Chili cheese corn cake! Deeelicioous!!
Mel. ..

The food here is delicious, hearty, and served hot! It was my first time coming here and I will be coming back. Our server Diana was kind, knowledgeable, and provided some of the best customer service I've ever had. The restaurant is busy but has a nice vibe. My party enjoyed their food and we were well taken care of. Silver Dollar is worth the drive!

Strawberry roll ups

This review goes beyond soggy crepes. My brother ordered $200 worth of breakfast for our family. He loves pancakes and was raving about how great the food is here. He was excited for me to try it. I ordered the strawberry roll ups and they were VERY soggy. Still optimistic, I called wanting to resolve the issue and bring the food back to try something different but the woman who referred to herself as the "bosses daughter" was disrespectful and inconsiderate. She said "you should have put it on the side for a to go order" and told me "you don't have to eat here if you don't like it". Just very unprofessional. I checked the other 1 star reviews and this isn't the first complaint on her being rude to customers. The $16 strawberry rollups will go in the trash and I will gladly never eat at Silver Dollar Pancake house again.

Coming here now for nine years the number one spot in Corona the oldest restaurant and the best waitresses and cooks

Buttermilk pancakes with chocolate toppping
Isaura T.

Been wanting to come here for the longest and finally made it. Came at the last hour for a late breakfast and was surprised to see how packed it still was. I ordered their regular pancake breakfast and added chocolate toppings to it and their buttermilk pancakes were phenomenal! Can't believe I've waited so long to come here. Staff was also super friendly, welcoming, and attentive! Can't wait to be back!

My friend Michelle told our waitress that she was treating me to a belated birthday breakfast and our waitress brought out my meal with a candle on my pancake and sang happy birthday to me

Four eggs and a ton of bacon, hash, brown, and sourdough.

My first visit and it was excellent. The place was clean. The faces were friendly. We sat down and served quick. I never had to ask for more coffee. My food was excellent. No complaints I will be back. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this place

Yearly tradition and birthday celebration on Christmas Eve. This place gets packed so we try to be somewhat early. The food portion is big and prices are low. Employees are very nice and they always walk around filling up your coffee cup.

Chicken fried steak. Surprisingly good.

Oh no! After not patronizing here for a decade, we decided to give it one more chance. But sadly, I still find little that would convince me to return. I wish I didn't have to feel that way. This is supposedly a Corona icon. Prices. Granted, all of us are struggling to survive the inflation right now, but they could have tried a little harder. Breakfasts have become exceedingly expensive for what you get. But the topper was a surcharge for each egg on your plate. And, once they arrived, the eggs were appallingly small. Then, more surcharges for cups to go, and a surcharge for ice in that cup. Frankly, I find "surcharges" are a turn-off. The buttermilk pancakes were nothing to write home about and had already cooled down by the time the butter was applied, so the butter wouldn't melt. Same problem with the toast. The hash browns, while good, were only crisp on one side. The other side was cooked but flabby white. The tables are too close together, seating was cramped. The stools at the counter looked more appealing. The room temperature was chilly. If you are mobility or wheelchair challenged, access to the dining room requires climbing a couple stairs and squeezing through narrow aisles. And lastly, who wants to sit at tables right next to the bathroom door? Now that I have vented, I can tell you a few things things that went well. Our waitress was very sweet. The sausage links are savory delicious. The food came out of the kitchen fairly quickly. The coffee and water refills kept coming. It appeared the interior had recently been repainted and seats reupholstered, all in a pleasant aqua color. I am still confused why this place has survived over so many decades. Honestly, we have several far better breakfast places in the area. But still, they come.

We visited here on Monday 12pm. Always so good place to have amazing American breakfast!! Never disappointed.

Kyle S.

The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and had the right amount of sweetness. Hash browns are the best in the breakfast game. Best breakfast in Corona if you ask me. Service was quick and the ambience takes you back in time. Nostalgic moments mixed with great breakfast, can't complain.

Biscuits & Gravy
Kayla S.

The Biscuits & Gravy were absolutely delicious paired with a generous amount of bacon, hash and overhard eggs. My husband ordered the corned beef and hash with a side of super soft pancakes. No complaints with customer service. They checked in frequently and made sure to keep our coffee filled. The place is small and gets super crowded on the weekends. The decor is very vintage looking diner vibes. I'll be back again for sure!

Outside

Was told it would be 45min -1 hour wait however it was less than that. Ordered a kids meal the silver dollar special with banana pancakes and steak and eggs with pancakes. We paid about $50 for the food. The pancakes were delicious no complaints there. They had other syrups like boysenberry. The eggs were bland and the steak was bland as well. There was no seasoning. Nothing special about them. Would definitely come back for a stack of pancakes. Oh and there is no changing tables for little one.

Country Omelet with added onions and green peppers with hash browns. Their homemade salsa was the bomb!

We love coming to this family owned restaurant! They have the best breakfast in town and you can't beat the service you will get here. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. It's like a diner you go where everyone knows your name. We always feel like home when we eat here. The food is always on point, and everything we've had has been amazing! We usually get the ultimate omelette and add onions and green peppers with biscuits and gravy. And my hubby will get the short stack pancakes or waffles and we share it. Today, we decided to try the pineapple pancakes and I can't believe we didn't have this before. Their pancakes are already good, but the pineapple sauce and shredded coconut just took it to another level. These pancakes are under rated and is a must try. If you like pina colada or anything with pineapple, then you will love it! The pineapple sauce is not too sweet and is just a perfect touch with the shredded coconut. Pancakes are fluffy and cooked to perfection. Definitely will get it again. If you haven't come by to try this place out, you need to! You won't regret it and it's worth the wait cause they do get busy.

My favorite breakfast spot in Corona. Staff provides the best service. If you're looking for a meal that feels at home, this is the spot.

It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. Wait Staff: I wish I took the name of our waitress because she was awesome, funny and knowledgeable about the menu. All waiters/waitresses were great. Food: This is where it gets good because the food was A+++mazing. We started off with just the salsa, chips and for a nice surprise, some warm beans. The salsa brought a tear to my eye because it was soooo good. Luckily, my son doesn't eat salsa so I drank it all down. The chips were perfectly fresh and crispy. Guac: So, our waitress brought us some off the menu guac, and, WTF, why are they hiding this recipe from the rest of the world. I literally got into a fist fight with my son because he was trying to take it from me (not really) but I didn't want to share. The presentation was so cute too. Plantains + chips + guac = heavan Fajitas: I ordered fajitas and all boxes were checked, quantity, quality, and taste. I ordered the chicken and it was juicy and thick and perfectly seasoned. Steak tacos: My kid ordered the steak tacos and we brokered a deal to trade some steak for chicken and this was the best deal made since the New Deal (American history). Steak was chunky and juicy and fresh! The only problem with this place is that it is very far from my house as I was in the 'hood for my kids basketball tournament. If I am in the area you better believe that I will be back. Oh yeah, and very affordable for the upscale dining.

Great food is important, but great service is what turns a meal into an exceptional dining experience, and he delivered both.
