I am so happy with this company. I called Junk 911 and another company highly rated by Yelpers to get quotes. Both companies gave me a similar price estimate and said the actual could be different when they came and saw what I had. Understandable. Well Junk 911's actual price turned out to be $150 LOWER, while the other company's was $200 HIGHER. And the 911 crew Kennedy and Ron were very professional. They called when they were about 1/2 hour away. When they arrived they gave me an estimate on how long it would take to do the job, and they finshed on time. Just had this company remove a few items from our loft. Two good guys made fast work of the job and they were right on time. My only complaint was that the company has a policy of adding 3.5% to the bill if you use credit or debit card. That would have been nice to know ahead of time as I would have chosen to bring a check instead. Otherwise, no problems. read more

I used these guys on 5 occasions to help remove years of trash and junk from an apartment in Evanston. Not a pretty job as the apartment was used by a hoarder who never cleaned, so there was years of dust, trash and filth. The apartment was also a 3 story walk up and this aspect never slowed them down. They were always on time, called to check in when close, were crazy fast, professional and efficient. They never made me feel awkward for what they were walking in to and made a challenging task, manageable. On one occasion, with one day's notice, they arranged to make a pick up that proved to be a huge help, but I suggest you schedule them early as this was a rare opportunity since they've become very popular. Called these guys on a Wednesday afternoon to pick up a random assortment of household things (tables, chairs, pieces of construction lumber, kids toys). They could come out Friday morning, quoted/charged me a price that was fair based on their work and the fact that, living in the city, I couldn't get rid of this stuff myself. These guys are very professional and easy to work with. Very pleasant people too. I called last minute to haul away a love seat and four wooden chairs. They said they could come by at 3:30. The next day they called me to say they had a couple cancellations and wanted to see if they could come early- actually suited my schedule better! They informed me they do try to donate as much as possible, but that most places can be picky about what they take. Have to agree with all the other positive reviews. Had a huge sectional couch that needed to be removed from our house in Morgan Park. The price was absolutely reasonable and the two guys who removed it were awesome, careful about outside wires, not damaging anything, etc. A couple hours later, a very small couch was delivered by La-Z-Boy and they were totally clueless and actually damaged our door frame. These guys are great! I bought new furniture and needed to get rid of my old stuff. I called on a Thursday and got an appointment for the following Tuesday. I had a sofa, accent chair, ottoman and tv stand to be removed from a second floor condo in a walk up building. On Tuesday, they were running late and called me to let me know.
