Called these folks about 3 days before I needed them and they were available. The two who removed my stuff were Ron and Jermone, couldn't have been nicer people or more professional. Most of my stuff was relatively easy, but I had a monster of a sofa bed. From the time they pulled up, early, BTW, to when they left, it was 18 minutes. We hired Junk Removal 911 based on the other reviews here on Yelp and elsewhere. All the 5-star reviews are entirely accurate in their praise, as far as we're concerned. They charged extremely reasonable rates for removing a bunch of heavy boxes and some very heavy furniture and old exercise equipment. Max and the other person he brought with him worked very efficiently. We have a lot of art, and we appreciated the care they took to avoid any contact with the walls or the artworks in their path. They were right on time, and even called about 10 minutes before our appointment to let us know they were on their way -- in every respect they were nothing short of professional throughout the process. I had a great experience with Junk Removal 911. They called 30 minutes before they were scheduled to show up, and let me know they were on their way. The truck and two sturdy guys showed up right on time. They eyeballed the place, and gave me a quote. At the end of the day, the final charge was exactly what they quoted before they began. They took time to bunch the stuff for donation in one side of the truck so it wouldn't get crushed by the stuff for discard. (Who knows where it really ends up, still, they appeared conscientious and that was nice.) They guys were friendly and easy to work with. These guys are GREAT! I shopped around for a couple of days to find someone in the city who could haul away our couch and living room chair. All the places I talked to said they either a) didn't have the time or b) would charge me more than $300. To pick up a couch?! Contacted junk removal 911, they gave me a very reasonable quote compared to other companies I contacted. They told me they could pick up the same week and we set up the day and time. On the day they were suppose to pick up they called prior to arriving to let me know how far away they were and then once they were outside the building.
