Chilling in the kennel on his own
    Pam C.

After fostering a pitbull from the Animal Foundation we soon found out we were in over our heads and needed some help. He was chasing our cat and we wanted to find out if he had a serious prey drive or was just curious so we started looking for a behavioral specialist online to help us assess our situation. We found K-9 Behave through google and decided to give Keynoe a call. After a 20 minute phone call and mini consultation we decided we liked what we heard and set up an initial meet and greet. After a few sessions we found out Kai is just extremely curious about the cat so we decided to fully adopt him! He was never a "pet" and was just used for breeding so our work was cut out for us. It isn't an easy process training a dog but it is so rewarding when you start to see results. Kai still goes straight to his bed ("go sit") whenever I grab his food bowl! Keynoe also boarded him while we were out of town and we came home to a much more relaxed dog, it was great. He was terrified of the kennel prior to our vacation and once we returned he would go sleep in his kennel on his own. He is still a work in progress but Keynoe helped us a lot! Def recommend!

You want to talk about truth? Okay let's do that. Truth, you came into my home on day one without any introduction with my dogs beforehand and proceeded to walk into the room where they are kenneled and began banging and slamming on their kennels as well as poking my dogs with a stick; causing my dogs to get worked up and anxious resulting in one of them biting the stick to protect herself and injuring her mouth. Truth, On the second session you were in my room getting one of the dogs to walk which somehow resulted her getting so scared she ran away from you and lost control of her bowels in my bathroom, closet and on my bed. Truth, as a responsible dog owner when you are noticing poor behavior and habits from your dog that you are not equipped to handle you turn to a professional dog trainer which is exactly what I did. As far as the dog fighting accusations go, I have never had my girls in a dog fighting ring. Yes they have gotten into it due to one of them having an issue with anxiety hence why I reached out to a dog trainer for help. And the last truth is that on May 6th around 8am you were on one side of the street walking my dog while I was on the other side when you proceed to lift my dog up off the ground, all four paws in the air by the slip leash around her neck resulting in her choking and gagging. Not only did you do it once but you did it twice. When I made the decision to end the session because I was too upset to continue you became defensive. Not only did you admit to me that you did it when I told you I was upset about it but you also admitted that you shouldn't have done it when my mother called you to get your side of the story. Now all of the sudden you won't admit you were in the wrong because everyone else is watching? Because at the end of the day you know what you did was wrong and your job as the dog trainer is to help guide me on how to work on and solve the issues my dogs are having, not traumatized them. I should have heeded the warnings from the other one star reviews because in my experience they were 100% correct. And while I'm here would you please send me a copy of our signed contract? This is now my third time asking for it. ...thanks for the reply confirming what I said about not wanting to say anything now that people are watching. We got the shelter dog that no would else would take, He was never in the front kennels, always in the back. I saw a video of him and he was so beautiful I had to ask why no one was taking this dog, he was also young. With the passing of our beloved Gracie we headed back to Henderson animal shelter, to look for another dog.(no dog could replace her but our belief is grieving is ok, but saving another life is the right thing to do.) I ask the attendant where id the dog I see on the internet but never out in the court yard. She went in the back to get him. What a love bug, we all got kisses, he was so sweet. We took him to our vet the next day and he flipped out no one could come near him, he just stayed closed to us. Our vets refused him. We found Keynoe at K-9 Behave and he was able to make such a difference in this dog's life and ours as well. He is well trained and listens to commands. We have had him 2 years now and what a difference an educated trainer can do. Keynoe we thank you and most of all Ziggy thanks you.

Mackenzie's boot camp training with Keynoe!
    Lisha R.

My boyfriend and I have decided to hire Keynoe to train our pit bull/boxer canine. She is 6 years old and has behavioral and socialization issues that we have been unable to solve on our own. We decided to purchase his boot camp training course which is very accommodating and flexible for us being that we are working during the week and have little to no time during business hours. The 24/7 support and his knowledge and understanding of dogs has really set him apart from other trainers. We are able to keep constant communication which we feel is a vital component in the training process of our dog. He encourages 24/7 text support to address the issues prior to sessions maximizing the training time which is great! He also offers boarding services which gives us a huge relief for future trips, knowing that our pup will be a great hands. We are only on our second session and have already noticed major signs of improvement. We are very excited to continue working with Keynoe and to ultimately reach our goals by the end of the training experience. We would highly recommend him!

When I picked him up the charge was $10 more a night than usual and it was not communicated to me that the fees went up. I was also very confused about the name change and new staff, as it was not communicated to me about price change, name change, or staff change. My dog came home sick with kennel cough and as the next few days passed his cough got significantly worse. He started to really scare me with his cough as this was the first time in 9.5 years my dog has ever been sick. After a call with the manager Brooklyn I was left feeling disgruntled and taken advantage of with the entire change and my dog coming home sick. I spend $187 at the vet for meds. I called back to give them an opportunity to make it right and she was kinder this time on the phone but did not make it right. She also told me they are under the same ownership and management even though public record states different. For someone who comes often and always treats everyone in there with kindness and respect I do not feel that they made it right. It would have been nice to have atleast one night credited to my account but instead all they did was credit me $20 for the non communication about the overcharge and new pricing. Just know if your animal comes home sick, you will be responsible for the entire bill with no financial empathy from management. The front desk girl at the Jones location is the sweetest ever. She gives 100000% amazing customer service and should be in charge of guest recovery going forward.

There were a few problem behaviors we were able to work on right away. Jumping, sitting, and overall listening. AJ is extremely great with our dogs. They are excited to see her every session, and happy to work hard for her. AJ is not only a great dog trainer but also a teacher to us humans. She helped us learn the tools we needed for our dogs to be successful. After 8 sessions our dogs are doing great with door manners, a long stay, coming when called and more. She has taught us fun games that allow the dogs to use their noses to find scents, while also tiring them out. I recommend AJ to anyone in need of help with dogs who already are great, but have a few quirks to workout. And I highly recommend AJ to anyone with new pups in the house. She has made a huge difference for us, and our dogs as well as everyone's confidence!

I must stress that AJ is just not about training but more importantly she believes in Nala's well being. AJ created a bond with Nala, yet Nala is aware she is in training. AJ listened to our needs, and investigated our surroundings/situation. AJ prioritizes Nala's delicate insecurities. There are not many Trainers (or businesses) that go above and beyond the need to "sincerely help" and yet is still a professional. ie: AJ has accompanied us on numerous Vet visits; suggested Doggie Daycare, plus accompanied us on Nala 1st visit and ensured Nala's transition into socializing with other dogs. In which was a success! Nala is now at leash training status and people interaction. Stay tuned for further updates... Don't ponder... we still HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ for your pet training needs!!!!

We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. He is patient, clear and builds a strong foundation that helps puppies build confidence. We had a package for both private and group training, and both have been incredibly valuable for us & Winter. A Training Program That Truly Follows the Dog - Exceptional Transferable Guarantee!…read moreMy husband Jim and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bark Busters! We fostered Willow, a Labradoodle, intending to find him a forever home, but we completely "failed" at fostering and fell in love with him. Willow's previous owner had invested in Bark Busters Gold Service training before we adopted him. As a disabled Veteran, Jim has found Willow to be an incredible mental health support, and we wanted to ensure we continued his training properly. A Guarantee That Truly Puts Dogs First: What truly sets Bark Busters apart is their remarkable Life of Dog Support Guarantee, which is transferable when a dog is re-homed! This transferable guarantee demonstrates Bark Busters' genuine commitment to the dogs they train, not just their clients. They understand dogs may change homes and built a system ensuring those dogs receive lifelong support. This is virtually unheard of in the dog training industry! Seamless Support: We contacted Bark Busters to learn about Willow's training, and they made the transfer process incredibly smooth. Their focus was clearly on Willow's wellbeing and ensuring continuity in his care. They taught us the Bark Busters method - natural dog communication using body language and voice control that Willow already understood. No treats, no harsh corrections, no complicated equipment. The Results: Thanks to their transferable guarantee and guidance, we've maintained Willow's excellent behavior and strengthened our bond tremendously. The relationship between Jim and Willow has flourished, making an incredible difference in Jim's daily life and wellbeing. Lifetime Peace of Mind: We can contact our certified trainer anytime new issues arise - for Willow's entire life. As he grows and faces new challenges, we have peace of mind knowing professional help is available. Even if we relocate, the guarantee moves with us! Our Recommendation: If you're struggling with dog behavior issues, we wholeheartedly recommend Bark Busters. They work with any breed, age, and issue. Their trainers are knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping families. Most impressive: their Life of Dog Support Guarantee is transferable when a dog finds a new home. That forward-thinking policy shows incredible integrity and true commitment to every dog they train. It's a game-changer for rescue or adopted dogs. Willow is a well-behaved, happy companion, and thanks to Bark Busters' transferable lifetime guarantee, we have confidence and support to continue his success. We're so grateful for their innovative approach ensuring every dog receives lifelong support, regardless of circumstances! - Jim & Tammy Proud parents of Willow the Labradoodle
