It was served way- way too hot for me, but I enjoyed it when it was drinkable. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend their blueberry muffin. My mom got some elaborate pistachio iced latte and it was a really nice treat, especially in the heat. I got the tuxedo cold brew and that was also a great afternoon treat drink in the heat. My wife went with traditional coffee and it came in a side pot and was also really good. I ordered the cinnamon twist to enjoy with the coffee and expected a simple twist. This came warm and sticky with wallops of whip cream and was really and amazing dessert. After sharing that we went with the suggestion of the waitress and got something that had peaches and strawberries and was heaven on a plate. Im not even sure what it was but by then realized that everything here was excellent. My only regret is we came after lunch and now wish would have came here for lunch too. Next time I want to try the meals. The staff all worked well together and ran the place well with great energy and very helpful. As I get a bit older adding "clean bathrooms" is getting more important and they take good care of those rooms too. If your in the area know they have EXCELLENT coffee and much MUCH more.

The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Close to my home and close to work. I visit them a couple times a week. Almost all the employees know my order and always wish me a great day at work. The owners actually are in the shop almost every day too. Its wonderful to know we are supporting a local independent business and the owners are still involved in all day to day tasks. The coffee tastes great. They have some special drinks that places like Starbucks don't offer. Their food is also yummy! To all the people complaining about wrong drinks, bitter coffee, cold bagels, etc if you just let them know they will fix the issues or make you a new drink. As a former barista and a retail manager I can't stand when people leave unsatisfied without voicing their opinion. Most businesses WANT you to be happy and satisfied and not giving us a chance to fix a problem leaves the customer and the business unhappy. read more

I went here this morning for a coffee with my family and it was a lovely experience . They have this beautiful and inviting coffee wall that just speaks coffeeshop. I spoke to one of the workers there and she told me that they focus on European Coffee which is a strong bold taste. This coffee reminded me of the time I was in Italy. It tasted AMAZINGGG! They also have tasty treats and hand made empanadas which is a must have. Definitely will stop by here more often. They're a family owned coffeeshop and truly have some of the best quality. A friend and I were visiting the area for tennis and went for coffee at Starbucks upon arrival and were disappointed to find they only had take out cups. While there, we spotted this local independent coffee bar in the plaza across the way. The next day, and for the next few days we went to Just Java for breakfast and coffee. The steel cuts oats with fresh fruit on top is delicious (and good for you), the coffee is tasty and mellow. And yes it is available in porcelain cups! This place is super experienced in coffee making/esspresso pulling. I got a breve and it was delicious. It didnt have that bitter taste that most places do. My husband also got a breve and we both got sandwiches. All together 37 something...not bad for a coffee date. Also well worth it, the bagel my sandwich was on was so fresh tasting, great texture. My only complaint would be not enough food selection, but it's in the name, right!? read more

I always take my coffee at Java coffee when i am in the area even there chain coffee store across the street but the friendly staff makes the difference the coffee tastes very good there serve bagels and it's always fresh they have some table out side and in the morning when i usually take my coffee the shade helps when it's summer, the store my needs some renovation but who cares if you get good coffee and good service read more

I always stop by here before going to work because it's close to my house. I'm happy to live by this cute local coffeeshop. Always greeted with a good morning and always get my items on point. My brunch: Argentinian Empanadas or I get a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Their bagels are sooo good and empanadas are DELICIOUS. read more
