I did eventually hear back and was given a $30 dollar coupon for another order. Essentially I paid nearly $70 for about $25 worth of vegetables (for me to buy the missing proteins was almost $45). I did place a second order with the coupon and no issues with delivery on the second order. Pros: delivery is convenient, meals are not hard to make, instructions are pretty clear. First call is to Pololi 'Oe. Actually, I emailed, I didn't call. I worked with Carlton via email. He was able to work within my budget and suggest a menu and I was able to give feedback until we agreed on a menu and pricing. Adult and kids bentos: rice, fried noodles, guava chicken, teri beef Adult bentos then added fried fish Kids bentos added shoyu hot dog Each bento had a small handful of soybeans. Just the right touch to add a pupu and a pop of color. This helped it really stand out! Unlike some bentos you order that are full of rice, this bento was packed with food and in perfect proportions. I love their noodles. They use the skinnier chow mein noodle and it's not a heavy/oily recipe. It's light and compliments the super flavorful meats really well. I'm a huge noodle lover so this is a high compliment when I like your noodles! LOL! I had a lot of great compliments, several people asked me where the bentos were from. The taste is different from the typical. It taste like food that's made with a lot of care. Carlton packed my bentos in a cooler so I could keep them warm until the party. This is aloha... when you allow a first time customer with a small order to take your cooler. They offer two pickup or delivery days, Monday and Thursday. The menu differs for both days so you don't find yourself eating three of the same chicken meals over the week. The food is absolutely delicious. I have two meals left to try, but I haven't had a single meal this week that wasn't lick the plate clean good. They also list calories, carbs, fats and protein on the container so you can track properly. You can pick up at their location or several locations island wide. They also order home delivery for a cost. If you're not home just leave an insulated bag with some ice and you'll come home to fresh tasty meals.
