Big Just Salad fan. It's in my workday day lunch rotation. The service is efficient and fast. This is not a sit down and let's enjoy a long meal type of place. It definitely caters to people with a limited time to eat. They recently put in a few tables which they didn't have before. It's bright and welcoming. A few of my favorite salads are the Crispy Chicken Poblano, Thai Chicken Crunch, Chicken Caesar and Buffalo Chicken. You can make wraps out of them too. I tried chicken thighs on my salad which gave it so much flavor! I always get dressing on the side. 4 great ingredients were included- but they offer over 20 items to pick. I can't Just-ify eating here again, and if there's any Just-ice, then I won't have to. There are a few good salad chains in the country and then there are masses of really bad ones and for me this is one of the really bad ones. While the ingredients for this bowl were simple, the proportions were balanced, and the sauce was not too heavy and tied everything together well. I had a bizarre experience here today. I was in a hurry and needed a cup of ice for my not-so-cold juice. I popped into this local business and asked for one and was informed that they charged $1, and they only take cards. I agreed, paid, and was the. Told that they only have paper cups with no lids, and no actual ice cubes, just crushed ice. I was give a paper cup with a ball of crushed ice in it. It immediately crushed and fell from my hands as I left. I called corporate and asked for my $1 back. They told me it was a franchise and I should go back and take it up with the owner. Over $1. A coupon or simple refund would have been fine, even after the hustle and inconvenience. Instead they've asked me to return to the location, as their "customer relations" team does not actually take responsibility for the actions of their franchisees. I'll probably avoid the salad if they can't get putting ice in a cup right. read more

The food is NOT worth the drive I made from the Bronx. It certainly isn't worth the prices that are posted on their menu. Thank goodness I used my GoodToGo app to purchase a dinner meal. For $4.99, I received a brown rice bowl with button mushrooms, bok choy, breaded chicken and tofu pieces. PROS: Generous portion. The button mushrooms were tasty! CONS: Brown rice - Undercooked/hard rice most likely due to uneven cooking. Bok choy- It was disgusting. Super super salty. Way too much soy sauce. Breaded chicken- Overly salted as well. Some pieces were burnt and inedible Tofu was dry and flavorless. Would highly recommend staff in taste testing the food before it is put out in the counter. Due to food quality, I felt ripped off even at a price of $4.99. Interior appears clean and organized. Staff could be more friendlier. Their demeanor is abrupt. No smiles. The food is great and fresh & if you don't see something you like the staff will help you and make you something you will love. And that staff is phenomenal-every single one, but today I want to shout out Dynasty who quickly became someone I'm always happy to see working. Loved the chicken shawarma plus we added our own toppings to customize it. They fill the bowl so full you have to take it out and toss the dressing in a larger bowl (not complaining though!) The location is here in my neighborhood and today this was my first order, which I placed by mobile app. Menu details and ordering with the app was clear and straightforward. Order was ready for pickup at specified time and the bowl was labelled and waiting just inside the front door on pickup shelf. Easy. California Cobb had ample fresh ingredients, including pieces of avocado, cooked split "jammy" egg, grape tomatoes, with balsamic vinaigrette in separate small container and a piece of bread under the cover (as optionally specified in app order). Price was $13.99 (+tax) but with -$5 first app order discount total I paid was 9.79, which seems to be quite a good value. I was enjoying the salad and was thinking five stars as I was near finishing but then, from under the last few bits of romaine, a small bug crawled out (about the size and color of the chopped almonds) and up the side of the bowl. I removed it . Being a realist, I suppose that could and does probably happen in so many places that serve menus including fresh fruit, nut, and vegetable ingredients...also, I think, unwittingly, like most modern humans I've probably unwittingly eaten ten to twenty pounds of live insects in the course of my lifetime...still, I suppose, I'm about as modern as they get and if Armageddon arrives sometime during my lifetime I might have to get used to eating fresh live insects for survival, nonetheless the experience with the creepy-crawler turned me off a bit. I suspect that, in time, my overly civilized and pampered pre-frontal cortex might overcome the current lingering reluctance to order any more salads here because of the image of live insects (whom I generally like and respect as long as they stay out of my food) might fade and perhaps I'll re-order from here. Also, as much as I otherwise enjoyed it, not sure I'll be willing to pay over $14 (including tax) for this kind of salad in the future, but we'll see. Before the little bugger appeared was thinking maybe four or five stars; they don't have half stars here so I'll give it a 3 even though objectively it was more than that. read more
