One of the best wraps I've had. I loved the fresh tortillas and the different varieties!

Was in the third Avenue area, and google / yelp recommended me this place. I was actually looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant and this popped up Google also has this as a Mediterranean restaurant., but I'm not really sure if it is .. this look like a rap salad sandwich place with less of Mediterranean and more of healthy food.. service could be better.. the guy making the wrap was also taking orders and hence was less interested in answering questions.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself was small inside to sit and eat . They just had two small chairs and there's no way you're sitting there and eating amongst so many other people waiting for their order.. It's mostly a takeout place which I did not know...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the wrap was ready in. 5 mins , which was good :) Food tasted great though.. I had to go through the whole menu and look at the description of every menu item to order. I finally ordered a once in a blue moon wrap, and it was really good... Always in search of a solid gourmet wrap option. I'll say while I didn't feel like the wraps were out of this world, if I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular here. We grabbed the Underworld and the Wolverine (special). The latter was definitely my favorite and I really enjoyed the turmeric wrap. The process of them putting dough into the press to make a wrap is a skosh gimmicky but I don't even mind it. I really also enjoyed the egg addition to this wrap. The Underworld was also pretty good and I would probably have this in my rotation. I do feel like things sound a bit better than they ended up being. Also, the prices are high but the portions are huge, so whether you make this into two meals to justify the price is another decision. They do have some other sauces you can add on at your leisure which we enjoyed. First of all they have ~flavored tortillas~. Second of all i love a good variety of textures in my foods and this HAD IT with the pickles and potato chips crushed inside. Also, i am not usually a fan of raisins but that shit paired soooooo well with the rest of the wrap, gave it a cinnamon-y kick to the rest of the wrap. I've only ever been to the uws location once but it left quite an impression on me. Today I went to the movies and needed to eat after. I saw there was a wolfnights near by and happily went. I ordered the pink moon and got a side salad. But truth be told when I saw how much greens they put in the wrap I didn't even eat the salad. The menu is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I had a really hard time choosing. Good thing I stared at the menu for a while online before going in. I eventually went with the "Brother's Grimm Bowl (GF, KO)- grilled chicken, pickled shitake mushrooms, raisins, pickles, plantain chips, chipotle aioli." I got mine without raisins & with tahini instead of chipotle aioli, since I can't do spice. It cost about $17. The only thing is the shiitake mushrooms didn't taste pickled. The grilled chicken was really good. You might wanna mix everything cuz the salad is on the bottom. It was love at 1st bite for me. The salad is fresh. There's such a mix of flavors & textures & it surprisingly works out in a good way. I wish they had locations in Queens. I was so excited for this, because I hadn't had it in three years. I was sad there were no tater tots but I still wanted the Direwolf. I watched the pictured employee rubbing his face and nose and licking his fingers while eating a bag of chips. He did not wash his hands, just threw on gloves and then made my food and wrapped it. When I asked for a refund, they offered to make it again but he went straight for his gloves and I no longer could stomach it. I was refused a refund. I'd avoid because if you can't bother to pretend to be hygienic in front of customers what are you doing behind the scenes?! read more

I went to this spot a while ago for lunch. They have a few other locations with most of them having pretty rave reviews with all of them being around a 4. They specialize in gourmet wraps and most of the poor reviews here come from delivery and well wraps get soggy in delivery so it's unfortunately expected. I got the Howling with fried chicken wrapped in date & pumpkinseed dough with fried pickles, feta, melon, mint, & yogurt sauce. The wrap had a good texture and the chicken inside was alright. My favorite thing inside was the melon which was unique and added an occasional good crunch. The feta and yogurt added a touch of sourness as well. Tasty/would go back. read more

I generally don't get too excited about wraps, but Wolfnights takes this boring staple to the next level, with interesting fillings that combine texture, spice, acid, fat, and salt in clever ways. Take the Dire Wolf-- fried chicken meets melted cheddar, green papaya slaw, spicy pickled peppers, wrapped in a ginger dough. I've also enjoyed the Pink Moon-- grilled shrimp, fried pickles, jalapeno peppers, kohlrabi, sage aioli wrapped in a beet & chia seed dough. The flavored doughs really tie all the wraps together. This location is very tiny, with just a few seats by the window and a few tables outside to eat in during temperate weather. I've often felt very suffocated by the heat and smoke while inside-- the food smell sticks to my clothes even if I've only been inside for a few minutes. So I prefer to take my food to go. read more

I've gone two times and have gotten the vegan wrap both times. It's good but I think there's room for improvement. It's not flavorful enough and I like the fake meat, but it's a little salty. Woohoooooo!!! Finally a restaurant in Murray Hill knows how to do takeout right! The food is delicious, the quantity is more than appropriate, the options are great--and they follow the requests, and the delivery is on-time and intact. I had three different orders (all wraps) on three different days this year, and the last one compelled me to write this review. The Brothers Grimm wrap plus cheddar and goat cheese was incredibly delicious. My only criticisms are: - A little too pricey (just the base items) -- give some lesser cost options - Adding cheddar cheese shouldn't be $3.50, that's too much even though I love cheese... come on now... - Add some desserts to the menu -- healthy and sugary both -- that's how to pick up money, not on the cheese and other add-ons - Also, add some of those Poppi drinks instead of those nasty Spindrift ones... (those taste like poison to me... maybe it's just me though...) So much is going right here -- but afraid the above might scare some people away. Ordered a wrap for pick-up and saw that it had gluten free options (which I was very excited about) so I got the Brother's Grimm wrap on a gluten free wrap. I probably should've known better with a GF wrap but within the time I picked it up to my 5 minute walk home, the contents of the wrap completely broke through and was all soggy and smushed together - I couldn't even eat the food as a wrap. I emptied it all into the bowl and eating it as such was alright - food had a lot of flavor and was good - but really had high hopes for finally a GF wrap spot. I've had other GF wraps before and this hasn't happened and after reading the reviews, everyone has had amazing experiences. So my advice is if your GF, don't get the wrap but get it as a bowl instead, that's what I'll be doing next time. read more

Great deal and very filling. Got it take out and ordered online, picked it up, and when I went home the fried chicken wasn't super crispy (probably our fault). Very big and dense in terms of filling your stomach up, so worth the value. Super easy to eat on the go or at home. Big wrap. Price was very reasonable for the size. I came here for the grand opening after work. They were offering $5 bowls and burritos. I was interested in the concept of gourmet wraps so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the Dire Wolf (slight nod to Game of Thrones) which had fried chicken wrapped in ginger dough with lamb bacon, melted cheddar, green papaya slaw, spicy pickled shapka peppers and wolf ketchup. The burrito was huge and came in a clever wolf wrap design. It was very filling and tasty. You can taste the quality ingredients in the meal. On regular days a burrito like this would be $15 which is a bit out of my price range. However, for $5 this was a delicious gourmet treat! read more

First off ... the food is amazing and worth every cent. But I wish it didn't take so long for delivery three blocks away. What I really wish is that the food would arrive warm and not cold. Cold wraps are OK, but cold Tater Tots? Maybe the wraps are supposed to be cold inside, I am genuinely not sure. They often mess up on the extra side sauces, and give the wrong one. The wraps are really good and don't need sauce, but I was looking forward to Big Bad Wolf - paid $1.99 for but they gave me Wolf Ketchup. IDK, maybe they ran out ? I do need something spicy to help digest the massive quantity. So I used my own Tabasco which was pretty good. I would order from here more often if they can get their act together and get the food delivered warm (three blocks away -maybe stop using Door Dash?), and remember the sauces on the side that are paid for. I should add that I get food delivered from all of their neighbors, right next door to them and it is always hot, Mazu, Romanos Pizza. Great food - bad delivery. So it is a little expensive for such bad execution, well practice makes perfect, hopefully they will get the kinks worked out soon. read more
