Hawaiian Classic
Jinny C.

I ordered the Hawaiian classic bowl and it was pretty good. The poke was saltier than I'd like and the ginger as a whole topping is a bit odd so I'll order different option next time. I also got a cup of miso soup but had to ask the employee to toss it after I tasted a spoonful as it was clearly just warm water. It was as if they ran out of miso soup and added just water to what little soup they had left in the pot. The staff were friendly and the store has good seating options. I might be back to try a different menu.

Rainbow Roll and Spam Musubi

Office lunch, my order was rainbow roll, half salad and half brown rice, it was plain at first than my coworker gave me his green sauce, not sure what is but it did make my bowl better. The fish tasted fresh, big slices of guacamole, and big scoop of imitation crabs (I think it was imitation). I also got spam Masubi, I was surprised that the spam was not salty which was good. My coworker got a sear scallops, I had a bite, they used medium size scallops and it did not taste fishy. It was tender and not over cooked.

Love this!

Definitely my favorite location. I've been to at least eight different locations, and the Issaquah employees are always the happiest, friendliest, and most generous with their servings. It's consistently a great place to eat. Plus, I haven't had any quality issues like old rice at this location. Everything is perfectly fresh even in the middle of the afternoon.

I'm a fan of Just Poke, and it's great to see this business doing well and expanding to other locations throughout the area, including this one in Issaquah where I work at sometimes. So of course when my colleague and I learned that it was International Poke Day, we had to come here for lunch, which was solid. Just Poke in Issaquah is located along Gilman in the shopping complex where REI and Safeway is located. We came here during a weekday for lunch and the place was pretty busy, but the line went by fast, due to the many employees working here. This location had some seating inside, which was spacious enough. As always, I usually build my own bowl and get a large size, which comes with three scoops of protein. Of all the fish, I liked the Hawaiian ahi tuna the best as it was already marinated with the sauce and seasonings. Everything here will be satisfying for any raw fish lover though, and I just love how healthy, fresh and light the poke bowls from Just Poke are. It's great to know there's one in Issaquah where I find myself often.

Poke bowl to go.

Let's face it, this past year has been tough - for sooo many reasons (and way too many to list here). But one of the good things that's happened has been discovering so many wonderful new places for takeout. And one of my faves is Just Poké. In fact, they've pretty much become a weekly habit. First, Just Poké is fresh. I've never had a poke bowl there that didn't taste perfectly fresh. And when you're eating a bowl full of raw fish - well, freshness is pretty important. My fave is the ahi (tuna) and spicy ahi, and my daughter loves their salmon. Next, their selection of toppings, sauces and add-ons is second to none. They're like the Subway of poké! My fave add-ons are the avocado ($1 extra, but it's a generous portion) and the crab salad (no extra charge). I also love their crunchy onion and furikake toppings. And I've never had a sauce there that wasn't delicious. I also need to give a shoutout to their spam musubi...I always order two, because they make a great snack the next day. Recently they also added "torched" (aka seared) options to their menu. I've only tried the torched ahi, but it was quite good. I wish the torched items were available as a regular protein option (along with, say, spicy ahi), but if there's a way to order my bowl with torched as one of my proteins I haven't figured it out yet (at least not using their online ordering). I recently learned this chain in locally-based, which makes me love it even more. Thanks Just Poké for helping me get through 2020 (and beyond) with your delish poké.

My Hawaiian Classic with Ahi Poke - love the spicy crab topping!

Craving for Poke bowls and Acai Bowls while in Washington? Just Poke is the place to go! Several varieties of poke available. For the base you can pick white or brown rice as well as salad amongst the many options and toppings galore at no additional cost! Love the spicy crab topping! Their Acai bowls are almost as good as ones found back in Hawaii. We had the OG bowl. I think if they added some other tropical fruit like mango and some drizzle of honey it would be just like the ones I'm used to eating back home in Hawaii. Spam Musubis also available if you are craving those too! The store is tastefully decorated. I would have loved to be able to savor my bowls inside amongst the cute and whimsical decor if not for COVID-19 restrictions.

Really weak on amount of protein you get. Shrimp Tempura add on is one small piece and don't even see the avocado I paid extra for.

Supporting local restaurants during COVID-19. Ordered for pick-up. Online ordering via Yelp. Process was easy. Ordered 3 regular size build your own. Online ordering runs you through the process Ingredients were fresh. Spicy Ahi Tuna had a pretty good kick to it. Servings are generous. My build your own: Zuchinni noodles, spicy ahi tuna, salmon, cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, tempura crunchy bits with ginger citrus sauce and citruz ponzu sauce (in hind sight, should've stuck with one sauce).

Just Poke have always been my go to place and it never disappointed. It's my first time to the Issaquah location, but the food is still good in quality as other locations and the portions are amazing. I love that their are new proteins and toppings. I got the tuna tataki and the tuna as my protein. As for my toppings and filling, I basically got everything except the ones that costed extra. The amount they put in the bowl is a lot. I definitely got full at the end but did not fill heavy. I guess I haven't had poke in a while but the bowl was very satisfying :)

Definitely stop by this place and support your local community. The poke here is fresh, healthy and made to order of your choosing. Give this place a try and create your own poke bowl. It comes in two sizes: Regular with your choice of 2 proteins or 3 proteins for a Large. Unlimited toppings and dressing of your choice. 1) Select your base (sushi rice, brown rice, mixed greens or half rice and half mixed greens). 2) Pick your proteins (shrimps, salmon, tuna, scallops, seared spicy ahi, spicy tuna, tofu, or roasted potatoes). I ordered the mixed greens with salmon and spicy tuna. It was delish!

Issaquah desperately needed a poké place, so I'm glad that Just Poké finally made an appearance! Like most poké places, you get to customize your own bowl or choose one of their bowl creations. They have a LOT of different options so you definitely have a lot of choices and ways of customizing your bowl. Their selection includes: Proteins: salmon, ahi, spicy ahi, seared ahi, tako, and creamy scallops. They have a vegetarian option too. They also have rotating special proteins. Mix-Ins: mango, onion, green onion, sesame seeds, sesame oil, edamame, and jalapeños. Sauces : eel sauce, shoyu, shoyu sesame, Yuzu, volcano, and like 10 other options that I can't remember off the top of my head. Red labeled Toppings (choose 2): cucumber salad, kimchi, spicy crab salad, regular crab salad, seaweed salad, spicy edamame salad, avocado (+$1) Yellow labeled Toppings (choose as many as you want): Mango, watermelon radish, tobiko, cucumber Crunchies: fried onion, wonton chips, furikake, etc. With so many choices, I decided to try a little of basically everything. I got a regular brown rice bowl, creamy scallops, seared ahi, volcano sauce (mix of eel sauce and sriracha), sesame oil, crab salad, cucumber salad, watermelon radish, jalapeños, mango, tobiko, sesame seeds and edamame. It tasted amazing and gave me the heat I was craving! Service was great; They were friendly, efficient and made recommendations throughout the process. Unlike the one in Factoria, this Just Poké also sell açaí bowls which I will hopefully go back for soon. I wish Just Poké had punch cards or some sort of reward program. Otherwise, it was definitely a 5/5 star experience and I look forward to coming back again soon!

Inside is always so clean and open

Usually I am so against chains. Except for Chipotle because their food is worth it. Just Poke is another "worth it" chain. The food tastes the same at all the locations. Which is nice because that way I know what to expect. I love a place that let you make a bowl. Hence my love for chipotle. I'm able to put fish and so many fixings on my greens-it's like an upgraded salad! The fish at these places is always so fresh! And the service is fast and friendly. Appreciated! One of our favorite spots!

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. Mac salad and a coleslaw was also included. They also have an assortment of small sauces to go, ranching from one star and up. I picked the crying tiger sauce, teriyaki and chili oil . This is a hefty mixed plate, enough for two or to have as leftovers for me. The beef is my favorite, seasoned and sauced well.
