UPDATE Jyoti has since expanded and now has 2 threaders working for her, which is great for her! Not so great for her customers. I had messaged the salon because because I had wanted an appointment with Jyoti and I received a reply telling me that eyebrow threading was on a walk in basis- cool. The lady who did my eyebrows listened to my directions about keeping them fuller but also left them uneven, with the left side being thinner than the right. It seems that with Jyotis continued popularity, the quality has slipped here and you can no longer get that quality, personalized service that used to be here. I will no longer be coming here and will find somewhere else to get my eyebrows done. UPDATE PART 2 Jyoti messaged me and offered to fix my uneven eyebrows. I came in after I gave them some time to grow out and she did a great job. I still trust her expertise the most and for anyone who has a preference for Jyoti, she told me she is usually at the salon Thursday through Sunday. Not only do they do your eyebrows / waxing properly but do not show any signs of frustration if you ask them to redo something you didn't like. This place is great, it was my first time threading and the girl did good but when she was threading my chin and my upper lip she didnt do it well i still have so much hair on my chin she was doing it so fast like she was in a hurry or something and that time it was so dead they were only 2 customers.. i jst wish she was taking her time.. but overall its good.. read more

Went for Shahnaz facial and threading. the owner was not quite accommodating. She just showed the menu and asked which facial I wanted. The facial and the massage given was worthy. The best ever. The place was clean and spacious. 3 stars for the threading. Worst ever. It was the most painful experience ever. I got a cut on my nose. I am not sure of the person who did it to me. My thick eyebrows were made thin and I was so paining that I had a headache for 2 days. I am willing to revisit this place for facial but definitely not for threading. Best place in Bay area for eyebrows. I've tried a lot of eyebrow places but no one is as good as Jyoti.

I decided to go to her because it was close to my house and had good reviews on yelp. I went to her twice, the first time I went it was good (went for eyebrows, upper lips and forehead) but the second time I went, the threading near my chin caused cuts and there were 4-5 scabs the next day due to the cuts (I still have scars from those cuts, been 2 weeks now). The whole day my eyebrows and chin kept burning and I didn't understand what was happening till I saw the scabs next day. This particular time she was just rushing through threading and the whole session felt harsh on my skin where in it felt like she did threading without any care for my skin. I prefer Deepa threading queen, she is great but she is very far from my new address. After this experience, I would be okay going little farther but someone trustworthy and consistent. read more

I been going to jyoti for almost a year now. My eyebrows were very messed up before I started go to her place. She fixed my eyebrows and gave it a shape I wanted. She is really good in her work. All my friends go to her for waxing and threading. Even tho we moved all the way to Tracy, we still come to her when we have time. She is best in this work. She is moving to her new salon, I believe starting from June 16th. I am so happy for her success and would like to congratulate her for that. If you guys are tired of other places, I highly recommend Jyoti's Threading Center. You guys should try this place. You guys will love her customer service to her work. Tried for the first time for waxing and eyebrows. Waxing was a bad experience, the employee doing it seemed to be in quite a hurry and was hence quite harsh and not thorough. When i call them they made an appointment for me and when they walkin to salon.I told them that i did book an appointment.she did not even respond to that.I waited there for half n hour for waxing.The lady who was doing threading was replied so sarcastically its only just arms you want to do and she put her face so wierd and they try to make jokes on me in Hindi .Particularly the lady who do eyebrow threading is so so unprofessional.I recommend management to take actions on this kind of people ..I am paying for all the services and i will do whatever i want to there is no joke in that. read more

So I was hesitant on trying this place out because the reviews. I'd figured it's to good to be true but I'll give it a shot. I called and asked if I need an appt giving it's the holiday time. Jyoti said walk ins are welcome. I came just to do a full face. It seems a little pricey but totally worth every penny. I've read the reviews how some say she doesn't ask what you want it may be because we're not specifying what we'd like. I specifically said I'd just like a full face no eyebrows at all. Did exactly what was asked! Wasn't rude or disrespectful very welcoming pain less, kind and professional. I've been coming to Jyoti for threading for over a year now and she is fantastic! She has reasonable prices and does an excellent job. I text her for appointments and she usually gets back to me in less than an hour..often even less than 20 min. I used to go to eyebrows plus, but my brows were getting a bit thin and I often had different people doing the threading and they weren't consistent in their work.
