This is my second visit to Juva, and unfortunately will be my last. It seems like everyone is in their own bubble and the service is scattered. For example, I came in to pick up an online order, there was a gentleman ahead of me. Instead of saying please excuse us we will be with you shortly. The guy at the front desk (silver hair) and the customer were having an in-depth conversation, which is fine but at least address it, it looks bad when you've got customer standing outside and you're just chatting it up. I got to the pick up counter and the girl who's ringing me up doesn't even say hi or is this order for you? Then the same guy with the silver hair from the front desk appears again and starts asking her about Led Zeppelin? So she starts listing off the things I got in between the conversation with the guy so I asked her are you talking to me or him because it became very confusing. Come on dude, hold your private conversations after work or when customers are not around. It's extremely unprofessional and rude to do that and especially seeing this as a consumer it sends the message that my time isn't important and that people can do as they please, really disappointed as it's a nice place (aesthetically pleasing) but the customer service is very much lacking. read more

I do not know what the deal is with this place but just like two others have mentioned in recent reviews, they do not fulfill orders and there is no one available if you try to call them. I tried calling for over two hours, left messages, emailed and no one picked up, called back, or even responded to the email. Order was never delivered. This is by far THE WORST dispensary I have ever dealt with. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS DISPENSARY unless you want to sit around all day waiting for literally nothing. read more

So I ordered online and came to pick up, my experience follows: The good: Ordering: 10/10, probably the best ordering system I've seen, you can directly link your bank account and pay ahead of time which makes it completely contactless. Excellent. Service: 10/10, very fast packaging, as well as clear communication. Picked up my order with ease. Location: 10/10, perfect location in downtown Redwood City, can't beat it. Extremely close to public transportation (Caltrain, Samtrans) with good parking. The bad: Price: 1/10, the only flaw about this place is the extreme prices for products and lack of discounts, majority of dispensaries in San Francisco charge around $30-34 after taxes for a XL jeeter (2g), this place sadly charges about $50ish for one. You can also buy majority of their stiiizy products in San Francisco for absolutely cheaper as well from flower to pods. Overall this place has great potential, beautiful location, beautiful store, excellent staff, awesome ordering system although the prices are a complete turnoff to a daily consumer. I'm not sure if it's Redwood City taxes or specifically the storefront although I'd highly suggest trying to match prices in San Francisco for more regular customers to start coming back. The price makes me have to drive to SF although I'd definitely visit this place again if they lowered the prices, or at least offered returning customer discounts like most places. read more

I wanted to order some weed from Juva, but all of a sudden, they told me to watch my language. Fer Chrissake, it's an adult business with adult employees. Another dispensary in San Jose saved me money on good stash and didn't give me crap about my language. The guy I spoke with was VERY helpful, didn't give crap about my language and we had a very pleasant conversation. He told me he trains new employees to think of the dispensary like a bar, and they are essentially bartenders and should act accordingly. Can't say that for Kate. I asked her when Juva became a *Christian* dispensary and she denied that but the proof is in the pudding. She cancelled my sale. Very un-Christ-like of her. Unless you're a devout Christian. I recommend avoiding Juva unless there is no alternative. Just not worth the bullsh*t. read more

Nice store , been here twice and so far it has been very good. Sometimes the selections in store aren't in stock. The only thing I wished would be better is discounts to military veterans, because as of now it's only 15% discount the same if you're a senior citizen. I will not be returning to this dispensary as the last time I was overcharged and the staff was unwilling to help me despite the fact that I had the correct amount in the email confirming my purchase. Be wary, the items you see on the website might not be the real product. Multiple times I have had issued with delivery. This last time, I order a 1/2 oz, nowhere on the website did it say these were small buds. I never order small buds. When I got the delivery and realized they were really small buds (very low quality) I emailed regarding their misrepresentation of what they were selling (I assume this is illegal). They have not responded all week. I was spending $100-200 a week here. Terrible service. read more

I have been ordering from Juva for the past year or so, and I am so happy with the services. They are prompt, the communication from time of purchase to end of delivery is so thorough. The drivers are always pleasant and kind. I even had surgery last year and I would text back when they sent the confirmation for my order, informing them that I would be slow to the gate, and they were always so kind and understanding. I recommend this business to anyone that will listen- I love Juva. They also carry my favorite line of edible products with incredible variety, so huge plus! Biggest negative for me was that I started getting various spam texts from various numbers shortly after verifying my cell number through the company's website so my thought is that they share your number. I can't prove it but it was just too much of a coincidence. That and the delivery took about two hours so if they give you a delivery window expect the max time.
