young family of owners gathered around their own table, with a sweet baby who needed crooning and a nap and eventually gave way to slumber, and we chatted about their enthusiasm for this adventure. Jungle Kitchen is my favorite local spot for Pho. It is so tasty and I've never had a problem ordering it to go.

So happy we tried Jungle Kitchen! Wide variety of menu items and everything is fresh and flavorful! Dined in once and picked up takeout tonight. Classic pho was amazing! Service was impeccable! Friendly and sincerely appreciated my business. They also went through my items in my bags to make sure I got everything I ordered, which restaurants rarely do (but should)! Prices are decent also. Definitely will be our go-to Pho takeout and occasional lunch spot! read more

I had lunch here a few weeks ago with a friend. The atmosphere is stark -- but the service and the food were wonderful! I tried the Cambodian short noodles and they were delicious. I was intrigued by the green jelly jungle lort dessert but afraid to order a whole serving. The very friendly waitress let me try a small taste. It was also delicious! I ordered a whole serving! Our waitress said she was born in Cambodia and it was her favorite. My friend had terrific pad thai. I also had a hot coffee with condensed milk that was nice and strong -- the way I like it. I hope they can warm up the interior a touch -- I will be back. read more

Based on the reviews I expected more. The pot stickers were very good. The egg rolls and beef entree were just average.

It's great quality, but it seems a little overpriced. The chicken fried rice was $14. The chicken lemongrass is $15. This would be ok if the portion size was in-line with the price, but they are definitely on the smaller side. read more

Sorry! Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been but the food was extremely bland and did not taste as authentic as I've experienced elsewhere for the same dishes. Requesting extra spice level would have made the food hot but not taste better. The Pad Thai and the noodles were underwhelming and much too dry. The Yellow curry was slightly better. Awesome place! Can't say there are a whole lot of Cambodian food around the southwest Minneapolis. The restaurant is clean and food is hot and fast. Recommend Cambodian short noodles (not a common item in the twin cities)! Curry and pho is pretty good too!! read more

My family ordered through Door Dash this past Sunday. This is our second time. When our food came my husbands soup had leaked. The soup itself was ok. We also ordered Spring rolls that were really bland and terrible. We threw them away. Fried rice was dry. Pad Thai was ok. We won't be ordering again. read more
