Still as good as I remember it. Good value. Fast. Clean. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a quick bite this is it.

This is a pay-by-weight sushi bar and BYO poke bowl. I came here on a Saturday (July 4th) and the line was super long. You grab a box and grab your sushi & weigh. They are great at replenishing all the sushi options. I got over a pound of sushi for about $20 ($16.99 a pound) - I could barely finish! The Poke Bar and the Sushi Bar are next to each other. There is no seating inside but it's located on the ground floor of an Amazon building where there are tables.

FOB Poke Bar is a really good spot for takeout sushi. It's on the bottom floor of an Amazon building so if you go during the week, expect a long line at lunch time and hoards of busy tech professionals. Post 1pm things open up. Parking is terrible because it is shared with employees. I must have looped down 7 floors. $15 for 2 hours.... Park elsewhere if you go. It's sushi by the pound so expect a cafeteria style line. You pick up your container, your tray, order your sushi and you're done. It's a very efficient operation and the sushi quality and variety is quite good. I'd definitely recommend for takeout as seating is pretty limited and in an atrium styled area at the bottom of stairs.

Was craving poke and so I decided to try it here. It's been a long time since i had their poke but it still as good as I remember. They give you a lot of food for the price. I think mostly people come for the sushi but the poke is as fresh and good quality. Service is good and the place is a little busy but there's plenty of seatings. I got the large bowl and it fed both me and my husband.

The sushi lover in me felt like she was at a candy store when I walked in. The selection can get a little overwhelming especially since it gets so busy quickly and people behind you are also waiting for you to make your selection. But the fact that there are choices including poke bowls make this place amazing - to be a one-stop shop for all your sushi or poke bowl cravings. This spot being in the busy part of Bellevue, parking is not the easiest but it's worth the drive. The quality of fish and other ingredients + the price make FOB Poke Bar very competitive. My sister makes it a tradition to take us whenever we visit the west side from Spokane and it's a tradition we'll keep for sure.

Randomly stopped here for lunch on our way to Vancouver bc. Gotta say exceeded all my expectations. This to go sushi spot with a decent amount of seating in a shared space. They have a ton of selection and the line moves very fast. Wish there was something like this in Portland would definitely come back everything was so tasty I got pretty much one of everything

It was a mom and daughter day when we decided to try out this joint. Now this is Bellevue, in the city, so parking was not the easiest. We got in and all was easy. It'slocated on the lower level of the building. A lil dim in the place. Can we talk about the rolls because they were huge and the variety AMAZING. I've been to the Seattle location and the rolls were much smaller and limited variety. The staff here were nice and helpful. They stayed on top of any mess left behind. I'm coming back!!!!! Yummzy!!!

this is a great spot for a fast bite to hit your sushi craving! super quick and easy self serve sushi bar with lots of seating. the fish is decent quality and they had a good selection of rolls and nigiri.

$14.99/lbs sushi and it was surprisingly delicious! They also have self serve sauce, water and other utensils. Service is great and there are tables for casual dining.

FOB Poke Bar is a gem! I love this concept so much and wish we had something like this in the Bay Area. We visited for a late Wednesday lunch when they weren't too busy. I imagine this place gets packed during peak hours though! They had a poke area but we went straight for the sushi. Basically, you take a box and tongs and fill your box with any sushi variety you want - signature rolls, aburi sushi, nigiri, sashimi, inari, etc. The selection was incredible and I LOVED the ability to mix and match. At the end, you just pay based on weight and pricing was very reasonable. The aburi sushi was my favorite (because I'm generally obsessed with it) but I was impressed with every single item. The interior had plenty of seating as well, with a chill, laid-back ambiance. FOB couldn't be more perfect for a quick, delicious meal!

FOB Sushi is a super convenient spot, especially if you're looking for something quick and easy. The concept is simple grab a box, pick the sushi you want, and it's priced by weight. Me and my wife each got a box, and everything we tried was fresh and really good. They also have a wide variety of options, so there's plenty to choose from no matter what you're craving. In the same area, you can also build your own poke bowl, which is a nice option if you want something a little different. The place is clean and has plenty of seating, both indoors and outside, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy your food. The customer service was friendly and welcoming. Quick, simple, lots of choices perfect for a grab-and-go sushi stop

This is a good to spot for when I'm working in downtown Bellevue, it is a bustling spot for lunch with lines out the door at 12 but the lines move pretty quick. The sushi is made fresh and they are constantly refilling the sushi on the line, the sushi is super tasty and they have such a great variety at a really good price for the amount of sushi you get, I don't typically eat there due to the crowds but great to grab and go

Love the idea. Love the execution. I ordered sushi by the pound. The selection of rolls, inari, gunkan, and ngiri was robust. I tried to restrain myself but I did end up getting about 10 pieces of this and that. The fish quality impressed, especially in a buffet setting. At $15 per pound, my lunch set me back about $20, and I was stuffed. My wife was happy with her poke bowl. Pro tip for the vegetarians, the bowls are only about $12 if you opt out of protein scoops, and you get unlimited toppings which include tofu. Obviously geared towards office workers, we were the only family there. Be warned, there are no good parking options.

    How does parking work here?

Parking is a huge challenge at FOB. The Options options are either street parking, which is very limited, or paid parking in a nearby garage.

Our server was so incredibly sweet, so accommodating and so patient with all of my questions and requests. I started off with the Lychee Sake-tini and I will be thinking about that drink for a longggg time, for someone who loves a fruity lil sweet drink it was perfection in every way. Then the FOOD. You can do hibachi or you can be seated in the dining room and I had my heart set on sushi (but now will be back to try hibachi for sure!). My partner ordered the pico sushi tower and the fried calamari. Both were very impressive serving sizes! She was feeling ambitious and was going to order 3 tapas, but ended up not even being able to finish the two. I ordered the sake bento box and WOW. I had had my heart pretty set on trying it going in because I had looked at the menu ahead of time, and was sad when the menu didn't have it listed as gluten free BUT I mentioned it to our server and she was happy to accommodate. I got to live my sushi bento box dreams We already are thinking of all the reasons and times to come back, 10000/10!!!

Not a lot of people there for a random weekday lunch. Lots of different rolls and sushi on the menu, along with beverages. The happy hour menu is also valid during lunch time. We tried a bunch of appetizers. My favorite was the calamari. There isn't much batter but there is a sweetness from orange zest. The edamame and takoyaki were decent. The chicken kaarage was not particularly flavorful nor did it have much of a crispy skin. Also tried the Cos-no-politan mocktail which definitely had that grapefruit flavor. For mains, I got the bento and the Super Bad Boy roll off the happy hour menu. The bento box has good portions. The contents change day to day, but I got chicken teriyaki over rice, 3 pieces of a crab roll, 2 pieces of fish nigiri, seaweed salad with some small octopi. Everything in the box was decent except the teriyaki, which was a bit rubbery. As for the Super Bad Boy roll, it's one of their fried rolls, and the frying made the roll taste a bit dry. Should have ordered a non-fried roll. Overall, service was good, portions okay. Some items were good, some were not that great.

Reservations were made ~3 weeks in advance for a reasonable dinner time slot on a weekend. We opted for the A La Carte Menu option which gave us the ability to order individual menu items while still offering omakase options. Our party of 4 ordered 2 omakase's (nigiri choice), a nigiri set, a salmon moriawase, and seasonal tempura. I personally ordered the omakase and the experience was well worth it with the sushi quality being extremely high. There were ~7 to 8 courses served throughout the omakase experience including 3 courses involving nigiri and the remaining courses involving a blend of small bites (egg, fish cake, tempura, sashimi, miso soup, dessert egg, hojicha ice cream to name a few). What especially stood out to me was the outstanding service that was displayed throughout the course of the meal. Our server was notably attentive and even went as far as switching the presentation of my nigiri courses after noticing I was left-handed so that I could eat from left to right while normally advising guests to eat from right to left. Every time one of us went to the restroom, our tablecloths were folded by our server and placed back onto the table. Tableware was immediately cleared upon finishing a course and every course in the omakase set came with a detailed description of the food you were about to eat and where in the world it was coming from. In all, the great food makes me want to be back soon, but the high level of service for the night completely made the experience that much more memorable.
