Found this place and thought it would be good to give it a try after reading the reviews on yelp. It was easy to made an appointment on Wednesday for a Friday. I booked for a manicure with gel polish and a regular pedicure. The staff was really friendly and I was helped right away when I got there. I am giving this place a 1 star because the pedicure and manicure are the worst I have ever gotten. The nail polish job is so sloppy. It looks like it was not done by a professional but by myself at home. I asked for the shape of my nails to be retouched and after the service I actually grabbed my nail file and reshaped them myself. This time it was not a big deal, they had an opening for Saturday but I will be calling ahead from now on. This place is really hit or miss. I've had my nails done here several times, the first was great and my gel manicure held up a solid 2 weeks and was well done. But my subsequent experiences have not been as good. I have left here with bloody cuticles on one occasion. Uneven nails on another and a pedicure that maybe lasted 20 minutes start to finish on another occasion. Needless to say, I don't plan to go back. I originally had driven passed this new salon many times but never stopped in because Iam that picky with my nails . For some women it's hair or makeup but for me, it's my nails . I was looking at reviews for salons near me and saw a fellow yelper give an amazing review of Lubda ( forgive me for the correct spelling . ) Upon arrival on a Friday afternoon at 3pm it was fairly quiet . Lubda sat in the first chair and greeted me with a warm hello and took me right away. She offered many times to make me hot tea , she says it was her speciality . I heard other employees offering customers drinks as well . She was incredibly knowledgeable and gentle with the fill . If you're familiar with acrylics you are aware how quick and haphazard some salons are . I really enjoyed her education of nail shapes and colors based on nail beds and hand size . She constantly asked if I felt ok and explained each thing that she did next . It was an average time frame for acrylic and shellac appointment . I enjoyed the quality and attention to detail so much that I will be going back ! I'm That person that is looking for clean and crisp edges , perfectly even polish and a very smooth flawless acrylic . Lubda has an eye for everything that I admire as she checked my nails for imperfections through out the appointment with out me asking . She even made them very thin and told me she dislikes thick gawdy acrylics , which i loved! Prices seemed average at 25 for afill . Update: I've been seeing Luba, and doing gel polish, and for the first time ever, my gel lasts me a full 3 weeks with no chips. I had switched to dip, because I couldn't get gel to stay, but once I switched to Luba, my manicure is perfect. If it weren't for the grow out, I could go even longer. The callouses on my feet were just as rough, or worse, when I was finished. I wanted to try this place out with my daughter. My daughter asked for a full set French tip and I only requested a polish change since I had a manicure recently. I selected a polish from the wall and waited. Both ladies that performed the service for my daughter and I were nice. But to me, a bit old school when it comes to designs which is why my daughter and I decided to test it out and keep our requests simple. I don't know how much simpler you can get with acrylic full set French tip and my simple polish change with gel polish. Well...first day a few hours later, I got peeling polish and it began to crack around the cuticles. Now it's day 6 and my nails look like I had a child paint them. I did ask her to correct some nails while I was there because I didn't appreciate the polish left on my skin and not edited. The lady said, she hates correcting nails. So that was a deal breaker for me. My daughter's nails don't resemble a single French tip at all. It looks like someone tried out acrylic for the first time and my daughter noticed the next day she had uneven nails. They weren't filed evenly. Here are the pics of first and sixth day. And the non existent French acrylic. We appreciated their time and didn't want to be rude, but geesh...never again. I don't know if it was the language barrier or not, but the two ladies we got, just rushed us out the door due to having some clients come in early and not enough help. The older one (who did my daughters nails) was throwing stuff around and upset because her coworker (the one that did my nails) who's older also, didn't help with setting up the pedicure tub for her early client. It was a whole thing. We just wanted to get out of there, we could tell we weren't going to get what we asked for. And making a point would only cause a scene with those women. There's another mail tech that sits in the front, if you go...schedule with her because I watched her do her clients nails...and she's great. Went for a quick pedicure for the first time since new owners. I was shown a brochure with two pedicures; one for $42 (30 minutes) and one for $52 (45 minutes). I said $42. She pointed out benefits of the more expensive one. I said no, just give me the cheaper one. She said something unintelligible, then gave me a 35 minute pedicure with hot stones and towel. She is so very knowledgeable and after hearing her educate me on why certain things are done the way she does them I honestly am in shock at how things were done so incorrectly at prior places I'd visited. I just happened to drive by this place and needed to get my nails done, so I decided to stop in. The lady who greeted me (manager and/or owner) was really inviting and welcoming. They were able to get me in right away. I wanted a polish change on my toes and gel polish change on my fingernails. Luba ended up doing my nails. I am BEYOND impressed with her ability. I don't think my nails have ever looked this great.... I can't stop looking at them! She took the time to explain why she was doing what she was doing (which was really nice, because I get my nails done all the time & never knew why they were doing what they were doing). I told her I like my nails round & she suggested a soft square and stated that in her opinion, it would go better with my nail beds. No one has ever suggested this to me - which is probably why I've always done round, because that's all I've known/done (and I'm a creature of habit). And I must say - she was absolutely right! I am SO SO happy with my whole experience here. I could tell Luba was taking her time to make my nails look amazing (although, she was still able to do both polish changes in under an hour) and she was very meticulous! Luba also asked me if I wanted a hot tea since her station was the first one closest to the door and because I had my shoes off and it was cold out. While I was getting my nails done the assumed manager/owner asked me if I wanted a water, a glass of wine, or anything else. I was looking forward to trying this salon since it's close to home and had a few good reviews. I'm new to the area and decided to give it a try. I came in to get a basic manicure, and left with super thick nail polish and got charged $20. I asked to have my nails filed, not cut but she did a poor job with them and my nails were not filed evenly and my nail polish started chipping the very next day!!! I've been getting manicures for over 15 years and the nail polish usually lasts me a week, sometimes more before I notice any chipping. I ended up removing the polish from the Manicure and did my own at home after filing them again to make them even and 4 days later no chips!! I also asked for a polish change on my toes and they charged me $15 for that. I wish I looked at their price board before I got started because that is a complete rip off. The polish on my toes has also been chipping like crazy. I will be going back to a different salon to get them fixed and will not be coming back to this salon. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I hope the owner can read this and make improvements in the salon so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Customer service is a big deal to me and I don't appreciate having the nail tech tell me how many years of experience she has and then ends up doing a very poor job. As I was walking out I tried to say bye and thank you even though I was very disappointed and she couldn't even look up and say anything back to me since she was too busy telling the next person how many years of experience she has. read more

I love this place! I had Darlene as my nail tech and she does such a great job of taking care of her clients. She asks lots of questions and always makes sure you're comfortable and happy with the progress. They offer refreshments which is really nice if you're in for things like pedicures especially. My nails have lasted perfectly for a week so far. You're given a lot of options for designs that you can either choose a default sample or create your own and it's so fun. My mom and I decided to get our nails done before traveling out of the country. We both got tips, acrylic, and gel, at $55 per person. With my manicure less than two weeks old, three of my nails broke. The left pinky came off completely while I had my hands in my winter coat pockets, the right thumb tip broke while I was shopping, and the left middle finger (again came off completely) while opening a cabinet. While I was at the salon, the tech was attempting to glue the tips on my natural nails, but she had three lots of dried up nail glue. Eventually she was able to get one working, but before she was finished filing them into shape, four of the tips had popped off. I was not impressed while she kept repeating "I don't know why this is happening." Neither my mom nor I had our cuticles pushed back in order to lengthen the life of the manicure, if not for the acrylic, I'd have called it a simple polish change, not a manicure. Worst experience of my life.... I made an appointment for 2pm and when I arrived an older lady asked if I was getting a manicure and pedicure. I told her it was for a full set and pedicure. She said no no no you don't want that. Just get a manicure.... I was very confused and just said ok. She had me sit down and started my pedicure. Asked if I wanted the length shorter and I told her yes... well I guess her idea of shorter is ramming the cuticle clippers under my nail and making me bleed. Yes, she said sorry about 1,000 times but maybe if she wasn't so distracted by her phone and talking to everyone else in the salon maybe she would have been more careful. On top of that she was tossing the bottle buildup into my pedicure bowl!!! I found that absolutely f***ing disgusting. Another girl walks in and said she had an appointment at 2pm also.... Come to find out that was actually the older ladies appointment. Her and the other tech discussed they would just switch us when they both got done (I was actually happy about this) As she was getting ready to put the polish on my toes another person walks in and after a few minutes it seems like she is the manager or possibly the owner... Well the older lady stops what she is doing and starts telling her a story, as I'm waiting for her to paint my toenails like my time means absolutely nothing to her. She's finally done telling her story and finishes my toenails...then tells me I'll have to wait for the other tech to get done and it will be about 30 minutes!! I kindly said I can't wait that long as I have someplace to be. So I got my things, paid $44 and left. I'm sorry but I wouldn't have paid $10 for this awful pedicure and probably should have said something but I honestly didn't want to make a scene. Don't waste your time or money!!!!! read more

I went in between manicures for a polish change because it had chipped in less than a week (3 days after my manicure) the first time, and they offer that at no charge which is nice - but now I've had my new polish on for 4 days and it is already chipping.
