I would never give a bad review if I thought it would prevent someone from getting work. I don't want to prevent someone from make a living. BUT, I got the worst pink/white powder fill from this place EVER! Do NOT go there. You will regret it. WORST fill ever. I was staying with relatives overnight nearby and this place was convenient so I went in for a normal pink/white fill. I've been getting my nails done for literally years, and I've gone to many places, and no one anywhere has ever done such a crappy job. The edge between the white and the pink was crooked and bled into each other. The white part was bumpy and uneven with dark shadow areas. I asked for thin white and she made it thick. When I realized it wasn't going to be corrected I started saying something about it not being good. I felt horrible thinking this is how they intended for me to walk out of there. Eventually the owner took over and had to redo it completely. Yes, the line came out even but I was in there literally for 3 hours!! The next day I noticed how the pink part was starting to lift. Everyday the pink part cracked and chipped and lifted. My nails are a mess. For my pedicure I found another place that was superb: Van Nails Spa (not sure exact name) on corner of Prospect and De Anza Blvd (SunnyvaleSaratoga Rd). Next to Kikusushi. I guess it is called Blue Hills Shopping Center. There is a Valero gas station on corner. The place is super-clean, nice pedi chairs, quiet. There level of service is excellent. read more

For starters, they nicked my fingers twice when they were filing my nails, and when I pulled away every time I felt myself getting cut and when they were cleaning my nails with alcohol, they would ignore me and deny my cuts despite me bleeding. They said that the "blood" is just the red nail polish I chose and tried to rub the red out with acetone and alcohol. It's been two weeks and my manicure is peeling off. I've been really careful and it's not like I do a lot with my hands, so this really shouldn't be happening with a gel manicure. Gels usually should last longer, so I'm not sure what went wrong. read more

It is very dirty. They were very busy today. Were pushy and lying to customers avout the wait. It took over and hour too get jus my toes done. I originally asked for a manicure and fill as well. The lady next to me had been there since 4:15. I saw they were busy at 4:15 and told them i would be back by 5. I sat in the chair for over 20 minutes before rhey started. The paint is rushed on my toe nails 4 coats in less than 15 mins. It is 8:30 at night and my toes are still not dry and are now ruined. The woman next to me who was sat down at 4:15 was abondoned as they took care of customers jus walking in. Continuially telling her in jus 5 minutes they would start on her finger nails. They told her this for over an hour as she sat there 4 new customers were taken care of as soon as they walked in. At 6:30 her and i demanded to leave. They try to convince me to stay saying they put 4 coats it will need to dry. I tell them you could be giving me the manicure i asked for in the meantime but u r helping other customers who have just walked in. I have a plane to catch tomorrow. I wish i never even paid for it before i walked out. Many woman came and went while i was there and i did not see them wash a single pedicure station between uses and neither did they use protective plastic. If i have time i will go back for refund. My nail person, Tea moved to Just Nails (which is under new management). Even though it is further away from where she used to be, I made an appointment and had a wonderful experience. The shop is very nice and very clean. The massage chairs are out of this world. Tea did a wonderful job on my gel fill. I also had a pedicure which was amazing. You must try the orange scrub with the hot stones. Hanna also did a wonderful job. Very attentive. Thanks to all of the gals at the shop! read more

I walked into this place for a spa pedicure. This is your standard Vietnamese salon. The girl that did my pedicure did a horrible job and ended up cutting 2 of my toes. I'm not sure what solution she was pouring over my bloody toes (2) but she spent 10 minutes just sitting there holding a cotton swab over it - waste of my time. I've never had that happen and it's not like my toes had any issues. She cut it while she was trying to clean the toenails. She was definitely harsh in scrubbing my feet, the brush they used to scrub the feet (not even sure why they were using a brush), was really rough and unnecessary. I got a basic manicure and a basic spa pedicure, and I have to say for the price, I think I could have found a much better place. First off, the color selection they had may look like it's a gift from the nail-polish gods, but just because they have a lot of OPI doesn't mean they have a good selection. I found their colors to be kind of dull and boring - nothing really popped out at me. So, I picked two bland colors. The manicure and pedicure both occurred at the same time, and they took a total of maybe 20 minutes - which is really quite quick for a spa pedicure. I know the lady doing my pedicure did not get all my cuticles out ,and the lady doing my manicure couldn't file my nails properly - they had a strange shape to them. On the plus side, I went in on a saturday afternoon and the shop was empty. I just sat and watched TV for 20 minutes and got the nails done. My main issue, however, was that I feel I did not get as good of a service for the amount of money paid. Probably won't come here again. read more

I've been getting a gel manicure here every two weeks for the last year! I love it! I see Hana and she's fantastic. She always takes her time and never rushes. I always know what to expect and am satisfied every visit. They recently got new pedicure massage chairs and they are great! The girls there are always nice despite some customers I've seen come in with a bad attitude and are rude to them. There is sometimes a language barrier but patience is a virtue. read more

Went there yesterday with my wife. We each got mani's and pedi's. For me, I like to get a pedi every now and then because my running and cycling socks and shoes just fit more comfortably afterward. I recently got hooked on mani's after my wife talked me into it, because I found my typing speed on small keyboards increases a bit. I haven't done a scientific study. But it looked like about 5%. It was hard to tell because my error rate also decreased. But I haven't been measuring it long enough to be sure how much. At any rate, Tea, Tina, Van and Pollyn (I think I got all of the names right) have taken incredibly good care of us the past 3 times we've come in. Pollyn and Tea also took very gentle care of our two grandchildren. One of the things that impressed me is how they are not like so many nail salons where the technicians visit with each other in Vietnamese the entire time. Sure they visit with each other in Vietnamese. But, if you start talking to them, they brighten up and are very happy to visit with you. We're hooked on this place. read more

Moral of the story for those who don't want to read it all is: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. If I could give zero stars I would. I came in a 30 min before closing and asked if they had time to do my nails. They said yes but didn't get to me for 20 minutes. The woman that did my pink and white nails used a different technique then I'm used to where she free handed the white instead of using a tool. She was not very good at it so on each nail I kept having to ask her to modify the shape or pink to white ratio. I apologized that I was being kind of picky, and she proceeded to then complain about how picky I was several times. She filed my nail so roughly that I bled. Two hours later she was still working on my nails. She complained about it being late and I apologized for the inconvenience but reminded her that it wasn't my fault. She told me to come back tomorrow for the design I had asked for and that she would do the design for free because of the inconvenience. I paid and gave her a tip because I felt bad that it had taken so long and appreciated the free design offer. The next day I come back and wait for over an hour. I show her a picture of a simple, one-color flower and ask for it on my thumbs and ring finger (as I had done the day before). She tells me that the design is too complicated and that her version of it will not look the same, adding that she doesn't normally do nail art (WHATTTT???). She also claims that she only agreed to do my ring fingers for free and that I will have to pay for my thumbs. After arguing with her a little bit about it I finally gave up. Given her poor work the day before, I did not trust her to do a good job of the design so I just asked her to fix the top coat from the day before (which was VERY bumpy). While doing that, she filed where she had cut me the day before and continued to file when I flinched and pulled my hand back a little. I bled a lot more this time and she rubbed alcohol into the cut with a much stronger force than was necessary. It hurt a lot. She also didn't let the top coat of my second hand dry in the UV light long enough before she took it away, so now one of my hands is way shiner than the other. I have never complained about any service before because I hate confronting strangers. However, the service so bad that I told myself "you're 18 now, you can do this". I asked who the manager was and went up to her. I started explaining what I was unhappy about (mostly that I waited over an hour and didn't even get the design I was promised). The lady who had done my nails heard me, walked over, and interrupted me to start yelling at me about how she hadn't done anything wrong and it was my fault. The manager let her do this and just returned to the nails she was doing. When the woman finally stopped rambling at me and walked away, I turned back to the manager and said "I just thought I should let you know about my experience since you are the manager". The manager completely ignored me and after a few seconds I left (on verge of crying because I can't stand being yelled at by strangers). I obviously will never be going back. read more

Easy to drop in without an appointment and get service. The ladies are friendly and they do good work, though sometimes there is a language barrier. However, the place is sadly and consistently in need of a good scrubbing. Each time I have been there lately there has been dust and spots and misc crud on the manicure table lamp and unidentifiable droppings ( nails or polish chunk?) on the floor. Gross and unpleasant environment. On top of that they seem to always have the TV on, loud, hard to relax ( this last time it was running a violent cop show, with commercials soliciting clients for a failed incontinence mesh device) I will not be back unless they consistently clean up the place and turn the TV off or play something in the background that does not surge my blood pressure. read more

I have one that's cracked...she didn't even fix it, they are all uneven, some are thicker than others. I want to rip them all off and go someplace else. I definitely do not recommend going to her. This place is near my dry cleaners, so I gave it a try. The pedicure I got three weeks ago, still looks fresh. I have had nail art at other salons, and the little gems always fall off two or three days later. These little guys are still going strong! The woman who gave me the pedi was nice, and thorough, I got to catch up on some "quality" daytime TV, and the massage chair was nice. Its a bit pricey for me, but its right by my house, so that saves me tons on gas! read more

Most of the ladies are pretty nice here but there's just this one that ticks me off...new girl did my nails about 3 weeks ago . Did a whole set on me and I asked for a double coat . She mest it up and tried to fix it but it came it uglier. In the end..I asked to keep my hands under the fan but she insisted that my nails were dry enough as she patted them down. Nope!!! An hour later they were still not dry & a week later they started crackin! Idk what sort of materials they use like glue wise or what ever but I would actually want to get what I pay 30$ with tips on top of that for not some cheap work ! I still have them on and they look disgusting, I just haven't had a chance to go fix them not to take them off because they do hurt to get off. read more
