I ordered this food based on the high ratings that I saw online. I ordered the shrimp , potatoes and fried rice. The food came along with two dipping sauces , one was spicy and other was like a sweet garlic mayonnaise . I can say that the food was fresh and the shrimp and potatoes tasted really great . However I wasn't really a fan of the fried . The rice wasn't what I am accustomed to when it comes to eating professionally made fried rice. The rice wasn't completely seasoned and at times it tasted sweet which was unexpected. To be honest the food was okay . After eating it I still felt a bit hungry but I also felt light and energized . I may try this restaurant again , but if I do I will not order the fried rice as a side dish. read more

This place is awesome ! Fresh seafood that has an amazing effect on the tummy ! I usually stop by after a gym work out for the shakes, but the meals are so tempting! The fish and chips here were great. Don't expect the beer battered super greasy fried fish, but do expect a delicious fried just right fish. I also had the salmon burger which was amazing! The pineapple slice was the perfect touch. Steamed shark with broccoli and pumpkin was also great. I would say that the burger was my favorite out of all of them and I split this with my two sisters. Usually after I eat this much I feel gross especially if it's fish and chips, but this time I actually came out it feeling like I ate very healthy. After reading the reviews about the long wait for food I decided to call before I arrived to see if they were busy. Since they weren't I decided to go after work. When I arrived no one was there. I placed my order (steamed snapper with cauliflower and pumpkin and a shrimp and chip box). It took 20 minutes. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. The shrimp and chips were perfectly cooked and delicious. Well seasoned, not salty, just completely delicious. I purchased the snapper for lunch the following day. It was perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I almost ate half before I remembered to put it away. One of the reviews spoke of the garlic sauce being crack. IT TOTALLY IS. I will warn you about the hot sauce. It is hot so be careful. I placed a order 30min before going to pickup my food. upon my arrival, 40min later( just to make sure my order would be ready.) I was tolder that they are making my order now. antoher 30 min later i was told that they don't have any Red sanpper, which was no problem went I place my order. I've been going to this take-out place ever since it opened. The only reason why I'm not giving it a 5 star is because of service. The food is 5 star across the board. It's a nice healthy alternative take-out restaurant that focuses on seafood cooked by Caribbean folk I usually get the grilled salmon ($12)and my favorite sides are okra, sweet potato, broccoli and cauliflower. They have fish & chips ($8)or jumbo shrimp & chips ($9) with a choice of sweet potato or green plantain. I always get the jumbo shrimp with plantain. Thank me later.... I recently tried the soups ($5/$7)which is amazing! My favorite soup would be the fish broth. They also sell juices and smoothies but I haven't tried as of yet. Lastly, they make their own condiments which is a hot sauce and a cream based tartar sauce which is amazing!! The only thing I would say is the service. It's best to call ahead and put in the order at least 20/30 minutes before you pick it up. Sometimes even when I call ahead, I still have to wait when I get there. Yup, just moved to the neighborhood and I have a new favorite spot. That's saying a lot with Burger Meixcano and Midwood Flats to the north and south of this place, but it's true. I've been twice so far. First time I had the fish & chips, and its was great, but then I had the grilled salmon with cabbage & corn..... One of the best pieces of salmon I have ever had. Such a great place to go in the area I have some feedback (especially to make the wait time more efficient): - move the cash register to the back counter - have one person to take orders and payment, i've seen people rotate and walk around - it's hard to tell who's working there and who's a customer. esp instead of calling people out of the kitchen to take a payment - also have that person work on finishing the preparation of the orders too - print out or write down the order so that it's recorded (every time i've come here they've come out the kitchen to double confirm the order, wastes a lot of time) - sell Jerk Chicken all the time - its soooo good and some of the best - when they make Jerk Chicken, have the guy bring the chicken to the back and finish preparing the meal there- will be more efficient. also if the Jerk Chicken takes orders too it gets really confusing. - get rid of the counter and create more seating space read more

I just received my order and it was NOT what we ordered. It was also missing half the order. Now that we tried to call them and get a refund the number is tied to a fax. The whiting fish we did get was fried, yet dry. It tastes like it's been sitting there for a while. The rice they sent had no flavor and was dry, so was the cabbage. The only good thing about what they sent us were the sweet plantains. Very disappointed and would never recommend. The first time I had Jus Fishy. It was amazing. This last visit was awful. The customer service was very unpleasant. I ordered a shark burger, shark wings, two order of fries & macaroni pie. I arrived an hour after I place an order over the phone. Once I arrived the only portion of my order that I received was the shark burger and the "shark wings". I had to wait for fries because it was not prepared with my entire order. Then, my shark wings were drowned in sauce. I have ordered the shark wings in the past which was extremely juicy and crispy without sauce on it. I explained to the lady that I have never received my Fried shark wings like this and she told me "that's how it comes, if I would like I can pay for new order without sauce." There is no description on the menu that states that it will be tossed in any sauce. In addition, my shark burger did not have any pineapple on it at all which is usually the highlight of my burger. Next, I decided to order a slice of macaroni pie. At the time I asked the woman at the register for an order of "macaroni and cheese" which she explained to me that she did not know what macaroni and cheese is. My boyfriend corrected me and said she would like macaroni pie. And I was then able to get a slice. They didn't have the okra (not unlikely for a Caribbean restaurant to run out of something-it's a small price you pay for tasty, fresh food) The fish was amazing, the have me a bit sweat potato they had I needed but that steamed was amazing. Hands down the best Salmon I've had.. ever! Since trying the grilled Salmon I've been hooked. I love the sweet potatoes and corn as sides but have tried almost all the sides and so far so good. For the prices they charge they give a more than reasonable amount of food. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and works efficiently. If you decide to call and order over the phone, know what you'd like before hand as lines can get busy. The shakes are also great, my favorite is the peanut! There is no seating for eating inside of the restaurant, it is a very small space. Definitely an order and pick up place. When your food is ready they call to let you know which is helpful if you don't want to stand and wait. They also deliver which is great if you don't feel like traveling to pick up.
