When we asked for reassurance on the revised timeline and quote Geovanny simply told us that it was "not up for negotiation." It is doubtful that Q7 is interested in or values your business. With service this bad before they started work or got paid it is hard to imagine they would even pretend that you exist afterwards if an issue were to arise. I had changed the color from white to a blue-green and texted him the exact flat and satin finishes. He confirmed twice that he had the correct paint, but on the day of service arrived with white instead. He then went to buy the right color, and his son and another worker did the painting. Unfortunately, the first job was poor: uneven coverage on each wall, holes and trim hooks left unpatched, light ceiling coverage, messy edges, and paint spots on the floor. They also didn't leave the paint cans behind. Miguel wasn't present, even at the end to look it all over. When I contacted him a few days later, he agreed to fix it and returned a week later with the crew. They repainted the whole alcove, and the result the second time was satisfactory. While I appreciate that he came back and corrected the work, the overall experience--miscommunication, bringing the wrong paint, poor initial workmanship, and the delay it caused--means I wouldn't hire this company again.

We got the premium shingles, roof ridge venting, a flat area cricket, and good quality aluminum gutters that fit our home's style and color scheme. Esteven was the site lead, and made sure that all aspects of the job went smoothly. He also made sure we knew what work was to be accomplished each day. Since we started with solar panels, the replacement involved coordinating with the solar company to remove and re-install the panels. Esteven and his crew did an excellent job adding extra underlayment where solar panels were to be re-mounted, marking the roof rafters so the solar company could firmly install the mounting brackets, and adding extra waterproofing for each solar bracket stand-off. Esteven removed a powered gable vent fan, ensured there was nothing damaged in our attic when cutting the ridge line to accommodate the new ridge vents, made sure no insulation interfered with airflow for the venting, had the crew clean the site before leaving each day, and fixed any cosmetic issues that had been caused by the construction. I commend the workmanship of Eastman Roofing and their crew, and wholeheartedly recommend them if you are considering a roof replacement.

I went with a middle quote, E-Mora Construction, and I'm so glad I did! I was anxious for the sump pump work to be completed before the rains began. Although E-Mora Construction had a full schedule, they managed to squeeze me in and completed the work ahead of schedule. The workers were great, and tidied up after work finished for the day. The sump pumps and moisture barrier were installed in two days. Ernesto Mora himself came to offer the initial quote, and returned once the work was completed for a final inspection, and to collect payment. When my electrician went into the crawlspace to install a dedicated circuit, he came out and said that if it were his house, he'd be "very happy with the work, and I've been in a lot of crawlspaces!"
