I've been going to Rodeo Cafe for the past 7 years, and their food has always been delicious. They were previously located on Etiwanda, but recently moved to Limonite in Jurupa Valley. Their new location is much bigger, while still keeping the same amazing customer service that keeps us coming back. This is one of my favorite go-to sit-down Mexican breakfast restaurants. My personal favorite is their chilaquiles plate, but honestly, I've enjoyed many of their meals over the years. I love that their food tastes authentic and homemade. We stopped in for breakfast and there was plenty of seating early in a Sunday. The food was good but our server was meh. First the food: Egg Sandwich w/ 1/2 ham- so good with lots of ham slices (not 1/2 ham steak like the menu says). It was really tasty and so were the rodeo potatoes. I love that they also give you a roasted jalapeño and salsa. My only complaint is they overcooked/burnt the eggs. 2 Eggs Your Way: my hubby was happy with his meal. His eggs were cooked right and bacon & hash browns were good. Our server was nice but I'm hoping she was new because she never asked us our choices on the breakfasts of meat and type of potatoes & bread. She wasn't very attentive after. Food was excellent! I think some of the other reviewers just didn't know to order the better food. Why would you come here for just biscuits and gravy? Anyways, the good was amazing, especially my chicken fried steak. Our service was great as well, the guy helping us made sure we always were good. Wait time took only 10 minutes or so on a packed day. Wife wasn't too hungry and got the clam chowder, was good as well. Love the new interior design as well, vibe was great! read more

Some padded chairs - some hard patio chairs. Mexican restaurant but loud country style music is playing. Hot water costs $3.95. I get it to warm up my hands - this place is cold. Vanilla creamer on the table but no jam. Lean roast beef is offered as a hot sandwich - I want the not so lean for me. They do make homemade thousand island dressing and homemade ranch dressing. I don't like the salsa that is served for the potatoes - it's the color of thousand island - it doesn't taste like much. It's cold and made the potatoes cold. Fajitas on the menu says it comes with scrambled eggs. I don't eat eggs scrambled. Why can't it be eggs how ever you want? I wonder how many fried jalapeños they throw away a day. I'm sorry but EEEYUCKKKKKKKK! Salty, Salty Salty food unfortunately. It was my first time there but It wasn't a good experience. I ordered the County Scramble and the biscuit was like a stone, asked for a replacement , that was undercooked, ham was seasoned (Salty) the gravy was cold and salty and to top it all off the hash-brown was cooked to perfection but it was salty. Went with the family and had high expectations, but left very disappointed. I ordered the huevos rancheros with over-easy eggs, and the dish lacked flavor even after adding salt and pepper. The chili verde also only had ONE piece of meat. My kiddo ordered French toast and couldn't even eat it--the eggs on the plate arrived cold. The only thing he enjoyed was the bacon. We also ordered steak and eggs, which were poorly executed. The eggs were dry (which I didn't think was possible), and the steak, ordered medium, came out overcooked, unseasoned, and dry. If you have ever been to the Rodeo Cafe that was on Etiwanda well they moved over to this location. Still packed with customers, still has the great food, still has great customer service, just a bit bigger with a few more seats. I really love the food here. Traditional Mexican and American food. I've ordered practically every thing on the menu here and haven't been disappointed. Word is spreading though so expect to wait just a bit for a table. Hey believe me it's worth it. read more

Customer service was rude and when I asked to speak to a manager, there was no manager available. I asked if I could have both red and green sauce for my chilaquiles and the waitress said " per policy that they could not make my plate with both red and green sauce". New location! Everything from coffee to French toast was delicious. Hot food, large portions, and perfect seasonings. We sat at the bar as all the tables were full. The service was phenomenal! I had the French toast combo and hubby had the chicken fried steak plate. We shared each other's food and didn't leave any behind. We will be back. First off when I first arrived for the first time at this new location, we walked in the door. What's not sure if we needed to wait to be seated or if we seated ourselves, the girls standing up front looked at me like I was a Martian when I asked, do I wait to be seated or do you see me and they proceeded to tell me just to have a seat I arrived at 7 AM when this restaurant first opened was the first one in the door to be seated three people came shortly after me. They all received their food before us. I ordered very simply biscuits and gravy, chicken tenders, and fries for my granddaughter and my other party. Member ordered eggs Benedict when the three people that came after me got their meals I inquired, and I was told it took longer because they had to cook eggs Benedict coached eggs, take literally a couple of minutes was not attended to very well was never offered refills on our beverages when I asked for a beverage to go. I was told I had to pay for another beverage was not happy. Service was horrible. Food was only mediocre and had such high expectations. read more
