I cannot tell you the amount of gratitude my husband and I have for Jonathan at JW Home Care. As first time homeowners, we were really nervous about coming across water damage in the kitchen and had no idea where to turn and how to file a claim with our insurance. I called Jonathan as a second opinion, after the first company gave us a sketchy, unrealistic estimate and expectations for how the entire process could go. Jonathan arrived same day, was courteous, professional and straight to the point. He was honest about the potential damage and at no time did he try to sell his services. It felt like I was getting professional advice from a friend. We decided to hire him and are beyond happy that we did. Since the damage was extensive and our homeowners insurance would be involved, Jonathan also referred us to Patrick from Golden Cost Claims (also local) who helped guide us through the claims process and made sure we were adequately compensated for the necessary repairs. Something I definitely would not have been able to navigate confidently on my own. Together, Jonathan and Patrick made our kitchen repairs almost effortless on our part. Jonathan kept us informed and updated at every turn and his team worked quickly and efficiently to restore our kitchen to so much better than it was before. We originally had a problem with our office space getting flooded out. It turned out that it was a hose bib located on the outside of the office space which sprung a leak underground. Being that our office space was located below grade from the outside asphalt, where do you think all the water pooled to? You got it, into our office space. The whole room was flooded out. After the water remediation and mold removal was finished we were lucky enough to find Roy and his crew online to drywall, texture and paint the room to bring it back up to PAR. What made the experience even more of a delight was the tight schedule we had and the way he was able to quickly work us into his schedule. Anyone who has ever dealt with water intrusion into spaces where water doesn't belong knows these things can take FOREVER to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Roy had a definitive date on hand when they could start and on extremely short notice. Everything turned out great. Roy is a true professional in every sense of the word. He does prefer to communicate over text messages like other reviewers have stated, but in this day and age who doesn't prefer to go that route. It makes it all a lot simpler to look at dates and times of conversations that took place and it allows for you to put it on your calendar in real time. I am so glad I have found JW Home Care! Jonathon's customer service is unbeatable. When I first called the number listed I was pleasantly surprised when he answered the phone right away, no hold time and no leaving a message. He was very personable and honest from the beginning. I have a restaurant and his attention to detail on our cushions and upholstery is great. He has gotten out spots that I had given up on myself. When he is working he is very aware of the environment he is working in which is very important for me as a restaurant owner. His service does not just stop at cleaning your coushins and upholstery, he is concerned about how they turn out and caters to any specific requests you might have. He takes my coushins outside one by one, and I have a lot, and props them up to dry in the sun. He caters to the specife time restrictions I have and is always on time! I am located in Santa Barbara and would not consider anyone other than JW Home Care, even if he is not local. He is very affordable and there are no hidden costs. It is rare to have the business owner perform your service himself. I have a large place and he is very thorough. I will be having him do my large oriental rugs next! I was in a "crunch" situation last week as we were on vacation and needed to find a company that would take care of my clients while we were gone. Jonathon, from JW Home Care, has cleaned my carpets three times and did an excellent job! My daughter was sick and soiled her bedroom carpet and it needed cleaning asap. Jonathon was able to get to me quickly and got rid of stain and smell as promised. On second visit, I had him do the stairs (again), and master, as well as daughters room (again), and the carpet looked practically new. Third visit, I had asked Jonathon to come try to get up a stain that didn't come up on the previous visit and he did that promptly and at no extra cost as he guarantees his work for 30 days. Absolutely Awesome! My dog tipped over a whole bottle of liquid laundry detergent on the carpet, not a rug, and there was a huge stain that I had no idea of what to do....nor had the time to as well. JW Home Care came to the rescue and made it good as new in a jiffy too! Jonathan was fast, professional, kind and very attentive to other areas that needed help in my condo without being pushy either. He cleaned the hallway, hard to clean stairs, high traffic areas and for a very amazing price! 8 months ago I left a review about how JW Home Care helped us with a water leak that was in our living room. Jonathan was able to save our wood floors and help us find someone to repair our drywall. Start to finish we were thankful we called him. 3 days before Christmas we had another leak in the kitchen (needless to say we repiped our house.) We called Jonathan. He saved the day once again. We came back from vacation to find water leak/damage to our downstairs (Bar area). I turned to yelp to find a carpet cleaner, and yelp didn't let me down! I called JW Home Care for a phone quote, after I was given a ballpark idea of how much I'd pay I booked the job. They came out two days later, they were on time, very professional, HONEST and did a GREAT job on my carpet! oh and I paid LESS than what I was told over the phone, that was awesome! Fantastic customer service! JW Home Care was amazing and there when I needed help on a holiday! One of my upstairs toilets sprung a leak on Christmas, causing water to drip out of the first floor ceiling. Johnathan and his workers came out promptly and fixed the damage. Johnathan even came back to my house on New Years eve and New Years day to finish the work so we could get our house back to normal ASAP. They were professional, thorough, and did a great job. Quick response in water emergency. Dining room with carpet and Oriental rug flooded by leak. They were there that afternoon and started drying equipment. Floors were dry fairly quickly. They did have to remove some drywall along the floor to check for mold due to the standing water. They found and quickly remediated the two spots of mold.
