The sushi lover in me felt like she was at a candy store when I walked in. The selection can get a little overwhelming especially since it gets so busy quickly and people behind you are also waiting for you to make your selection. But the fact that there are choices including poke bowls make this place amazing - to be a one-stop shop for all your sushi or poke bowl cravings. This spot being in the busy part of Bellevue, parking is not the easiest but it's worth the drive. The quality of fish and other ingredients + the price make FOB Poke Bar very competitive. My sister makes it a tradition to take us whenever we visit the west side from Spokane and it's a tradition we'll keep for sure.

It was a mom and daughter day when we decided to try out this joint. Now this is Bellevue, in the city, so parking was not the easiest. We got in and all was easy. It'slocated on the lower level of the building. A lil dim in the place. Can we talk about the rolls because they were huge and the variety AMAZING. I've been to the Seattle location and the rolls were much smaller and limited variety. The staff here were nice and helpful. They stayed on top of any mess left behind. I'm coming back!!!!! Yummzy!!!

$14.99/lbs sushi and it was surprisingly delicious! They also have self serve sauce, water and other utensils. Service is great and there are tables for casual dining.

FOB Poke Bar is a gem! I love this concept so much and wish we had something like this in the Bay Area. We visited for a late Wednesday lunch when they weren't too busy. I imagine this place gets packed during peak hours though! They had a poke area but we went straight for the sushi. Basically, you take a box and tongs and fill your box with any sushi variety you want - signature rolls, aburi sushi, nigiri, sashimi, inari, etc. The selection was incredible and I LOVED the ability to mix and match. At the end, you just pay based on weight and pricing was very reasonable. The aburi sushi was my favorite (because I'm generally obsessed with it) but I was impressed with every single item. The interior had plenty of seating as well, with a chill, laid-back ambiance. FOB couldn't be more perfect for a quick, delicious meal!

Great food, fun selecting your own poke bowl or sushi. Waited about 20 minutes, but line went quickly. Free ginger and sauces to complement.

FOB Sushi is a super convenient spot, especially if you're looking for something quick and easy. The concept is simple grab a box, pick the sushi you want, and it's priced by weight. Me and my wife each got a box, and everything we tried was fresh and really good. They also have a wide variety of options, so there's plenty to choose from no matter what you're craving. In the same area, you can also build your own poke bowl, which is a nice option if you want something a little different. The place is clean and has plenty of seating, both indoors and outside, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your food. The customer service was friendly and welcoming. Quick, simple, lots of choices perfect for a grab-and-go sushi stop

Sushi was acceptable but not anything special, but getting to choose individual rolls is a great touch! It was a bit hard to find on the weekend, but the inside was cute and easy to find seating at off hours.

I didn't expect much but food deserves 4.5 stars! Fish was fresh. Anything with salmon is so good. Got the rolls, nigiri. Came on a holiday. It was raining but a ton of seating area. Street parking.

Love the idea. Love the execution. I ordered sushi by the pound. The selection of rolls, inari, gunkan, and ngiri was robust. I tried to restrain myself but I did end up getting about 10 pieces of this and that. The fish quality impressed, especially in a buffet setting. At $15 per pound, my lunch set me back about $20, and I was stuffed. My wife was happy with her poke bowl. Pro tip for the vegetarians, the bowls are only about $12 if you opt out of protein scoops, and you get unlimited toppings which include tofu. Obviously geared towards office workers, we were the only family there. Be warned, there are no good parking options.

I love both of the Fob sushi locations we have available to us in Washington. This area is in downtown Bellevue so very hard to find parking (there is an unloading zone across the street that people seem to stop by to grab quick orders though). I sent my husband inside while I waited in the car and even at 3:45 P.M., there was a little line. Everything was fresh as usual and he mentioned that there was a lot more seating available than the Seattle location. Everything is always fresh and tasty, and they constantly refill/replace the sushi. I feel the quality is very good and love the fast casual experience.

Self-serve nigiri: scallop, tuna, yellowtail and eel.

FOB Poke Bar -- this concept just works. The moment we walked in, I knew I was going to love it. On one side: build-your-own poke. On the other: self-serve nigiri priced by weight. It's streamlined, visually appealing, and dangerously easy to over-order. The space is sleek and clean, with a help-yourself pickled ginger and soy sauce station. The fish looked incredibly fresh and yes, yellowtail is available for poke (which immediately earned points with me). We ordered one regular and one large poke bowl, both with yellowtail only because that's our vibe. I chose spring mix as my base with FOB's ponzu-based sauce and a light drizzle of spicy mayo. Our poke bowls were thoughtfully assembled. Then we headed to the nigiri side and selected 14 pieces -- tuna, yellowtail, scallop, and eel. The nigiri were vibrant and beautifully prepared. By the time we reached the cashier with our nigiri box, our poke bowls were already waiting there for us. The entire flow felt efficient with zero chaos. The dining area was full, so we took everything back to the hotel and wow. The fish was buttery, fresh, and truly melt-in-your-mouth. Every bite tasted clean and high quality. This easily ranks as one of my favorite sushi/poke experiences. If they opened one near me, I'd definitely be a frequent customer. Next time I'm in WA, this is absolutely a repeat stop.

Surprisingly fresh fish! I especially love the scallops. I got exactly 1lb of sushi and was so full! Couldn't believe how tasty this was for sushi by the pound. Way better than grocery store sushi.

Amazing value pay-by-the-pound sushi. Each piece is substantial. My favorites were seared salmon nigiri (top right) and seared salmon inari with ikura (bottom left). The day I went spicy tuna was just okay. Service is efficient and the lines move fast. Plenty of casual seating for a quick bite.

    How does parking work here?

Parking is a huge challenge at FOB. The Options options are either street parking, which is very limited, or paid parking in a nearby garage.

One of my friends and I have already had their location in Georgetown countless times so we were happy to recommend our choices for our other friend this Friday evening around 7pm. Welp, we came into very full seating inside an extremely tight yet cozy seating area if it weren't for all the noise from there being so many people inside. It was so full and more people kept lining up behind us that we decided to do takeout and eat our food on the hood of my car despite spaces opening up as we waited about 20 or so minutes for our food... did I mention the parking lot for this place was nearly full and spots were very unforgiving in elbow room? Also that it's peak dinner time? Anyway, you place your order on a lone kiosk up front which did contribute to the really long line forming near the outside entrance. Like their Georgetown location, they offer a ton of hearty donburi and some appetizers and soup. Staff were a little rushed with some orders and forgot to give me utensils when I requested them through the kiosk but this didn't affect my overall experience, as I went back and they were more than happy to give them to me. We got their unagi donburi, which consists of a ton of broiled freshwater eel with an umami seasoning and tender juiciness, all on top of a huge bed of rice and with some radish. One of my friends instead got their una-gyu donburi which is a mix of unagi and sukiyaki beef, though that means we all got their unagi. Eel wasn't too salty, and scales are very fine and small that you can just eat it as is. This was a warming, hearty meal that sat very well with me and my friends. For this location and the one in Georgetown, I am most certainly coming back for some more!

My family got the aburi sake and volcano donburis and enjoyed their food as well. They have a wide variety of donburi options - fish, meat, katsu, and tofu. Definitely look forward to coming back for more. Not a large restaurant so the tables can fill up quite fast. Order at counter or kiosk and they serve the bowls to your table. You bus your own table after.

But the lunch omakase special is what I really wanted I think. But even so. The poke bowl was mixed. I have to unfortunately knock off the stars/taste because the rice I got was literally the worst rice I've ever had touching raw fish. The rice was like hard and stale. I even had a clump that looked like it was the burnt part from leaving it on the cooker for too long and it couldn't bite it. I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. The folks there were super nice and friendly especially since I had no idea what to order. Just wish I was more delighted by the meal, especially cuz it was like $18 poke bowl. I'll give it another try with hopes it's better next time.
