Everyone who knows me refuses to come to the nail shop with me because I'm so picky and never satisfied. I'm very particular about my nails and have changed salons probably 6-7 times now. I'm usually not satisfied with salons because they argue with me about wanting naturally thin looking acrylic nails, cuticles soaked in water then cut, and a certain shape. I have been rushed multiple times at different salons and my manicurist has left me hanging to help another client while someone else finishes up coloring etc. I've known Tammy since I was a little girl. I'm not sure why I keep forgetting to come here. I finally came in here today after not coming here for 5-6 years and let me tell You, for once in my life I am satisfied! Tammy did my nails exactly like I wanted them. They're very thin, narrowish, and my cuticles are clean. She didn't argue with me or leave me for another customer. I got my nails done by two ladies Truc and Thi! They did my cat eye like I asked and these were shaped amazingly. It looks such like gel. Loved how nice my cuticles feel and they got me out within 1hour and 30 minutes. It's super chill here and you can tell it's family orientated. read more

The worst manicure I've ever gotten. The woman chopped up my nails, they were all different lengths. I walked in the woman were very nice I wanted a basic gel french manicure. First she forgot to put pink on my left had and proceeded to try to add the white tip not realizing she didn't paint my nail yet. I reminded her that that hand she did not paint she said "oops I forgot". Then while attempting to add a white tip this lady had no idea what she was doing she called her colleague over to try but she counsels figure out how to add a white line either then a third lady tried and by that time I was done. I tried leaving they kept grabbing my hand and eventually I walked out. They still made me pay although I didn't have my nails painted. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD JOB DONE!!!!! 10/10 would never recommend to my worst enemy! If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

Came in on a Sunday at noon for a Mani/Pedi. I only came here as I'm trying to find a new place as mine sold and the new owners charge waaaaay too much. Salon: Very cluttered, didn't clean chairs or stations between customers. Used same gloves on customers, didn't change them in between. Louder than average. Too much loud talking. Noise level - above average: the chatter between technicians was alot and other customers were having loud conversations. I don't know about them but most people come to relax. Mani: Would have been better if the tech could have just done it from start to finish. She kept answering the phone (didnt sanitize her hands between). No massage really maybe 2 minutes. She was also working on taking off someone else nails between mine and answering the phone. (Again, didn't sanitize). Pedi: The gal who did my Pedi put on a pair of old looking gloves. I said do you have new gloves. She said these have been cleaned...uh how exactly do you clean disposable gloves? Here's a hint, you put on new ones! The Pedi was ok, massage could have been harder water could have been cooler. I suffered one cut. Hope I don't get gangrene from the dirty gloves! She kept smudging the polish. When she finished I watched her go to the next station and use the SAME gloves on the new customer she had just used on me? WTF? Now I'm wondering if the lil cheese grater thingys they use to get dry skin off is clean and if so how cuz it didn't come out of no wrapper. Had to put my own sandals on. One of the most basic pedicures I've had in a long time. The price is on par with all other salons at $35 but with that you usually get a little bit more pampering. She tried to upsell me five dollars for a sugar scrub. The salon is clean, and the chairs are in nice condition. This is where two stars come in because I think it's important to keep the salon looking nice. I did get trapped in the chair for 25 minutes with my feet soaking. I don't like it when they aren't honest that they can't take you. Don't put my feet in water and then make me sit there. I would much rather it be upfront that the wait is about 30 minutes and offer me to sit with them soaking or not. read more

I've been going here since 2002, and no complaints for far. Mainly I get the "Spa Pedicure" and it is $25 plus tip. Usually crowded on weekends- late morning/early afternoon, but week nights are not that bad. Making an appointment doesn't mean much here (not a bad way...), so just show up and hope for the best :) I have not experienced any skin disease or dirty towels yet. People there are usually friendly, but you just have to come here often enough so that they will remember you to get the "regular" treatment. If you are looking for a special manicure/pedicure day with your girl friend with relaxing classical music on the background and lemon cucumber water, this is not the place. read more

Do not go here. I made an appointment here for my mom and I after someone recommended this place to her. We gave it a shot. We came in, I told them we were there for our 4:45 appointment but it seemed like the were expecting an appointment to walk in. They immediately sat us down without mentioning to pick out a color. Regardless they didn't have much vareity since they kept pushing for gel instead of regular. I felt like the service was quick and cheap. During the pedicure they kept my feet in barely warm water with the Jets off. I felt like they kept digging and digging at my cuticles only to butcher my nails and make them bleed. Not only did I have bloody cuticles but the polish application was poorly and quickly done. I didn't really get a notice that my service was done and after a poorly done massage on my arms with low quality lotion my hands felt super beyond dry. I'm guessing they noticed I was unhappy and tried to make it better but the damage was done. Not only was I unhappy with my nails, my mom asked her round french nails and they didn't give her that. When my mom asked if they could turn on the AC, multiple women scrambled to the back but truly never turned on the AC. As my mom was paying our tab the manager approached us asking what was wrong and i showed her my nails and told her how poorly my nails were done and that I've never have an experience like this before. She offered that i come back and she can take care of me but I told her I refused to come back to this location. Once I got home and washed my hands, I finally felt moisture coming back to my skins whereas the oil and lotion they applied once again left my skin feeling more dry. OMG!!!!!! I had the exact same thing happen to me as Tinkerbell-with the exception of going to the ER and getting stitches. I went to my gyno instead who stared in horror at "the lacerations" as she called it on my nether regions. **Warning for the squeamish***........it gets even worse...the only reason I went to my gyno in the first place was bc I had developed a nasty yeast infection-or so I thought. Turns out I had developed a bacterial infection AND a yeast infection bc my flower had gone into overdrive trying to compensate for the trauma. My gyno told me layers of skin had been ripped off, which is exactly what it felt like when I was getting the wax job done by Tammy. I told her it was too rough, but as with Tinkerbell, she acted as if it was no big deal. She even told me that she needed to be that rough bc it would keep the hair gone for longer. Well yea, no shit the hair would be gone longer bc I'd basically be without a vagina to grow any hair on after!!! I'm sorry if I've scared some of you from ever getting a Brazilian. It's not a pretty process, but definitely should not be as bad as my experience. Whatever you do though DO NOT go to this place for a Brazilian. I should've been tipped off by the price ($30), but didn't want to judge a book by it's cover since I've had good experiences at a salon in SF for $26. On top of that, the reviews for this place weren't too bad. If I could give this place a negative star I would. I'm so traumatized I haven't gotten a Brazilian since June and I used to get them regularly. Oh, and did I forget to mention that other staff kept popping in the room while I was all exposed to hand Tammy the phone. You can't beat the price! I go here for my pedicures and brazillian wax. The pedicures are done in the massage chairs (the good kind) and they use hot lava rocks. They also spend ample amount of time on the foot masage. When I go I usually spend about 45 minutes in the chair. When I leave I feel like I just got a back massage and a foot massage for 45mins/$20bucks. For the brazillian, I see Tammy and she is great. A small wax room, but clean. I like the waxers who don't waste any time and just take it all off, yep that's Tammy. She usues baby powder before, just as any good waxer should and she also compresses for the pain. I also have a pedi person I always request but I don't want to tell all of you because then she might be too busy for me! The Brazilian wax only $25 and the spa pedicure is less than that...I don't recall the exact amount. They use hot stones for the pedicure and it's wonderful. I came here with my best friend over the weekend and there were other customers when we walked in. For some reason, the ladies didn't know we were Vietnamese and started talking in Vietnamse amongst themselves. Not to our surprise, they were bad mouthing random people/customers. What really irked me was when the Lisa offered me a "sugar" scrub for an additional $5. I agreed to it because I wanted to treat my feet since I don't get too many pedicures. To my dismay, as soon as I said yes, she turned to the lady that was giving my friend a pedi and said in Vietnamese, "I tricked her into getting it maybe now she will tell her friend to get it too." WOW! Really?! So of course I texted my bff (she was right next to me but I didn't want them to hear) and told her NOT to get it. Ridiculous! Overall, the service I received was about 3 stars, but for $25 I could go somewhere else for less and receive better service and not be tricked into getting a "sugar" scrub. My wife has been coming here for years. She gets waxing, mani's and pedi's. My grandchildren sometimes come along for mani's and pedi's. Even I come in and join them sometimes. The pedicures make my feel better in my bike shoes. I wish I'd known about them when I was a runner. An occasional manicure significantly cuts down problems with hangnails. Great stuff. These people are always friendly, cheerful and efficient. And their prices are excellent. Yes, they do talk to each other in Vietnamese. But it has never affected the service negatively at all. Maybe they are making comments about us. Don't know. Don't really care. As long as they continue their high level of service at a great price I don't think I can complain. I got a "rushed" pedicure for $20 and the technician was working side to side with me and other customer, swaping out tools without being sanitized. It still took one hour for the pedi only b/c she kept leaving me every 10 minutes to attend to the other customer. She cut my toe nails to the numb and they're crooked. I do not recommended Paris Nails. They cut my skin surrounding the nail and it became infected. I've been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and soaked it in warm salt water but it hasn't gotten any better so I will have to go to the doctor to get it treated. I'm writing this review not about the workers but the conditions of the shop. I came in here on a hot day for a pedi and medi and the ladies were very fast at getting me situated. Unfortunately, I did not stay because it was incredibly hot. I asked about the A/C and the manager said it was broken. I understand this but this is unacceptable!! How can you have a broken A/C during the summer? It is way too hot for customers and workers to be in the shop. I left before the lady could start on my pedi and mani and I am extremely disappointed. I've been here a few times since it was close to where I use to live. I got my nails done here for my wedding; some of my bridesmaids go there's done too. I just got a french manicure; no tips or anything like that. They did an ok. job. I also got my first brazilian wax there!!! Yes, it did hurt! haha. it was quick and cheap. I came back a few times again. I brought my cousin for her first waxing. I could hear her screaming!!! and everyone else could hear her. HOw embarrassing!!! LMAO.
