Nice staff and there are always a lot of dogs, so my dog comes home extremely tired which is awesome. I also like that it has structure. Cons- at times he comes home hungry and dehydrated. He also caught kennel cough from a dog within the Facility and was unable to go back for a Few weeks. The manger called to check on our dog which was very thoughtful. We took our dog here to stay for 4 days over New Years break. The first night back home, she pooped solids in the house, which she has never ever done before. Must be because they don't walk her and she treated our house as if she was still at justpetme. But the next day, she had diarrhea in the house. we're assuming they fed her other than her food. Staff is friendly, so I'm giving two stars. We don't plan on boarding her here anymore. read more

i have to say that at first i was thrilled to have found just pet me. they were close to my house, the facility was beautiful, and julie, the owner seemed to really care about the animals. the first time i took my two dogs there, they had a great time. they seemed to be well cared for and aside from being overfed while they were there, the seemed happy to see me when i picked them up, but not neurotic or freaked out. the only problem was that they had overfed my dogs and when i dropped them off, i left more than plenty of their food. i fully expected to get a full, unopened bag of food back when i picked them up. julie, the owner was very applogetic and promised me that she would make sure that i got a full bag of their food returned to me. she even said that she would drop it off at my house for me if i wanted. i appreciated that, being that the dog food i buy is premium and expensive. however, she never brought the food to me, nor did she ever call to let me know that she had it for me to come pick up. kind of hinky, but i overlooked it. i felt like i had finally found a great place to leave my two dogs for when i took my annual 3 week vacation in august. however, when i picked up my dogs after my 4 week trip, i found my older dog had a 2 inch gash in her face, very near her eye. i was completely flipped out by this! i had given them an emergency number to reach me as well as my cell phone number. they said that they called the emergency number (once) and it rang and rang and was never answered. they also said they called my cell phone, but there was no record of them having called my cell, and no message was left for me, either on my cell or at my home number. they told me that it was not a dog fight, that it was just rough play. i'm not sure how i feel about that explanation. i do know that my older dog plays very well with other dogs and does not play roughly. i will never take my dogs back there again. when i picked the dogs up, they were both whining and barking and acting like they could not get away from that place fast enough. they have never reacted that way after being boarded before! another thing was that they could not give me a printed receipt when i picked up my dogs. they told me that it would be emailed to me. it's been 10 days since I picked up my dogs and I have yet to see the bill emailed to me, although, they most certainly took no time in charging my credit card. it is INSANELY expensive to board two dogs for 3 weeks, and unfortunately, i don't really have any other options for my "kids" when i go away (which is only once a year). it is incredibly disturbing to come home to an injured dog and then to have to pay that amount of money for shoddy care. unfortunately, i was initially really happy with just pet me and wound up telling quite a few people about how great they are, referring them and telling them to take their dogs to be boarded there. i don't feel very good about that recommendation at all! i will never board my dogs there again. read more

This is the letter that we sent to "Just do What ever to me" Hello my name FM and just this past weekend I dropped my dog for a visit with you. As a business owner as well as a customer, I wanted to write you about a few things that did not sit well with me or my partner. When we first came to the facility the test performed on her was not discussed before she was taken inside to be put with a group of unknown dogs. There should have been a run down of the steps taken in the test to determine whether or not this dog was the right fit to be boarded at your establishment. Secondly, we were NEVER offered an opportunity to see the establishment. That should be the FIRST thing you offer a client when they come in-without a $25 tour fee. Everyone wants to know where their pet will be during the stay. You stated you had rooms-we saw one. I had a discussion in detail with Julie asking specifically that she will NOT BE KENNELED and what does she tell me on the first call to check in?She did well in the kennel. That was my request-not an option. I didn't want to get upset at that moment because it does no one any good. She continued to be crated during the stay and SUPPOSEDLY she slept in an x-pen at night. (of course, we had also requested she stay in a room, but that didn't happen) I have no idea what "play group " was like, how long she was caged or anything else. I brought her home to discover more things: She has an eye infection, smelled like kennel and urine, has fleas and is now terrified of a dog brush.she has been handled by me for a long time and she does not fear me, I picked up a brush to brush my other dogs and she runs terrified and won't come to me. I now can not get near her with a brush. You tell me what happened. I am not satisfied with this at all and I feel very uneasy about your business. We work as advocates at the Oakland animal shelter on a regular basis, I know dogs. I have been working with them for years on end-trained and worked in behavior modification . I especially know my dogs and I am aware of change in behavior. I think you should take a closer look at your business practices. I know a lot of people in the dog community and I would not recommend your services. I will never do this to my baby Girl! read more

This is a stellar boarding facility. Period. I stumbled upon this Just Pet Me on Yelp after experiencing difficulty with my former veterinarian and desperately needed last minute boarding for my three cats. They accepted my three cats and even recommended a new vet with better prices. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating to my cats' needs. Their hours are perfect, which works better for me since I sometimes take early morning flights and arrive later in the night. There is parking in the front and it's centrally located in Oakland. Plus, the prices are reasonable and affordable. I'm so glad I found a new place for my cats! read more

i brought me pups here when i had to leave town for a biznazz trip. i had been referred here by a friend who said her pups came back home totally happy and with new tricks!!! sounds fantastic eh!?? the people are nice, but it was very odd because no one could tell me how much they charge per night/day. and this was when i brought the dog in and WHEN I PICKED HIM UP AND WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY THEM MONEY. really?? at a small business you have people on your staff who can't tell you prices??? that is RIDICULOUS. absolutely ridiculous. Two different people too- like how many freaking people can work there? Is there one 'keeper of the prices' warlock that lives in the basement that comes out once in a fullmoon to share this information with the rest of the staff? give me a break. Am i comfortable with just leaving you my ccard number so you can charge me later? no. do i have any other choice? no! Anyway, my dog came back with the runs, and totally lethargic. the lethargic was b/c he was so active during his stay from what they say. I believe them. can't speak to the runs, because he's honestly never had them the whole time i have owned him until this incident. and he was farty. don't know what they fed him but it was not good on the ol' digestive system. it is a great asthetically pleasing place. It has a nice set-up. Ruby who i met seems genuine but they don't remember your name or your face or which dog is yours which- again- it's not like this is McDonalds or some puppy-watching factory- they shouldn't have that much business that it is impossible to give that type of service. i think it is just a slack lack of thoughtfulness on their part. the jury is out. i feel like a 2 star but will err on the side of generosity and give it a 3 unless my dog's runs don't go away and unless he stays a floppy wet noodle as far as energy and perkiness goes. completely downgrading a star. i have a few good solid examples of them flat out lying to me about something on more than one occassion (pricing, dog behavior) and just like the other yelper below me- if i'd question something that wasn't right with his stay or health after going there, they'd get super defensive and not taking ownership of anything. read more

I just picked up my 8 year old Boxer after leaving him for five days during the holidays. I give them two points because they are quite personable and were available during the X-mas season. My back was against the wall, so I went with them. We picked up our boy about 8 hours ago, he was exhausted (like I had to carry him to bed because he is barely conscious exhausted) is about 5 lbs lighter and has the worst runs I've ever seen. I'm very concerned and staying close to home tomorrow to monitor him. I expected him to be a bit tired but this is ridiculous...I'm convinced that either he was not served his food or the environment was just too stressful for him. Next time, I'm sticking to my regulars and will be making my Christmas reservations for 2012 as soon as my usual place opens today! I called to set up a tour and assessment for my dogs. The female (i guess) that answered the phone asked me "for what?? " dogs or cats, but the tone of her voice already discouraged me, as it was curt, condascending and irritated.. I answered the question but person on the phone then sat there.. nothing but silence. I repeated my request and she then stated they only do assessments at 1:45 pm. (same tone of voice) That clearly won't work for me or most people that work full time during the day. This business should better train the staff that answer the phone and expand assessment hours if they would like to gain new clients. read more

I have a 6 year old Papillon with a Napoleon complex and demand barking issues. She, like all of us is a work in progress.... she is still sweet and lovable none the less! Anyway, I've been bringing her here for about 3.5 years. This is her home away from home. Julie, Sarah et al love my baby girl and I can tell by the way she reacts to them when they greet her that this is the case. I'm a "single parent" and it gives me such piece of mind that my girl is so happy upon her arrival here in the mornings. read more

I have a Samoyed, he is super energetic and overly playful all the time. Just Pet Me seems to be the perfect fit for him. Every time we board him there he comes home exhausted and just passes out soon after we get home. His face used to be all dirty when I picked him up because of other dog's slobber, but once I asked them nicely to wipe him off before we pick him up his face is all nice and clean during pick ups now. If you have a young social dog that needs to get a lot of exercise in, this might be the place for you. Thanks Just Pet Me! read more

After years of choosing this place, I was forced to stop bringing my dog here. I began to notice a pattern developed every time I picked my dog up. My dog had the stench of urine every time. My dog also developed symptoms of illness that forced me to bring my dog to the vet. My was usually diagnosed with something viral and needed antibiotics. My dog's last extended stay here ended up with me bringing him to the vet. This time he was diagnosed with 4 different viruses. He lost 20 pounds and required IV therapy every 6 hours. The vet bill was over $2000 after the tests, x-rays and the medicine. The vet contacted Just Pet Me and was only able to leave a message for the owner. I never found out what were the details of the message or if the owner even got the message or spoke with the vet about diagnosis. I never heard back from Just Pet Me. I also heard from a friend that this place had been inspected by code inspectors in the past and have been cited for code violations. I do not know the specifics. I decided to give them 2 stars because the staff has always been wonderful. However, I am a skeptical with their cleanliness of their facilities after the visits to the vet. read more

Brought my dog here for a spa day! She is a large Old English Sheepdog and very hard to groom. WOW did Just Pet Me do a great job! I brough her in and they said it would take a couple hours. I left to do a few errands and they called me back when she was ready. When I picked her up she looked so great! Her hair was so soft and smelled so good. They even cleaned the inside of her ears and clipped her nails. They gave her the royal treatment! I would highly recommend this place for any dog needing a good spa treatment! read more

We love Just Pet Me! My boyfriend has brought his dog to JPM for the past couple years (a very energetic bull tog/Boston terrier mix) so I decided to give it a try when I adopted Bella, a 3 year old yellow lab. Bella has now been going to JPM for about 6 months and gets so excited every time I bring her (and given her pretty bad separation anxiety, that says a lot). We love Tess and Sarah - they are always so upbeat and you can tell they really care about all the dogs. And they are so patient with our dogs and all their little quirks. Plus they're open from 6am-9pm on weekdays, which has been great when I work a 12-hour shift. So definitely recommend JPM. And thank you, Sarah and Tess! read more

Just Pet Me has been an amazing resource for our family. Mochi is a very playful pup that thankfully, loves all people and dogs. Despite that, he is very attached to my husband and I. We wanted to take our cats here for the "cat hotel" service detailed on the website, enticed by the promises of cat condos and lots of playtime. After visiting yesterday, I would not recommend anyone send their pet here. We tried to visit Saturday but the place did not have lobby hours. We noted the hours on the door for Sunday, then called Sunday during the posted hours to make sure it was open. We then dropped by but the one staff member who "greeted" us seemed annoyed and confused as to why anyone would be there during the posted lobby hours (despite the fact she'd answered our call not 10 minutes earlier). All-in-all, it was a very disappointing experience. Not only was the employee rude and impatient, she seemed quite unsympathetic... none of which is a quality I would want in someone who is caring for my pet. I think we'll stick with our patchwork solution of a once per day petsitter and our neighbor's 15-year-old daughter for our petsitting needs. We thought 'round-the-clock care might be a better fit but I would warn anyone in our situation to seriously reconsider before wasting time with phone calls or visits to "Just Pet Me." read more

I can't say enough good things about Just Pet Me--my dog is so well loved there! I work full time and I travel quite a bit and I have two kids, etc. so I really needed to feel that my four legged buddy would be well taken care of, have a lot of fun, come home good and tired, etc. And all of that has been more than true. And on the one occasion where she vomited at JPM, they called me, they called my vet, they took good care of her and THEN followed up repeatedly to make sure she was okay. Ruby and Julie are two amazing women who have started this business together and I am in awe of their energy and commitment. It's actually hilarious because every time I pick her up, they tell me all about which of her friends was there, what she did all day, etc. So give it a try! read more

We have two dogs (Dalmation and a Goldendoodle) and a cat and we have been coming to Just Pet Me for almost five years. We LOVE the entire team there. Julie and Ruby are like family. They helped us through every stage: from puppy training for our younger dog to health issues with our older dog. Their service is exceptional - they always go above and beyond for us and are always available to answer questions whenever we have a problem. Our dogs both love the environment and we know that when we travel our "boys" are getting the best care. I recommend Just Pet Me highly to all of my friends and family. They are very knowledgeable and have been an invaluable resource. In five years, I have never had a single negative incident with any member of the staff. I am so grateful for Just Pet Me! My whole family have been super satisfied customers for a year and a half now. We take our almost two year old pointer at least once a week for a full day visit and it has been the best investment. I love Just Pet Me for the following reasons: Great Facility: Lots of space -- including a wonderful outdoor patio. The facility is very clean with a check-in area that is actually kind of elegant. The location is great for me - with quick access to freeways and major Oakland thoroughfares. Business hours are long and flexible so that if I have a late meeting, I don't have to worry about finishing work by 5:45 to pick-up my dog. Drop-off/Pick-up: The best it can get! There is a white zone out front so it's completely safe to ferry your dog from the car to Just Pet Me. In the mornings, staff actually run out to open the door to transfer your dog which helps to expedite my trip to work. Staff Friendliness / Ability: Very nice people who genuinely care for my dog. Even though we have never hired Just Pet Me specifically for dog training, my dog responds to the staff with his attention and focus and he has developed very good play behavior skills under their guidance. The staff is very easy to work with. There's always a smile and friendly greeting from the morning staff and Ruby, Julie and Sara are happy to answer questions and take time to talk about your dog. Plus, they offer little reports about his day and who he has played with. It feels really good to have him under their watch. My dog's happiness....is off the charts! (Yelp can we add more stars?) I have a very happy and tired doggy at the end of his visit. It makes Just Pet Me valuable to all of us. read more

Only doggie day care my dog has EVER wanted to go to from sea to shining sea. With the exception of 1 or 2 people (thus 4/5 stars) everyone there LOVES the dogs. Buddy had been going there on and off for 5 years and he runs in every time. It's full service, a little pricey, but worth it. They also do same day grooming requests, which if you are as disorganized as I am you appreciate. I refer other dog-parents there all the time and have never heard anything negative. read more

I absolutely love this place, and even more importantly, my dog does, too! At first I was nervous about entrusting my pit-mix into the care of a boarding facility, but those fears were alleviated from the very first interaction with the attentive and charismatic staff at Just Pet Me. My dog is always super excited to see them and the staff members have always been equally excited to see her. When I pick my dog up at the end of her stay she is happy, healthy, and clean (in the case of a week-long stay). They also give me updates on who my dog most frequently plays with and how often or not the monitors had to step in and calm down a play session to avoid anyone getting too wound up. Their attentiveness to healthy socialization and to maintaining the needs of each dog's unique personality is INVALUABLE. In fact, having to part ways with this facility was one of the hardest parts about having to move out of state. The staff at JPM truly have something special here that I doubt another facility can easily replicate. I would trust my darling dog with them anytime we are in town. read more

I've taken my dog to JPM for about a year for boarding and day care every once in a while and me and the dog were happy with it. When it was time to go there in the morning, my dog got very excited and jumped into the car. She almost always came home exhausted from playing. We haven't been in a while and I got worried after reading the recent negative posts here. I needed to board her and so went back to JPM last week and I'm glad I did. My dog got so excited once we walked in the door to drop her off and she was happily exhausted when I picked her up a few days later. We have had the same experience as others that our pooch comes home and drinks a ton of water. But I'm sure it's just thirst from playing all day. I have no doubt that she has access to water there and I've noticed that some days after being home alone (when she's not at JPM) she'll wait until I walk into the door to drink water that's been left out for her all day, and then she drinks a huge quantity. She has a doggie door to get out, so I'm not sure why she, well, is a binge drinker like that.. In any case, it doesn't have anything to do with JPM not caring for her properly when she's there. The only negative experience I've had at JPM is that once when I had her groomed there they cut her nails too short. My dog does have weird quicks and we've had this same problem at another groomer, so it didn't concern me too much. I now get her nails cut only by the vet. The JPM owners are incredibly nice and personable. They are also very flexible about pick-up and drop-off and reservations, which makes it great doing business with them. Basically, I am glad I have such a great place to leave my dog. If I had more money I'd take her to doggie day care there all the time! read more

We've been bringing our Jack Russell/Chihuahua puppy here for a few months, just once a week. He always comes home tired and really thirsty. I appreciate him being tired from play all day but not sure why he doesn't get enough water. The place has a musty smell, too. He is happy to go in the morning so it makes me feel good about dropping him off. He's full of energy and pretty low maintenance so this place works out fine for our needs, plus the location is perfect. I wouldn't leave him overnight though, the smell sticks to him and the water thing could be a problem. He's come home with scratches from other dogs and the staff doesn't even mention it. Overall the staff is really nice, we've never had a problem. read more

I've been taking my dog to Just Pet Me for over 2 years, and he loves it! Everyone there knows him and loves him. When I drop him off, his tail is wagging and he happily trots in to see his little buddies. The staff really cares about the dogs. My dog is always happily tired when I pick him up. I've recommended Just Pet Me to many friends and coworkers and they've all been happy with the care their pets have received. My dog has always been clean when I picked him up. Rosie, our 4 year old black lab, has been going to Just Pet Me for over 3 years. Every time we drop her off, she is excited to be there and can't wait to join her friends. The staff at "JPM" seem to be total "dog people" and love each and every one of their "clients". Rosie loves the staff at JPM, and it is clear that they know how to handle and manage dogs. I have been boarding my dog-baby (a terrier mix) here since 2007. In the years since, my life has changed drastically (moves, marriage, human-babies) but one constant that has remained is my dog's enthusiasm whenever we're heading to JPM. The staff seem genuinely excited to see my dog whenever she visits. In fact, they remember her by name even when I'm calling to book a playdate. They often share some of their favorite aspects of her personality that they look forward to interacting with when she arrives. I feel like they have taken the time to really get to know her. My pooch is happy and exhausted when I return from trips. She usually falls asleep on the couch as soon as we get home from JPM. The staff's dog knowledge and appreciation really shows with every interaction. I feel like my dog is truly loved and appreciated by everyone at JPM and that warms my dog-mom heart when I have to be away from my pooch. read more

I will not be taking my lil guy back to Just Pet Me. My husband and I have been bringing our dog to just pet me for the past 6 months. We have used their services about a dozen times. Unfortunately the last time we dropped off our sweetheart we decided enough was enough. First, Our dog is crate trained and when we brought in his crate. I asked them to keep him in the crate at night. When we picked him up and brought him home that evening we tried to put him back in his crate and it was like starting all over again with the crate training arghhhhh. Second, my husband and I have never been asked to see their facility and it makes us feel very uneasy on where our lil boy is playing. Third, our lil guy has come home smelling like pee and has been sick with colds, flu's, and infections the past few months and we are afraid that he isn't having the care we have been told he is getting. Lastly, the past two visits we picked him up he was wet and shivering. Enough is enough, time for a better boarding and daycare service. Any recommendations? read more

I realize that I am new to the dog owner gig; however I am probably to most nervous about sending my dog to Just Pet Me. All I can say after 2 weeks is my dog is so happy and her personality has changed from a painful shy girl to a confident diva. I love how excited she is when I park the car in front of the building and how happy she is to see me in the evening. Instead of bashing this place, let's work with Julie and Ruby. These women are providing a wonderful service for a modest price. By the way, some of the incidents that have been mentioned are things that could happen to any dog in any situation. I am thoroughly pleased with this wonderful little place where my dog can get the love that she gets at home. Don't let your ego and attitude keep you from providing quality daycare for your dog.... I wish I had consulted Yelp before bringing my kitty here. Like most pet owners, I'm protective and highly concerned with my cat's well-being. I found JPM via Google; their website appeared professional and over the phone the employees sounded like very sweet and genuine pet lovers. JPM is very enthusiastic about bringing personal items (blankets, toys, food, etc) which is very important to me because I don't want my kitty feel abandoned. My cat is also VERY attention needing, and I was happy to hear that they are diligent about playing with him every day. Here goes my detailed experience: Dropping him off: When I finally made the trip down my experience was very different than expected. First off, the place was a mess, and the employees were very disorganized. They were very nice and friendly, however it seemed like they did not know what they were doing, as if I was their first customer ever. I set my stuff down and they immediately began emptying the bags and taking kitty's stuff into the back before even consulting me! After filling out my paperwork, I told them I was ready to take kitty to his cage and set up his blanket etc. To my shock, no one is allowed into the area the cats are kept!!! WTF?! If I wasn't pressed for time, I would have left immediately. So I explained his food regiment, treats, and showed his laser pointer, which they seemed excited about, and said my goodbyes. I left feeling a bit disheveled, like it all happened too fast. Picking him up: I walked in the door as an employee was seeing off another customer. The employee then walked into the back, without ever acknowledging me and simply disappeared. I stood there alone, the only customer, for about 5 mins, watching someone through the glass. That person had clearly seen me the whole time, but not until I made an exasperated motion toward him did he go find another employee to help me. Finally, after about 10 minutes my cat was brought out. I looked through the bag of my belongings and noticed his blanket was wet with cat pee. (Considering Kitty is impeccably potty trained, I was very unsettled about that). Then, I couldn't find his laser pointer, his favorite toy. I asked where it was, everyone looked confused because they didn't know what I was talking about, but checked his cage again. It was nowhere to be found. They INSISTED I never brought it, even showing me his list of belongings, despite the fact that I remember showing it to them. The woman went onto defend how meticulous they are, and how well they care for cats, and even wash their blankets if they get soiled. I was too annoyed to even bring up that they had just returned a pee soaked blanket to me. I just wanted to leave. JPM called me just as I got in my car and said "we found your laser." BAM!... how humiliating after she just defended herself for 5 minutes! Driving away, I couldn't help but wonder if they even played with Kitty at all, seeing as how not one of the employees even knew he had a toy with him. If they did play with him, it certainly was NOT with the one toy I left for them. I would never recommend this place, or bring any animal here again. read more

Took my dog in for an assessment prior to placement in the doggie daycare. The staff is friendly, but seem to lack the basic knowledge of how to approach a dog. One staff came up to my dog sticking her hand in my dog's face, and that is not how one greets a dog! Of course, she got "yelled" at by my dog and had to back away. That was red flag #1. Then, they had to take my dog in for a meet and greet with another dog. Now, my dog is not the most socialized , and behaves very differently with other dogs when on vs off leash. They came back to me within a minute. I did not have the privilege to view how the interaction went, but if I could guess so correctly, they probably marched my dog up with her leash on to meet with the other dog. True enough, we were denied admission. I heaved a sigh of relief. I wouldn't want people with little basic knowledge of dog behavior to look after my dog. I have been to another doggie daycare where they spent TWO hours assessing your dog. They even took off the leash, and allow the dogs to sniff each other one at a time. We are very disappointed and upset with our experiences at Just Pet Me. Our dog has been one of the regulars at the daycare since the opening of the business. However, there have been many incidences, some minor and others more serious, throughout the years where we ended up bringing our dog to the veterinarian after a day at the daycare, whether for an exam, treatment, and/or medication. Examples of these incidences include dehydration, minor scratches/abrasions, behavioral changes, vomiting, and diarrhea. Every time we bring our dog home, he is extremely dehydrated and drinks water as if he has not been drinking for a long time. This doesn't apply to our dog....my friend who tried out the daycare had the same experience with her dog. There has also been an incident where our dog came back from the daycare with what appears to be a pretty traumatic behavioral change. He was not only afraid of us, his owners and family members, backing up when we approached him, but also being scared of us touching/petting him. It was so extreme that he squealed and defecated in fear when we wanted to pet him. We have never seen him in such fear before. FORTUNATELY, he gradually got over that. The most recent incident not only left our dog vomiting and having bloody diarrhea when he got home, but cost us close to $800 in veterinarian examinations and medical fees. We brought our dog to the daycare for a 3-hour play date. When he came home, not only did he not want to eat, but started to vomit and had bloody diarrhea for the next few days. Again, we ended up bringing him to our vet for an examination the next day when his vomiting and diarrhea worsened. Bogi had blood tests and x-rays done to make sure he did not swallow any foreign objects causing him to bleed internally. It turned out our dog had Enteritis, an inflammation or infection of the intestines which usually results from drinking contaminated water or ingestion of toxins, irritants, or being allergic to certain foods. We are extremely careful with what we feed our dog and he has never had any similar problems before. We are also very disappointed that when we call to check on our dog's condition, especially on warmer days fearing that he might be dehydrated, there usually is nobody there to answer the phone. Even if we leave a voice message, not only are calls not returned within a couple of hours or within the same day, but they usually are not returned at all. Our dog has always been a healthy dog. However, each time he goes to the daycare, we are very afraid that he will end up at the vets again afterwards and many times he did, in fact. Not only are these costly visits, at the same time, it also puts our dog through unnecessary traumatic experiences. Needless to say, we will not be bringing our dog back to the daycare. What kept us going back in the past was seeing our dog's joy in playing with other dogs at the daycare and what we thought were minor coincidental mishaps. However, these incidences are occurring too frequently and we no longer believe that they are coincidental. We believe they are the result of carelessness and irresponsibility on the part of the owner(s)/manager(s)/staff. We refuse to endure such costly experiences, whether monetarily or physically for our dog nor do we trust our dog in the hands of the daycare. Our dog's well-being will always be our first and foremost focus and therefore, we will not put him in any situation that would compromise his well-being. We do not recommend this daycare. read more

Just 3 stars because they are difficult to get a hold of -- left 2 voicemails with no call back, the email option on their website didn't work, and then when I called the next day their message says to call another number (which was the number I called). Finally after a separate email they reveal that they require all dogs and owners to do an "assessment" at least 1 day beforehand. They offered me an appointment in the middle of the afternoon. If I was available to drop in just to say hello, why would I need a doggie daycare? Lost a customer in me; maybe we're just not cut out for "country club" life. read more
