The place is pretty small but definitely worth it if you're trying to have a quick meal while attending the Pax convention. Their location is literally just outside the Summit building making super convenient. The staff were super hospitable and friendly. I have no idea if they have parking but most restaurants in Seattle are just street parking anyway. And their location is like a corner of lot it's a very odd spot if I am being honest. The food I got was one poke and one kalua pork rice meal. I asked for some crab salad for an extra dollar. The kalua pork is honestly just so so because it is bit dry. But I think because their poke place to begin with so I would recommend to stick to their poke menu. read more

Just Poke is right outside my hotel, and having fallen in love with Hawaiian food in Lihue, it was a perfect choice, the order is taken speedily, and the bowl composed right in front of me. I had the rainbow roll bowl, and it was just like I remember from the islands! Hubby got a spicy salmon bowl and he said it was tasty with a spicy kick. We both also got bowls of warming and comforting miso soup. The shop is little, typical of a traditional poke shop, it's brightly colored, clean with an attentive and friendly staff. They offer lots of great options, and we chose to build our own poke bowls. Everything was incredibly fresh--the fish was delicious, and the toppings were plentiful. I loved being able to add edamame, ginger, masago, cucumbers, and so much more. Their sauce selection was another highlight--staff even gave us tips on how to mix or combine sauces for unique flavors, which made the meal even better. They have preset poke bowl options and the ingredients are prepped and ready to go so I was in line for maybe 5 minutes. I found the service to be quick and efficient. This was ideal because I did not have a lot of time between activities at my conference. There is limited seating so I would suggest taking your food to go. I got the tofu poke bowl and was excited to have a mixture of fresh veggies and tofu. The food is what you would expect from a poke place. For the large poke bowl, I got the salmon, Hawaiian tuna, and scallops, with all the fixings that usually are featured in a poke bowl in America - crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumbers, corn, and many other toppings. Price for quantity is solid, but the quality was not as great as I had hoped. The major thing in a poke bowl is freshness of the sashimi, and I did not quite see that in here. The salmon cuts were tough, and the tuna and scallops did not taste particularly fresh. The other stuff were good - crab salad and seaweed salad were flavorful and carried the dish. Spam musubi was fairly standard yet filling, a bit on the sweeter side but just the right preparation for me. On June 27 around 6 pm we ate at Just Poke Olive Way. The first thing we noticed was the person waking the food used her hand (in a plastic glove) to take food - including raw fish - from various containers and place it in the bowl. It didn't feel very sanitary, but we thought they must know what they are doing... Well 3 hours later I started to feel very sick with high fever and stomach cramps and nausea. I was severely sick the entire weekend with fever, massive headaches and total loss of appetite (and I also got a UTI from the bacteria). This was my birthday weekend and we drove to Seattle to relax and have fun but instead I spent the entire weekend severely sick in the hotel room. Please stay away from this place if you don't want to take a chance with your health. They are a health hazard! read more
