Went here with my mom and we loved the way our manicures came out. It was a bit pricy compared to other places but they really took their time to make sure they were perfect which I appreciated. Very relaxing and received more then I expected. The deluxe package included a scrub massage, a lotion massage, foot paraffin and skin scrubbing. The massage chair was an extra bonus. I was nicked in a few fingers with a drill. When that happens the manicure should stop right then and there. Also if you have SNS on it should be soaked in acetone with foils not drilled off! I got a very bad infection coming into this salon due to improper protocols and when I messaged the owner to let her know the response was I will forward the information. I do not recommend this salon! read more

I am a Hairstylist for 30 yrs, and been to allot of places to get my nails done. I live in Indian Trail and drive all the way to go see my girl. This place is awesome...I was recommended about7-8 years ago through a co worker .Very accommodating & polite every time. I also like this place K&E because it is very clean, close to my work, always does a fantastic job and makes me feel like family! Another reason I like coming here that it's convenient.... There is Food lion, Dollar store and now a breakfast place called Stacks! Also alot of parking! read more

I do NOT recommend this place. Yes, they got me in for an appointment for tips and acrylic but it was the worst and most rushed job I've ever received. The woman sitting next to me for a fill-in was there longer than me. They kept hitting the skin on the sides of my fingers with the drill and file. OUCH!!!! They never cut my cuticles or pushed them back at all. I left feeling totally RIPPED OFF and these photos show my nails immediately after getting them done. read more

Our dog was being groomed across the street from K & E Nail, so I figured I would give them a chance. Big mistake! The cost of a "Basic" pedicure is $25.00 and a "Spa Pedicure" is $30.00. I asked what the difference was and was told that they give a better leg and foot massage and add scrub for your legs. I opted for the "spa mani -pedi" - at $40.00. As for the massage with scrub? That was quite a joke since it turned out to be just a little dab of scrub that the nail tech put on his FINGERTIPS to massage my legs. Normally, nail technicians will put a fair amount on your legs and really massage them. They didn't even do a paraffin wax dip - which my regular salon does even if it's a basic pedicure. What a waste of money and 45 minutes - from the wait time in the lobby when I entered the business until I left after receiving mani-pedi! My feet were in the foot basin no more than 5-10 mins tops! If I'm spending that much money for a pedicure, I want it to last a while and be relaxing. I was shocked when he started draining the water out of basin and placed my flip-flops on my feet. I will say that I did like the fact that he polished my toes after the flip-flops were on! Later, when I asked about the wax dip, I was given the most senseless answer as to why they didn't use it: "Only in the wintertime - it's too hot and people like cool lotion in the warm weather!" SERIOUSLY???? As for the manicure, this is where I really got upset. I don't have great nails, and opt for my nails to be buffed rather than polished, but I DO expect for the cuticles and nail beds to be done correctly. Afterwards, when I got out to my car, and upon further inspection, I went right back inside for a do-over because my nails were jagged and cuticles and dead skin still very visible. The young lady that re-did them did a much better job - I won't fault her for the other man's mistakes! I did tell her that she should make that man give her half of his tip since she had to re-do his job! I should NOT have tipped him at all - but I'm not that mean. I did tell her that this was the fastest mani-pedi that I have ever received! One very interesting side note, I'm not sure what they use to clean the foot basins, since I NEVER saw anyone doing it, nor did I smell any bleach or cleaners that they may possibly use. Typically, you will see at least 1 person cleaning a foot basin within a nail salon while you're there. Do yourself a favor - go elsewhere!!!!! read more

Went here for a mani/pedi before my foot surgery. First thing that should have tipped me off to the caliber of this place was getting my manicure at the same time as my pedicure and having to hold my right arm stretched out across my chest so the guy could do my right hand (God forbid he get up and go to the other side!) I like to relax when getting a manicure and this surely was not! I guess they are in a hurry so my feet hardly soaked initially at all! Which explains the horrible way my feet looked when I got to the car. I used my ped egg on my heels the next morning before the surgery and it did the trick. If I would have known the results would be this bad I could have just used the ped egg and saved $40!! read more

Probably the worst mani-pedi I have ever received. I took my daughter there for a special treat and I am not happy with our experience. My nail polish peeled off within a few hours and the tech left rough edges on my nails (probably caused the peeling)...nevermind, the fact that he didn't put a top coat on anything. The employees were in a rush and acted very impatient with my 8 year old daughter. We will NOT be returning! read more

Nail techs are very nice when they're getting your money and you're leaving 50% tips, but TWICE I have had to have 2 nails replaced after they randomly broke within a 24 hour period because the nail tech filed them so thin. I called in advance to ask to speak to a manager to see what could be done about the situation and first they told me she would be in the next day, but when I called back they said they didn't have a manager and would let me speak to another nail tech, but then proceeded to converse in another language (I'm assuming about the issue) while I was on hold for longer than a minute. I live more than half an hour away and when I came to have the nail fixed I was treated so rudely despite being more than nice about the issue. I made an appt. for 10 a.m. and was not seated until after 10:40. The older, tall and slim man was very snappy when he spoke to me because he was upset over having to take the time out to fix the issue. Talk about poor customer service! My advice? GO ELSEWHERE. Definitely NOT worth the money or wasted time!! read more
