Dropped off my Hawaiian bead to get the enamel filled and spoke w/ Jennifer. She was very nice and promised it would be done by next day...and it was =). When I picked it up I spoke with the gentleman, and he explained that my pendant was made with the old school enamel which was made by black glass. I came here to have a bracelet resized and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I picked it up, the gold plating was gone and the bracelet looked silver. On closer inspection, the spot where it was resized was already tarnishing. Less than two weeks later, the bracelet broke completely. I am newly engaged and unfortunately, the stone fell out of my engagement ring. I contacted four stores to repair the ring with one having a week and a half wait time, another quoting me $375 to bend the prongs back into place, and the last two denying me because of the material of the ring not being high enough quality. I felt completely defeated. JYL was the last place I tried, and when I told Jennifer my story, she agreed to help me! She told me to go shop for 20 minutes and she would have it ready, and for only $30. I was so happy and relieved that I started to tear up with joy. When I picked the ring up, it looked brand new. She did an incredible job and when I say that she is a life saver, I truly mean it. I thought this place was excellent ! I came in to ask if they could solder 3 rings together to make one ring and sure enough she said yes. I hate leaving my expensive diamond rings for repair that usually would take at least a week. So I asked if I could wait while she did it and she politely said well of course. She cleaned and polished it first then made my beautiful ring exactly how I wanted it. It took about 35 minutes and it was only $60. Other places I priced was about $250 to do the job since it involved platinum and diamonds. Professional and very nice . Perfect work, I'm very pleased and will be back again and again . Me and my husband have purchased from here before and didn't have a problem until now. We were looking to purchase a 40mm. Hawaiian bracelet and got some pricing on the work. We returned to JYL and had a conversation with Tony about grams on bracelet and was told it would be a certain amount and then when we had the work done and picked up the bracelets weight on the gold was short grams from what we were originally quoted. Very disappointing!! I reached out to both Jennifer and Tony and at first they said they would refund us money back and then when it came time to get a refund they said that they will not refund any money. Do not purchase from this shop unless you want to pay more then what your jewelry is worth. You will be over charged and not be satisfied with the price you pay. Very sad read more

Just ordered my daughters custom 14kt solid name necklace! I was very excited about it until I saw the finished product! First of all the name necklace looked awful! The letters of her name were uneven! Asked the owner why the letters weren't even, she couldn't give me an answer and told me she can adjust it! She took it in the back to bend the letters straight together....came back and told me that these necklaces are adjustable and some people liked the name curved, well......the only curved part in the name was the first three letters, mind you she has 8 letters....! Even after she bent the letters straight, some of the letters were not portioned to one another! I was going to order another necklace from her for my second daughter but def will not be returning to this company, the craftsmanship is hideous! There is another jewelry store upstairs from this shop and is about the same price and at least the name is all proportion to each other and looks way better....wish we walked into that previous store before walking into this one! Don't waste your money here!!! I spent hundreds of dollars on the necklace and I'm totally not satisfied, to make matters worse....the store owner won't redo my necklace to my satisfaction! read more

I've purchased a few custom hawaiian bracelets from them and have had them change the design (under $300 each bracelet) of a couple hawaiian bracelets from previous boyfriends. My husbands rope chain broke in the middle and they were able to fix that too. Had my ring resized 2 sizes here within an hour! They did an excellent job and it was so much more convenient that I didn't have to send my ring off for two weeks. There was no damage after the sizing too, the owner was super sweet and it was only 45$ for the whole sizing when zales across the way wanted to charge me 150$ and send it away for two weeks. read more

Resized my wedding band here. For my ring back dented/bent, scratched in the area where the resizing was done. One of the 4 diamonds for cracked, now it looks cloudy. And the 4 diamonds fell out of alignment. Both husband and wife wouldn't take responsibility. I said the least they could do was refund me for the horrible resizing, they refused. I took my ring to several other jewelers, and they all confirmed that it was a bad job. read more

Great customer service & they are totally about the customers!!! I came in about a month ago to see if I can exchange out my broken chain for a new one, different size! They offer a layaway payment plan, which so great for someone like me. I just recently missed one payment that was due last week, so I called to see if it was gonna be an additional cost because it was late. I called this place because my identity was stolen and their address is now on my credit report as my residence. I asked if a manager was present. A cranky woman with broken English told me there was a manager there, but she'd have to know why I wanted to speak with one. I told her that it was regarding a fraudulent account. She didn't understand. After a few minutes, she told me she was the manager. When I asked her why she didn't immediately identify herself as a manager, she told me that I didn't ask her and started yelling about what I had asked. Very suspicious and unprofessional. read more
